Problems:

1. for some reason, I can't see most of my friends Avatar. They cannot see mine either. It is almost 3 weeks now. Only less of 10 people to contact my BBM.

2 when I have a chat with my friends, is only activated without bearings D and R. BBM friend shows that those who score very well (we are in the same operator).

3. the most funny thing, now I can't have a conversation with my auto added as a contact. BB from my friend who can do just fine...

4. backup of the BBM remotely always showing "Please Try again later." "You're currently being registered with the BBM Service." I can't restore my contacts like this...

5. I currently have 4 BBM groups. 90% of the time, the BBM application does not show the Group tab. They just disappeared. Even if I still can receive notification that my friend downloads/comments a picture in these groups.

6. the software of BBM surveys eating so much CPU usage. Near 11hours per day.

I have to complain twice to my operator, they said I have to wait 3x24hours. But it makes no difference at all.

Any help will be appreciated...

You have exhausted all the options I can think.  You can call RIM at 1-877-255-2377 to see if something can be done.

    You need to talk to your operator so that not only the account of the BIS are removed, but also that they remove completely the existence of the @bb e-mail account.

    I installed mara tick and somehow it deleted Documents to go, but only the excel part!  I really needed that's half the reason I bought the BB.  How can I put leaves for backwards.  Plase help!

    In fact, you don't have to remove the prior DocumentsToGo application; just open WordToGo, register again the application and upgrade to the latest version, which will get your SheetsToGo installed back.

    THEN, the next time you are ready to use the application loader in the DM again (to add an application or the OS upgrade), FIRST, search your PC for the DocumentsToGo.alx file and delete it, all instances of this file.

    Engage with the application loader.

    In fact, I suspect that you use the same BB ID and not the same PIN. When the same BB ID is used on multiple devices, results exactly as you describe can happen.

    If you know the other person, you can chat with them and decide which of you will go through the painful process needed to remedy this situation:

    Who's going to do will have to do a complete device WIPE. To prepare, backups are necessary... See the link in my signature on this post to know... you'll need it all. You may also need a list of all your BBM contacts... If you're on BBM7, there is no way to condone those to restore after you are done as they are attached to your BBID, not your BB. If you are on pre-BBM7, then you can save and restore them. Otherwise, it will be a process of re-entry manual.

    Try this KB:

    Or you can try to reinstall BBM, do that first remove all existing versions of BBM options > device > application > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list. When reboot its perform another traction battery by removing the battery while your unit is powered.

    Finally, after rebooting your BlackBerry browser go to www.blackberry.com/bbm and download the latest version available for your device.

    Try it and see if that helps.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 BBM group does not

    I hope this gets corrected when 10.1 comes out there, but in the meantime...

    There are two other members of the family with blackberries, so we thought that we would introduce a family bbm group to communicate more easily. Except, I can't join the group we did. We tried both get my phone to join an existing group (which seems never to receive the invitation for) and the creation of a new group (where the phone tells me that I have reached my maximum of bbm groups... but I have no groups, at all)

    BBM seems to be buggy in general for me, ranging from being extremely slow access directly from the app (no), alert and an update when it is has that anything listed in the tab "update". It has also extended the screen in the hub when I tried switching landscape (although it is attached in a few seconds).

    Can anyone give me a suggestion on what to do? Please let me know if Miss me crucial information.

    I do not know 10.1 upgrade can fix it. While you wait for it, I solved my problem by joining the beta program of BBM Channel! Which upgrades my BBM client and it works without problems since then.

    That's weird... and sorta silly as all would complain.

    Try this... Make sure that your mobile account has indeed the BlackBerry data plan on it with Vodacom.

    • And on your device, you can delete BBM in the applications list (Options > Advanced > Applications, find and delete).
    • Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones / WLM / BBM on WiFi

    Just bought my first BB, Bold 9700 at Wind Mobile.  I would like to know if it is possible to run WLM, BBM and/or e-mail (not BES) access without a data plan and how I can do this.

    Specifications are:

    1. currently with FIDO without a data plan (I asked to block access to data for the moment)

    2. pending for the code of the RIM so I can't unlock the Bold 9700

    3. has bought a 3 G SIM Fido handset which I use my Sony phone for now

    4. in vain tried to activate my IMEI with Blackberry (I guess I must do this and BB Messenger can work with BIS) after asking Fido to register IMEI on their network

    After I unlock BB and insert my 3G FIDO SIM, I'll be able to run WLM, BBM, or access to non - BES emails?

    I tried to register my phone via Blackberry as a Fido service my IMEI & pin, but she would not cross even if I asked FIDO to save my IMEI on their network.  Any ideas?  The phone has not been unlocked yet?   What I'm missing here?

    Hi everyone, I just lost my cherry Blackberry today. I am the proud owner of the Curve 8900 and could not tell how much I love him. My previous T-Mobile G1 has nothing on this phone.

    In any case, here's my problem. I have two icons on my homescreen, the 1st is an envelope and the 2nd is an envelope with a globe in it. On the first envelope, I get my text, sms, mms AND gmail, a 2nd (envelope with globe) I only have my gmail. Is it possible to separate them so this icon of an envelope is only for text messages sms & mms and one strictly for my email only?

    I'm having a really hard time finding it.

    The envelope is the main e-mail folder, and the envelope with globe is the specific folder for each e-mail account.

    To separate the e-mails and SMS follow this

    Go to the folder of main messages, press menu (the BlackBerry key logo), options, General options, SMS and Email Inboxes change to separate.

    I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

    If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

    But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

    Check the steps below for OS - upgrade

    Users can perform a full or selective data backup by using the tool of backup and restore in BlackBerry Desktop Manager using the following steps:

    1. Connect the BlackBerry device to the computer that is running BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    3. Double-click on the backup and restore.
    4. Select backup to perform a full backup or select Advanced to make a backup of specific databases.
    5. Choose a location to save the backup file, and then click Save.

    Step #4

    To perform a clean installation of the BlackBerry Device Software, do the following:

    1. Connect the BlackBerry smartphone to the computer and open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    2. Double-click The Application Loader icon.
    3. Click Next to start the installation process.
    4. Type your BlackBerry smartphone password, if prompted, and then click OK.
    5. Click on the checkboxes corresponding to the names of the applications you want to load, and then click Next.
    6. Click Advancedand then click the check box next to delete all already installed applications.
    7. Click on Next.
    8. Click the check box next to do not automatically back up the application during the process of loading data.
    9. Clear the check box next to the backup and restore applications installed wireless.
    10. Click Next > Finish.
    11. Once the process is complete, the load succeeded message. Click close to return to BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

    I'm relatively new to the whole community of smartphone, and I fear I actually broke my Blackberry!

    I noticed that e softwareupdated was available for my Blackberry, so I chose to download it. The problem is my phone kept freezing in the process, and I was getting a little impatient. Finally, my phone told me that there was not enough memory, so I should delete some applications to make room. So I selected a few to remove, and my phone froze AGAIN. Now, if at all, it has frozen or not, I'm not sure... Maybe I'm too impatient for the life of a smartphone.

    In any case, I decided to take out the battery to reset the phone, I have grown really tired and has to work in the morning, I so wanted to just turn my phone and turn it on again, put my wake up and go to sleep. As I just re - turn the phone on, it starts to load up as it usually does, then a screen appears:

    "Blackberry 5.0.0.496 platform.

    Then it lists a whole bunch of items in the phone, in alphabetical order, the first being "Addressbook."

    Then, in seconds, the screen goes all white and a small message will appear "Error App 606" and it gives me the only option of resetting my phone. I click on reset, and it's a cycle... The phone seems to be loading as it normally would, and then he'll come back to this screen of the Blackberry platform, then the App error 606.

    I ring my network provider in the morning to see if they can help me, but I was wondering if anyone of you here would know about this at all? I feel so stupid for the cause!

    If your device is not detected so you had to force the detection of your device by using the Application Loader. But remember in this process you will lose all data on your device, I hope you have your backup device, follow this Knowledge Base to recover your device:
