BlackBerry Smartphones home screen: how to get all emails to a folder?

I must be looking too hard for what should be a simple answer, there are currently 3 icons on the homescreen different email, one for each email address I have.  (this does not include my sms & icons FB msg)  How can I get all the emails to go to a single rather than a separate icon for each folder?

Thank you

Dave in State of WA

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

If your device OS has the possibility, you can dictate what shows in Messages:

  • Home screen > Messages > > Options > (main Message list settings) (settings of the Inbox) or > check / uncheck what you want to see the/remove messages

You will always have the secondary icons, but you can hide them and manage simply all email through the main Messages app.

Good luck!

    I lost my messages, e-mail messages, applications of volume control on my homescreen. I pressed menu and they are gone as well.

    On your home screen, press Menu > SHOW ALL and make these icons have been hidden, or accidentally moved to a folder. Check them all.

    If still nothing, go to options > advanced > Houst Routing Table > Menu > register.

    With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    1. Start the smartphone Safe Mode - see KB17877for instructions.
    2. On the smartphone home screen, go to Options > Applications (depending on the theme, there may be settings > Options > Applications).
    3. Select the theme that you think is suspended to the device, press the Menu key, then select Remove.

  • The blackBerry Smartphones home screen icons

    Hi all! Just, I got my curve last week and have not quite thought about it yet. Somehow, I managed to remove the Contacts from my home screen icon and don't know how to get it back. It's not hidden (I tried), so I don't know where he went. Any ideas? Thank you

    That's what I just tried and the address book came under a different theme. I ended up restoring my defaults theme, and she came back to the top. Now, I just reset everything I had. Thank you very much!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Yellow Pages - how to get back my blackberry browser

    Hello

    For some reason any my Blackberry (9000 with Telstra 3 G Australia) when I clicked on the Internet browser is now default Yellow Pages he used will be defined on the Blackberry browser option. With this Blackberry connection it detects my network domestic wi - fi and use wi - fi before using the Blackberry internet browser option.

    I see that the wi - fi option is set to automatic and that it has detected my home wi - fi, but it connects to him when I press on the Web browser. It seems to go directly to this Yellow Pages browser option.

    My browser has NOW the following

    * Hotspot Login

    * Yellow pages

    * Telstra business portal

    It USED to have

    * Hotspot Login

    * Blackberry (something or rather)

    * Telstra business portal

    I want to know is how to fix my Blackberry browser the option back and get rid of this thing of yellow pages?

    Thank you

    HiOzBBerry42

    I spent all day until now talk to Telstra who weren't able to help me, they put me in support of the RIM. I just got on a conference call with RIM and Telstra.

    Apparently, Telstra did change the name of the browser to the Yellow Pages with mobile. yellow pages as home page. Telstra work with RIM to find how to change the name of the browser Internet browser. Phew... what a day.

    Now, we should just work if the change that Telstra has decided to do is also the cause of why my "BOLD" will pick up my house WI-FI, but does not connect to the to use when I go in the browser (as it usually don't do any problems before they changed the name).

  • The blackBerry Smartphones home screen icons disappeared

    Help!  I used to have a row of icons at the bottom of the home screen, but somehow, they're all gone and now only come when you go in all.

    It was the top row of icons that I use all the time.

    How returning to show all the time?

    Use universal search, enter in the options. Go to the home screen preferences, display.  You can change there too.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones home screen

    Is it possible to change the screen IE homepage add additional icons and remove icons. It is not for the home screen Menu screen for any help thanks. For example there are 6 icons on the screen at the bottom of which I use some and not the others I would get the most useful on the thank you screen.

    In the form of Applications (with ALL the icons of the screen), you will notice that the SUPERIOR of the icons row reflects those in zen (or line) theme. To move an icon that you want to be on a single line screen, highlight it, then press Menu (the button left of the trackball), and then click MOVE. Then, scroll to the icon up to the top line. And another, until you have the top line, the value you want.

  • Appearance on the blackBerry Smartphone home screen

    I had my 9800 Torch for a week after the upgrade to a Bold 9700. I'm happy with the upgrade.

    When I performed various tasks I could press "ALL" and all the icons on the screen of the main menu would drop down. Done away with only a small face toward the triangle top remains lower support and reopen the home screen icons.

    Yesterday, I downloaded some music files mp3 from my computer on the torch. The torch is very limited with sound selections (ringtones) compared to the "BOLD". Now the phones all THE menu does not disappear completely as previously. I have now my desktop wallpaper selected and 4 icons (SMS, email, etc.) on the bottom row.

    I know it's a minor detail but ALL icons disappear with only a rise done triangle was a nice feature, allowing a full view of my wallpaper on the phone.

    I just spent 3 hours trying various procedures and passing by more than 300 pages of the manual. Any comments or solutions are appreciated. I tried to restore from backup without success.
    6.0 bundle 695 (v6.0.0.246) platform 6.4.0.105 running. Thank you.

    Press and drag the bar at the top of the icons - you can drag upward (and get 1, 2, or 3 lines of icons) or downwards (and to make the icons).

  • Sprint - 8703e - blackBerry Smartphones home screen shows an incorrect date

    I have a user who has model 8703e and the top of the screen shows the day only on Sunday, October 5, but the date and the time on the device is properly defined as Monday, October 6, 2008.  The email message folder displays the day as October 6 and timestamps on e-mail messages are correct as well.

    Does anyone know how the start date would be incorrect then the device time is correct?

    Thank you

    Matt

    I solved the problem.  I saw an article on the website of BB Technology Solutions, KB03452, which says change the time zone, save, and then reset back.  So I did and it fixes the time of the home screen to display the date and time of today.

    Thank you

    Matt

  • Misfortunes of blackBerry Smartphones home screen

    I have recently the 8820 with Orange in the United Kingdom.

    I love the phone and it does... I have a question that I can't understand.

    I was sent 2 SMS messages by someone that I deleted. There is no trace of them in a folder, but they always show on my home screen.

    And now to add to my pain, a received email was deleted but the homescreen seems to suggest that I have a new e-mail that I can't find.

    I tried resetting the firewall County, but it did not work...

    Thanks in advance.

    I deleted these before pulling on the battery for 5-10 minutes.  Not funny, but it seems to work.
