BlackBerry Smartphones Dual Outlook calendar articles

I have a Blackberry Curve 8330 and in sync with the Microsoft Outlook calendar.  I have a lot of articles on my Blackberry that are displayed twice.  They are ok on Outlook but I there twice on my Blackberry calendar.  It is usually something that I don't have a time associated, as a birthday or an anniversary year.  Any ideas why it appears two times on my Blackberry?

they appear to be events every day? or they end up getting some time on the bb? If they get on the bb sometimes get different times? as 12 / 12 and 12:01-12:01?

Open your calendar, click on the menu and options

How many calendars listed? What is? and click on each of them, the number of entries of each?

GoTo homescreen-options-advanced options by default services... which is attached to ICAL?

  • BlackBerry Smartphone Sync Outlook calendars with several "layers".

    Hello

I have several 'layer' in my calendar in Outlook as Holiday, private, office, etc... When I sync the calendar with my H/H, however not appear only the default calendar being sync. Is it possible to synchronize the other layers as well?  Thanks a bunch...

    Hello

The object is to get all records associated with a calendar, which can be synchronized with Outlook.

The default calendar is the calendar of the device, items synced to it will not correctly synchronize on the desktop.

    (1) delete your addresses of e-mail of the device.

    (2) use the link below to clear the Calendar database.

    (3) recreate the e-mail address you want to associate with your main calendar.

    4) go to default services and make sure that your email address for the main calendar is specified

in the CICAL and CMIME entries. Save it.

    (5) in the Office Manager, specify a one-way synchronization of Outlook to the device for the calendar only.

    (6) once successful, check the calendar of primary e-mail and make sure that all records are there.

    (7) run synchronization for each category separately until you have all the correct data on the BB.

    (8) recreate the second email address.

    (9) send service directories.

    (10) the BB has now all the calendar entries in the calendar main correct email, with no record in another.

    (11) on the PC, delete the intellisync folder and reconfigure the installer for normal 2 way sync.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones multiple Outlook calendars?

    Hello.

I am a new BB user (just got the phone today) and I have a few questions on the PDA software startup and how it related to Outlook.

I have multiple calendars in my vision that I need to sync and have visible (and hopefully changed) on my BlackBerry.  I am a user of sync to my outlook via the USB cable and the desktop synchronization software.  I was able to select different calendars to sync, but on the BlackBerry, I don't see them and can't find a way to view them.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Bob Smiley

Too bad.  I tried to synchronize the wrong file, so not surprising that entries were not appear!  GIGO.

    Kind regards

  • E-Mail blackBerry Smartphones Exchange Outlook calendars, not Blackberry using Internet synchronization

    * Please move if it is in the wrong forum. *

This user is currently not on our BES connection to our Exchange Server by using the Internet e-mail option. He is currently on an another BES due to a company takeover.

The problem is that his mail correctly comes through but his calendar is not synchronized. I checked most of the obvious and watched options through the KB and couldn't find anything too specific. It is not on our BES so I wouldn't have to touch. It could be a problem with the Exchange, but others with the same situation do not experience this problem.

    Help, please!

Each e-mail account integrated with the BB will automatically have a corresponding schedule assigned... color is automatic. In regards to whether or not the calendar can sync OTA, which is based on the features of the server that e-mail account is working with. To my knowledge, OWA is not one of the servers that supports synchronization of calendar OTA and would require the use of sync USB/BT tethered via the desktop software. You can check that by following the instructions in the KB linked above... as it says at the bottom of the KB, if the feature is not listed, then the server is not able to do that through BIS.

Also I have no idea why others have what they have... maybe they did a wired synchronization? Maybe they have hidden agenda entries left over? Perhaps they received prompt and accepted on the BB? Maybe a lot of things.

Oh... and look what I found:

    • KB29026 Impossible to sync contacts and calendar wirelessly with the built-in Microsoft Outlook Web Access account

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones multiple Outlook Calendar Sync for BB Storm accounts multiples

Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

Here's my setup. I manage a band and I act as their booking agent.  On my desk, I use Outlook 2007 for all my emails, contacts and calendar events.  In Outlook, I have 2 files of calendar.  1 is the deafult "Personal folder" calendar which syncs to Google Calendar.  This calendar (which I will call RS Cal) has only one band show dates, nothing more.  Now I hae has created a new PST file and in this file, I have another calendar calle "Personal Calenedar" (I'll call Cal Pers).  CAL pers does not synchronize with any outdoor calendar.

Here's what I woud like.  On my storm, I have 2 email accounts.  1 is ch***.wr**@***band.com.  The other is cw**@***inc.com.  Now, when I sync the two calendars on my storm from Outlook by using Device Manager, all appointments go into the account of cw**@***inc.com.  It's ok.  I can survive.  But I would like Cal Pers sync to represent cw**@***inc.com and RS Cal sync with ch***.wr**@***band.com.  This way I can choose which calendar I look to get an idea of what is going on in the moment.

Is this possible?  What should I do to make this happen?  I tried to have the Google calendars to sync wirelessly with my storm, trying to separate them in this way, but it did not work.  I had some incorrect settings.  I'm not against trying again.

Once again, thank you for your help and I will give you further information, that you may need.

Hi and welcome to the forums. I know exactly what you mean by the presence of two calendars. I too have a double calendars etc. Outlook 2007...

Unfortunately, the BB display a calendar. All calendars in outlook will be synchronized to it, but it can show as part of the device itself.

  • BlackBerry smartphone error synchronizing Calendar using Desktop Manager 4.7, Outlook 2003, on the storm

I just installed Desktop Manager on my PC (Windows XP).

    Contacts sync fine.

    Calendar does not synchronize:

"Schedule of playback device" is fine.

    "Treatment device calendar" is fine.

'Reading of MS Outlook calendar' is where the error occurs:

Desktop Manager starts to read Outlook 988 items and constantly stops at the point #227, with one of the two error messages:

    (1) ' reported Intellisync, unknown error"or

    (2) 'operation ended unexpectedly.'

    I followed the directions for:

How to enable advanced logging for Intellisync because of the failure of the synchronization to the BlackBerry smartphone

    to

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB01451&SLIC...

This operation required that I change the iloptcfg.cfg file.

    Still no luck. any suggestions?

around on this issue... the only way I found to fix this was to reset the device completely and synchronize "fresh" from my computer. Note: has happened since then, and every time that it is when I use the camera to change a recurring APPT. For now, my lessons learned: whenever I need to edit or delete a recurring appt, I do it from the computer so I do not get locked out of sync to the storm.

  • Smartphones blackBerry sync Blackberry Torch with Outlook calendar

    Hello

I recently switched from a Windows phone to the Blackberry Torch because I needed a phone that would easily synchronize with Outlook.  I have it set to only change the calendar on the device (not the PC) because I'm afraid that Outlook events will be deleted.

What is me confused is that when the synchronization of calendar, he wants to delete and add the same events, even when I make any changes to the calendar on the phone or Outlook.  I get the following:

The following changes to Microsoft Outlook calendar will be applied to your device data in the calendar:

    934 deletion
    Addition of 934

I don't know why he wants to do.  Events may be in the past or future, or no periodical.

Anyone know why this is happening?

In your synchronization settings, you put "replace all data in the target application?  If so, that means it will delete everything on your BlackBerry and replace it with everything in Outlook, so it would be normal.

  • BlackBerry smartphone synchronization of calendar on BB Bold with Outlook 2003

I just installed the V4.6.0.12 BB Desktop Manager. When I sync with my outlook 2003, all the applications in use are synchronized, with the exception of the grille.  (My device properties are version 4.0.0.155 platform & application 4.6.0.162 version)

Existing calendar entries in my BB Bold device synchronize & appear on my outlook calendar according to what she was doing, when I used the curve.

I tried all the possible configurations on the Manager Office, either via a two-way or one-way synchronization with the option to transfer all calendar items, and still no entries are reflected on the outlook calendar.

If I do all the new entries on my outlook calendar, it is apparent on the separate calendar in the device according to the schedule listed in my email account, instead of the 'device failure', where all the entries are in.

Anyone would be able to provide a solution for this?

    Cool!
I'm glad that you fixed it.
Please solve the thread so that others can find your answer faster.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 8220 flip: calendar sync problems

Recently received a 8220 Flip as a working phone.  Set up synchronization and everything, but the calendar works fine.  The timing of the device deletes entries, then trying to refresh the calendar outlook with deletions.  These are usually in the region of 700 entries (the device trying to delete). I want to keep all the old and new entries in outlook and my camera, but the phone only seems to recognize the recurring appointments in the calendar. Has anyone seen this kind of problem before? I basically want the outlook calendar and the calendar of the same device, and for each update with changes to each calendar... not the case with the phone trying to remove entries. Please help... Thank you!

If you look at the calendar by default device, you have all of the listed files?

  • Synchronization of calendar blackBerry Smartphones from outlook to Pearl

used to synchronize my outlook (wired) calendar to my Pearl.  synchronization of contacts is very well.

    I had this problem once before;

where in your handheld can change you the setting for the calendar?

    or other solutions, thank you,

If you encounter errors in your calendar on your BlackBerry and you want to delete the entire database of calendar on your BlackBerry, follow the instructions below. Make sure that you have a good copy of your calendar or Contacts, because this procedure will delete all entries in calendar on your BlackBerry.

    1. open the Desktop Manager on your PC.

    2. open Backup/Restore > advanced.

    3. in Advanced Options, you will see a split pane screen. The left pane, it is what will be saved from your device, and the right is a list of the existing databases.

    3. highlight on the side right your Calendar database, and then click the arrow in the Middle pointing to the left. This will copy the information on and prepare it for the backup.

    4. once the backup is complete, click on the Clear button down to wipe and clean all the basis of the calendar.

    5. once it is finished, it will ask if you want to save the backup that you created, say you Yes and check the device to ensure that the calendar has been duly authorized to come out. Now, Resync the necessary contact details and you should be set to go.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones keeping old calendar events in Outlook and Storm2

Is there a way to keep all appointments, regardless of age on Outlook and my Storm2?

Just got my Storm2.  Downloaded/installed the latest office software.  Allowed to update the Storm2 OS via USB, the desktop software.  Desktop software configured to synchronize my Outlook 2003 (no Exchange involved, only local server).  I tried all the dates on the calendar (including former appointments, etc) to be both Outlook and the Storm2. On the first synchronization, all the calendar events appeared to transfer fine from Outlook to the Storm2.  However, on subsequent synchronizations, the desktop software apparently wants to delete all appointments of old (about 2 200) in Outlook.

    Here are the details:

    Phone: Storm2 9550
    OS phone: V 5.0.0.71 3

BlackBerry Desktop Software: 6.0.0.40 (Bundle 42)
    BlackBerry Device Manager: 6.0.0.11
    BBDevMgr: 4.1.0.14
    RIM USB driver: 4.1.0.4
    RIM USB Serial Driver: 2.2.0.3
    Application loader: 6.0.0.36

    PC:
    Windows XP Pro SP3
    MS Outlook: 2003 SP3

P.S. I'm new in these here.  Should I post this question in another forum?

For good measure, I did a hard reset on the Storm2 after changing the option «forever» you described. Then I did a synchronization one-way calendar to recover older events calendar on the Storm2.  When I've reconfigured the synchronization two-way calendar, I also did "Remove alarm for items being passed" has not been checked.   So far so good

    Thank you very much.
