Hi and welcome to the forums!

Go to main media on the curve

Menu key, select Explorer. Select where

you put the files, the card carrier or device memory.

Click Show hidden to search a directory.

If you have hidden files, go to each directory click on it to enter, and

then menu key, hidden.

I said yes and the file shown as having been downloaded on the map of support, but now I can't find anywhere. Where at - it go? Try to find:

    In windows:

    • The keypad of the device
    • Connect the device to the computer via the USB cable
    • Media-card visible as a removable drive
    • Check the folder: Blackberry\Ringtones

    Feature:

    • Click the "Media".
    • Select the "Ringtones" icon, but don't open it
    • Open the menu on "Ringtones" icon and select "explore".
    • Look at the record: MediaCard/Blackberry/ringtones

    If this does not help:

Check the ringtone downloaded into the memory of the device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Newby: How to send photos?

When I try to send pictures, until is displayed a 'contacts' window that is empty.  Cannot figure out how to complete this.  Looks like I should be able to see my contact list...

You're not after what we say...

You are trying to send to a BlackBerry Messenger contact. Apparently, you do not have BlackBerry Messenger contacts. BlackBerry Messenger is a separate type of the IM app on the BlackBerry ONLY for communication between the BlackBerry users.

IF you want to send the photo, select the option to send email...

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to set personal photo as the image of the main screen?

I found once and put in place.  But I had to update my BB desktop software and when I did it wiped out my screen image and referred to the default screen.  Cannot find where to put in place again...

Open 'Media' on your device (we assume that you already have a picture in the camera), open the 'Images' icon and select an image.

Press menu on the device and select "set as home screen Image".

    That's all.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, how can I transfer photos from the map SD card in my Panasonic camera in my Blackberry "BOLD"?

I will visit China this summer to see the solar eclipse on July 22, take pictures with a Pansonic Lumix camera. It uses a standard SD memory card.

I want to transfer pictures to my Blackberry 9000 "BOLD", so I can then upload them on a blog. I won't have a computer with me. Is it possible to get a SD card reader which can connect to the USB in the Blackberry and transfer files directly in the Blackberry?

If not, is there a bluetooth solution?

Note that I tried to take the microphone out of my Blackberry SDHD card, put in an adapter and insert this in my Panasonic camera, hoping that I could store my photos directly on the micro SDHD card. It does not work. The camera is complaining with a memory card error (probably due to incompatibility between the standard SD and SDHD, I guess).

    Any ideas?

Forget the above post, I just had a cup of coffee and then realized:

    1. I think the Blackberry "BOLD" can use ordinary micro sd (and not sdhc) cards.  They come in 1 GB and 2 GB sizes with adapters for $ 5 to $ 10.

2 use a regular mic with its adapter sd card in your camera.  When you want to send photos, take the adapter to the camera, take the micro sd adapter and pop card in your phone.

  • BlackBerry smartphones finding folders?

I deleted BB maps, I went to BB and downloaded again, now I can't find where the file went?  Have downloaded as a zip.  Any help where to look?

For BBMaps, you can install it directly from your BB browser by going to mobile.blackberry.com and navigate to the folder with the Setup file.

Otherwise, you will need to download the file to your PC and unzip the ZIP file as mentioned above. Then open Desktop Manager > Application Loader and 'find' the *.alx file that is on your PC for BBMaps.

  • Browser blackBerry Smartphones Find saved queries.

    Hello!

I hope someone can help me.

    I got this message:

"You are not currently in an area that can handle the communication of data.  Therefore, the browser can't retrieve all of the web pages.

Please try again when you are in a different location, or contact your service provider if the problem persists"

And he gave me 2 options: Ok and save the request.  I clicked on save request, but now, I tried to join the saved request and I can't.

    Can someone help me, please?

You should find the saved request IN your file of main messages... have you looked there?

And of course, if the saved request has not been met, or returned to your, you won't see it in the message list.

Otherwise, open your Messages > press Menu > folders > Messages of Push browser.

I have no idea what happened, but the Flickr application was working fine as of a couple of days, and all of a sudden he stopped transfer of photos. I get an 'x' when you upload the image. The exact error is "200: error Uploading photo.»

I also deleted and reinstalled the Flickr application and always without success. I'm frustrated and I hope that someone could help me.

I use this app all the time to download BlackBerry Photos on my Flickr account.

I use a BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD" and I'm on the Rogers network.

Thank you. I send an email and will post their answer.

[EDIT] I managed to try to download the same image and finally, it worked. WTF? It was a reliable application and now it's being stupid.
