BlackBerry smartphones does not receive messages

My torch has stopped receiving texts.

It has been more than two months now, and I don't know what I can do for her.

I'm sure there is a setting somewhere on the laptop itself that has disabled it because several times [it's an ongoing thing] I turn it on and the screen displays a page of preferences of some sort and I am sure that I made a change on some sort of page by accident without realizing it and I do not know is that he cannot receive texts Since I often accidentally found on some unknown page that was opened for some reason any when I turn on the mobile and often wondering Hey is I turn on or turn off a setting here? and then because I left the page I don't know where it is to go back there and check.

Only "setting" I can think of is in the firewall. I don't know the exact key sequence on your level of model/OS specific BB (who, btw, or of which you have specified...), but it is normally within the 'Options' and in the Security section. In the settings of the firewall, there is the possibility to completely block SMS messages or only allow those coming from contacts that you have in your address book.

    I had the same problem, and in my case it was because of a box checked in Outlook which was remove the message from the server of mail before it was recovered by the BIS.

    To address in Outlook, you need to:

    1) go to tools account settings--->

    (2) select the e-mail account that you experience a problem with & click 'change '.

    (3) in the pop-up window, select "additional settings".

    (4) select the "Advanced" tab

    (5) by 'Delivery' tick the box 'keep a copy of messages on the server.

    This should solve the problem.

    Hello. I have problem with UDP receiver.

    I can receive messages from the same port you write.

    Stream: open vi--> vi--> read vi UDP UDP writing.  Transmitter and receiver usinf th test port.

    When I try to use vi UDP listen port to just read, I get all the data.

    Program flow. I use vi to send the command on the serial port to MCU. Answer MCU return by sending data to the network port using UDP.

    I start vi to listen to a port UDP (see attached), then I sent the order to MCU. I can see the response on Wireshark, but UDP vi does not receive anything.

    I checked the IP address. Lokks all the same. IP address of the PC and decice is the same as when I write and read at the same time. Any other port.

    Any help please.

    Is the port that you want to use to open? For safety that many IT services will be blocked in ports that don't think they are necessary, or don't want to use.

    Have you tried and went to accept via Bluetooth? Some of the older software on the BBS, you need to go to the media file and say accept via Bluetooth. Consider the two features are already paired.

    Are the contacts to your BlackBerry address book and on your SIM card?

    Or ONLY on your SIM card?

    Open your address book, press the Menu key then click on filters and make sure that no filters are checked.

    Now, back in the address book.

    You have 64 MB of memory total on your device. You sent that you have 0bytes free.

    15 MB of free space would be regarded as a minimum.

    Most people close the applications by pressing escape or the red button. This does not close the applications.

    Each application has an option close. For example, if you are in the calendar, press the menu key (spotted) and scroll down to the bottom close is listed.

    One when you're done using the browser, press menu and options, select cache operations,

    Delete all categories and press ESC it will clean the browser cache.

    Select the memory clean option on the BB. Go to options, security, memory, cleaning, activate it.

    The BB will now clean up the memory when idle for 5 minutes.

    I'm not 100% sure, but I think that there is a restart due to the update of the BONE last week. I don't know if this has coincided with the problem.

    There are four conditions, you will have to check.

    Your device must be accompanied by a network of the company. I'll assume you checked this, and it looks to be the case.

    Your company must provide BIS and you have BIS on your line (your account). Looks like it's true, but it is possible there is an error with your account. You should perhaps consult the carrier and check.

    I suggest saving the device first. Make sure you have a strong mobile signal. Wait for the confirmation message.

    If you still have problems, contact the carrier customer service to solve problems more. When you talk to the carrier, explain your troubleshooting so far.

    I can't understand how to send photos or video via a text message.  Can I receive, and I know that my service allows me to send it, because I had my parents added to my plan (AT & T family plan) and they can also send photos with their phones from wal-mart for $10.  Whenever I have search the Internet how to do this, they show screen phone calls with the menu that lists several options for how send a photo, and one of them is text.  My phone does not have this option if, whenever I hit send on a picture my only three options are e-mail, bluetooth and Tag (don't know exactly what it is, but when you select it says to place the back of the two phones together, is not an option in SMS language).  In addition, nowhere in my menu when composing a text find an option to add attachments. so I can send them this way or the other.

    HA, had fixed after only on the hour on the phone being bounced back from AT & T BlackBerry and vice versa. For anyone who purchases a phone off of the internet (ebay), even if it is new, it can be registered by a dealer or a supplier that offers no MMS messages and they will be blocked and do not come even to the top as an option on your phone.     I tried to send service books today, but now I can't even access the e-mail account management option to send service directories. When I enter the application, it says 'check updates' but never recovers. I left about 10 minutes today and will continue to say: "check updates".

    I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    I sent a PIN message to two BlackBerry smartphones and it shows that it has been delivered at the time.

    I suggest to uninstall BBM by going to Options > management of applications and games of the BBM and press menu and select Delete.  Then, restart the BlackBerry Curve.

    Go to the go to www.blackberry.com/bbm and download this new version and back on once more the BlackBerry Curve and then test.

    I can't get my brand new Blackberry Curve 8330 and Outlook to reconcile messages when I sync.  Everything else (tasks, calendar, Contacts, etc) synchronize but not my e-mail messages.  As a test, I used my Blackberry to send an e-mail to test one of my e-mail addresses to another.  I received the message on my Blackberry and removed.  When I got home I connected my Blackberry on my computer and synchronized, but the message was always in my Outlook Inbox (in other words, that it had not been deleted), and there was no message sent in the sent box.

    Setting my Blackberry e-mail indicates Wireless reconcile as 'On '.  The problem is maybe that my home office is in a dead zone.  But if my Blackberry is connected to my computer, why should this serious?

    When I go to Desktop Manager and click Synchornize, "Balancing the Messages" box does not seem to be verified, but the program won't let me check it out.  Can someone help me?

    Go to options advanced options, host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT CLICK on any list.
    Press the menu key and select sign up now.
    You will receive a verification email. Then go to email settings and send service directories.
    Some models like the Curve 8330 and Pearl require connecting carriers BIS site
    via a PC. You will receive an email by account. a test to see if the problem is resolved.

    If you do not know the site of BS of carriers, send me the name of carriers.
