BlackBerry Smartphones DTEK50 won't mount SD card

I just got the DTEK50 today and try to put in place... so far its going very well. It won't add my icloud email account to the blackberry hub... so I will try to understand that one. But my real concern is that I added a 128 GB SD card to the device for more storage. The phone says its available but must be mounted. So I click "Mount" and he told me that the card is mounted. I exit settings and return back in one, he showed the East. Ideas?

I forgot the link! Sorry

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Regarding your backup problem, plug your device and run BlackBerry Desktop Software for windows in the office software click Devive > delete data > data choose selected > scroll social power database > mark it and whose losses. Once this part is deleted, try to perform a full backup.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones phone won't boot to the top

I downloaded a few applications to Blackberry World on my night of phone. One was booster. When I tried to open it I got an error message saying something about Java, and after failed attempts to open it, I deleted it. The other was AP Reader. I just tried to open it for the first time this morning. When I clicked on it, the phone started to reboot. He took an unusually long time to restart, then I put down and came back some time later. When I picked up, he seemed to be in the off position. I tried to turn it back on but nothing happened. So I took the battery out and put back. The fire came, stayed on a minute or two, but instead of booting, the phone is off again. I tried to remove the SIM card as well as the battery and then replace both, but he got the same results. I can't even reset the phone to default settings because I can't seem to start. Help! What can I do?

Sometimes you gotta try some variations... If you have tried only twice, you did not probably not enough variations. I remember a device where I had to wait for the touchscreen to become active, hold down the ESCAPE key for about 50% of the loading bar, release, then press and hold again close to 80% to 90%. A strange sequence, but it worked for me.

If you don't want to keep trying, your only recourse will be more drastic... I hope you have a good backup, as it is unlikely that you will be able to get one now.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

Good luck and let us know!

    Hi kayaniv

    Welcome to the community

Please try to start your BlackBerry in Mode safe and that uninstalling that application, may be that the application is in conflict with your device software.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones to transfer files from memory card to device memory

Hi... the subject seems pretty basic.

But when I plug my 8330 to a computer, I can access only files in the directory "Blackberry", which are files on the SD card.  I want to be able to access files / photos stored on the memory of the device.  I thought that to transfer the files from the device to the SD memory memory then would allow me to download on my computer

Someone knows how to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

Go to the media, press menu and Explorer, go to the memory of the device to locate the file, select the file menu, and then tap new and move

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Dtek50 auto rotation question

    Hello community,

my old Dtek50 of a month, sometimes stops auto rotation toggle turn same auto is on. I checked the settings-accessibility - auto rotation... is on. Device settings-display-when is turned isn't properly adjusted on do rotate the contents of the screen. I did the test of the sensor with the expert virtual Blackberry and the sensor works very well. I tried with a game using the sensor and everything is ok. A simple reboot solves always... but it's a bit boring.

Last week, it happened twice. I noticed this problem after update from September.

Anyway, today I did a factory reset... I'll monitor the device without having to install the apps I use generally.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Auto rotation problem solved! As I said in my previous posts my sensor has worked well (and so I have is maybe a software problem, kernel?).. .so I tried a few apps from the game store: the only one who's really works: "auto rotation to lie down". For those who are facing the problem just install the app and give the requested permissions. Works like charm! Glad for not having sent the smartphone for repair!

  • Slatebook 10 X 2 won't mount sd card

When in recovery mode and I try to install a zip of either SD card file I get the error message "Failed to go up."  Any ideas?

    Thanks for your reply.

After working with if for a bit, I decided to use the specified HP size microSD and it worked.  If the tablet will recognize and use the larger maps, it seems that in RECOVERY mode the Tablet be able to mount that specify only the factory specifications.

I went to a 32 GB microSD and fitted very well into RECOVERY mode.

    Thanks again.

  • BlackBerry smartphones put the contacts on SD card

I just got a passport of BB and wishes to transfer through all of my data, including contacts of my BB "BOLD".  On this page

    http://UK.BlackBerry.com/support/DeviceSwitch/switch-from-BlackBerry-OS5-7.html

    It is said:

If you have information stored on your SIM card, such as contact information, save the data in the storage space on your old device or card before starting to move devices.

I have my contact details on my SIM card (which does not in the passport of BB), this step is important to me.  But all I can find on this forum is the responses that say we can't transfer contacts on an SD card.  What to do?

    Thank you.

This function (go to the SIM directory) did not exist in my old BlackBerry "BOLD" menu. I ended up bringing my phones in a Vodafone store where they connected the two devices and the device has transferred all the contacts of 437. It took an hour os so, passport to recognize and see them all, but it worked fine.

The media card is reserved for 'media'... as you say. Photos, videos, music, files/documents.

You do not want to move your contacts to your SIM card, because the SIM card is designed to contain only a single name/one number and no email address, nothing else. Instead, make a backup of your old device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and then restore this backup on your new device, if you had done a previous backup.

Do you have BlackBerry Protect installed on the old device? If Yes, when you sign in to your BlackBerryID for the new device, you can use your BlackBerry Protect data to restore on the new device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones that I need a SD card reader?

Hello. I am browsing online for microSDHC cards for my curve (which are at incredibly low prices, btw) and I have read in some places that downloading music files will have ages of the computer to my SD card on the blackberry.

should I look into purchases, a reader of card memory as well? or is it not a problem. I'm perfectly willing to leave the files to download for hours is that they have for so long that I don't have to be dragged onto the songs one by one. Thank you.

If you make reference to how long it takes to get a song from your computer to your phone, here is what I do.  I download a song from limewire usually only take a minute or two. Then I drag my open Desktop Manager and it converts the file and load it to the blackberry in like 30 seconds. If I have several songs that I highlight all the and drag them to once again they get converted taking a minutes a couple for say 10 songs and on the blackberry, it will.  There is no way that I could see it taking hours unless you do 100 songs to one, then it might.  Still, there is no strict rule, it is only what I know and what I treat.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, viewing photos from an SD card

    Hello!

Just got my 9850 and love it, except for one item - I 'synchronized' photos from my computer on my device, but I can't get the 9850 to show them.  In fact, I pulled the SD card on the phone and checked on my computer - they are there, but I can't see when the card is in the camera.  I can play my music to the card, but not photos. I'm sure that it's simple, but nothing I've tried works.  Help!

I just did the synchronization using Blackberry Desktop Manager and uploaded photos. I tried to use a reader/writer SD before and then cards that the photos were on the map the 9850 do not recognize them. Hope that helps.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards
