  We have a nexus switch 9504 with SUP - A installed in it.

  IOS version: NX - OS 7.0.3 (I1) 2 and we have the intention of creating more VDC in it. But in one of the release notes, I read that Nexus 9 k doesn't support multiple vdc.

  Currently, Cisco Nexus 9000 Series switches do not support several committees. All resources switch are managed in the default VDC.

  Hello, I get the alert in the image attached when trying to create my first provider VDC.  I'm under vCenter vCloud Director 5.5 and 5.5.  I thought that this error could be because I'm not a vCloud agent installed, however it seems to indicate in the above link that the vCloud agent is no longer necessary unless the host must support the creation of insulation network based vCloud (VCDNI), so I don't think that not having is not the agent is my problem.

  I don't think I even need the vCloud agent be installed as part of my image of autodeploy (please, correct me if I'm wrong).  I wonder if I need a minimum of two servers ESXi to obtain vCloud works correctly.  Could someone confirm that is two hosts are needed?

  It's a bit of work to get only the agent I would agree.  I'm not available form the places I can download from the least.

  I would take the time to install the cell full VCD if you plan this vCloud to the moire than just a quick proof of concept.

  You might be able to do something like that.  (Perhaps snapshot your VM device first in case that something breaks)

  vdc.storageCapacity.allocated;

  vdc.storageCapacity.used;

  but this code does not work in vco 5.1

  It is a new concept in 5.1 of the storage profile that gives us the storage total allocated as

  vdc.getStorageProfiles () .limit [0]

  But how we find the allocated capacity used?

  I want to route between two vapps in the Organization of two different vdc network. I found information on the guide of 5.1 admin vcloud, but it is not very clear on the external ip address of the network of the Organization of vdc.

  Example from vcloud 5.1 administration guide:

  I don't think so - as can the provider VDC (and repeatedly) on different vcenter.  If you had to make the move a solution might be to set up the new VDC and then copy each TIME, something like VCO would help with this.  But now the process is not easy.

• Satellite P70-A01D: change the drive letters after the 2nd SSD upgrade

  I think it's a generic UEFI / Win 8.1 question (not according to model).

  However, FWIW, I have a Satellite P70-A01D (bought locally here in Australia).

  I updated the OS to Win 8.1

  The P70 is supplied with a drive Bay HARD vacuum #2 - I bought a 250 GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD that I want to use as the main system disk / boot Win 8.1.

  I installed this SSD in bays #2 and from there I had no problem using the wizard of Samsun cloning software provided with the SSD (VCC 4.0) to clone my 1 TB on the SSD system.

  There are a lot of instructions from Samsun and around the web on how to clone and "substitute" of a HDD with a SSD - however there are much less when it comes to 'Add' the SSD - in the #2 Bay - while always keeping the original HDD fully functional as an additional drive.

  After execution of the cloning software, I tried just go into the settings of the UEFI on reboot and change the order of the boot drive placing the SSDS over HARD drive.

  It worked but there are obviously questions still as I had not renamed readers SSD worked as system but he was editing as D: and HARD drive was still C: and most of the system/application paths were always scheduled to access C:!

  It led to the crash and restart cycles of the Bureau (? & or explorer.exe?) and two consistent error messages:
  -"SkyDrive engine Sync host has stopped working".
  -"Host for the synchronization setting process has stopped working".

  I saw in the Control Panel-Administrative Tools-Computer Management-Online Storage-online-online right click on each drive disk management online online that I can access > however
  (a) I'm not sure if the solution I need is this simple;
  (b) nervous about change of letter on a disk while running the system; and
  (C) uncertain steps in order of evolution [IE. C: (non - sys) becomes M; D: (sys) becomes C:...

  At the moment via UEFI I'm back to working with the system on the HARD disk rather than on the SSD seems stable and without compromise of my screwing around!

  Apologies for the long post by train to make sure to include all relevant information. I think that my final goal is double win bootable 8.1 / Ubuntu 12.04 of the SSDS probably with Ubuntu on a 50 GB partition leaving 200 GB (enough?). I want to keep a slab of SSD space available for photo and video editing: +/-100 GB!

  I wondered simply assign new letters to readers, however the notes at the bottom of http://windows.microsoft.com/en-au/windows7/change-add-or-remove-a-drive-letter state:

  You cannot change a drive letter if the drive is a system partition or a boot partition.

  Suggestions please?

  I think you could try to change the letter to readers as suggested in the Microsoft article.
  Where this is not possible, try to use 3rd party such as GParted software.

  You could try changing the drive letters might start to the top of the unit using the live USB version.
  But it might be possible that your system would not initialize correctly after this change.

  So you should not forget to mark the partition as bootable.

• LM7815 and LM7915 in Multisim problem.

  LM7815 and LM7915 do not regulate maximum + 15 and -15 volts respectively when they provide to the audio amplifier.

  Here are some pictures attached.

  When my audio amplifier amplifies the input signal for us will say about 15 Vrms, bad past nothing it is.

  But when my audio amplifier amplifies the signal above 15 Vrms, assume to clip the signal to just 15 Vrms because I provides the audio amp with only + 15V and - 15Vdc.

  However, the output reached beyond 15 Vrms brand and without distortion... but when I take a quick glance at the oscilloscope in the LM7815 and LM7915 output voltages, as you can see in the attached images, it got weirder.

  What is the problem because I thought that he should cut off in the Vrms maximum 15...
  In the real world, this will happen?

  Instead of weighting maximum + 15V and-15 Volts by the LM7815 and ICs LM7915, it got as 29 + VCC with odd ripples...

  Of course, in the real world, this wouldn't happen. The LM358 is a standard op-amp and cannot output beyond the rail. In fact, clipping probably happen to +/-13... 15V since this op amp can completely switch to the supply rails. Voltage regulators never go beyond their rated voltage, except when they are broken.

  I think there are some excesses in the simulation. It seems that the voltage regulators is no longer regulate anything. The ripple that see you has periods of approx.  10ms. what you see here is the ripple of the output of the rectifier (100 Hz). But I have no idea why the simulation change the supply voltage and behaves as if the regulators were bypassed. In addition, in the real world, the LM358 would not resist +/-29VDC on the power pins, I think that it is rated to +/-maximum 18VDC.

  As a sidenote, I would say without going through the capacitors on the supply terminals of the op amp. Usually 10uF electrolytic + 100nF ceramic is a good choice, they should be placed as close as possible to the power (with the closest small capacitor) pins and must be connected directly on the rail of the MASS of the operational amplifier circuit.

  I am designing a circuit and trying to the NI PCI-MIO-16-1 & NI PCI-6070E DAQ from the interface and the SCB-68 to my small circuit. The outputs are 0 (low) to 5 (high) Vcc. I underdstand the NI PCI-MIO-16-1 & NI PCI-6070E are identical regarding the outputs Digital 5 volts? Also the current will be enough to light an LED on a PS2501-4 or an Octocoupler of 4N38? If this is not the case, what I need to do to amplify the current. Or if you have any suggestions on the resistances, capacitiors, etc. Please let me know. Thank you!!

  You are right in your way of thinking! From a source of 5 volts, resistance of 500 ohms in series with your LED will provide enough drive in math class of ohm's law you have already provided.

• To the i/o pinout for USRP-294XR?

  Does anyone have a pinout of the connector to THE e/s (D - Sub 15-pin) on the USRP-2942R?  Probably the variable FPGA to the e/s corresponds to the correct PIN number?  Is there land there pins? Only 11 of the 15 pins are used in the FPGA of e/s (see photo below), it seems.  Anyone has any ideas on this type of filtering of these pins see? Trying to get an idea of the time of ascent/descent.  Maybe I'm missing something, but none of this info is in the notebook of charges, manuals, or other documentation that I can find.

• PCIe-6320 sees no encoder

  I'm putting in place the PCIe-6320 with two rotary encoders for measuring position.

  I wired to the top of my encoder (double quadrature with A, B, Z, V + and Gnd son) to my DAQ PCIe-6320 through a block of connection SCB-68. I used the source of external power supply for the encoder so all I am connected, it was channels A, B and Z I checked my wiring. Counter 0 uses 37, 45 and 3 pins.

  When I connect it, there are a few problems: measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), I go to the counter function test and it does not register. Using a multimeter, when the encoder is not connected I get some sort of output of three strings. But once I connect it to data acquisition, I get nothing.

  The works of automatic test in the MAX software and calibration seems to go successfully.

  What could be the problem here? Is it possible that data acquisition is broken, even if it passes the self test?

  I think I know what is happening. The outputs are open collector, then you may need to pull up resistors. See page 9 (page 7 in characters) in the pdf file:

  Since you are using an external power supply, instead of the end of the resistance of your + VCC (6 volts in your case) you will need to connect it to the output + 5 which is probably available on your data acquisition card. This will ensure that the output does not exceed levels TTL (5V). You then bind the town or the mass of your power of 6V to digital DRM to your data acquisition card.

  DAQmx are pilots and vi for the material. If you have MAX, you can check presence and version of data acquisition in the software listing in MAX.

  How to use read the spreadsheet file to read in the text files with different possible delimiters?  Some use tabs, some use a single space, some use a variable number of spaces, some use commas.  (I don't know how many elements there are in each line.  approach of Altenbach 2006 includes a number of elements on each line).  Thank you.

  Read a line from the file with low-level file functions.  He's looking for the tabs.  If any are found, read the file with the spreadsheet of the reading by a tab delimiter.  If no tabs are found in the first line, read use 'space' as the delimiter with the Read function.  If there are other possible delimiters, it takes a more complex search, but the same principle can be extended.
