  You can use a program like Photoshop, Gimp to do. Most graphics programs come with some sort of compression software.

  You transfer on the device memory or a media card? If they are on a media card, them they don't are not recorded in the memory of the device and you wouldn't have to worry about their compression

  what you can do today without a data plan is:

  • make/receive phone calls
  • Send/receive SMS
  • use the PDA of the BlackBerry functions
  • sync contacts/calendar with your Office Manager of personal information (Outlook of Lotus).

  exclusion of all other features such as the web, MMS, BBM.

  If you send them a message and there is a Red X, it means that they do not have the Blackberry Service. But if it gives you just a box, i.e. There is no installed BBM, phone off or no signal. And if you receive a check with "D" or "R" which means that the phone has installed on Blackberry and BBM data Plan assets. D means Delivered and R is synonym of reading.

  I have a Blackberry Bold 9930 software: v7.1.0.1066

  I can't understand how to send photos or video via a text message.  Can I receive, and I know that my service allows me to send it, because I had my parents added to my plan (AT & T family plan) and they can also send photos with their phones from wal-mart for $10.  Whenever I have search the Internet how to do this, they show screen phone calls with the menu that lists several options for how send a photo, and one of them is text.  My phone does not have this option if, whenever I hit send on a picture my only three options are e-mail, bluetooth and Tag (don't know exactly what it is, but when you select it says to place the back of the two phones together, is not an option in SMS language).  In addition, nowhere in my menu when composing a text find an option to add attachments. so I can send them this way or the other.

  HA, had fixed after only on the hour on the phone being bounced back from AT & T BlackBerry and vice versa. For anyone who purchases a phone off of the internet (ebay), even if it is new, it can be registered by a dealer or a supplier that offers no MMS messages and they will be blocked and do not come even to the top as an option on your phone.   I had to wipe my curve over the weekend, and before that I did, I transferred files (pictures and ringtones) on my desk.  Now, I can't get back them on the curve!  What I am doing wrong?  Obviously, I have a ton more photos and mp3 files on my computer that did not need to be transferred, but when I click "receive using bluetooth", I don't know how to refer the file to the desktop I want transferred back.  Help!

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) Remove and return Service books

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider to support formal... consider that you pay for your services and official support and now they seem not to be to deliver. They have even the power to escalate your case officially until BlackBerry if they can't solve it, but you have does them not you fob off the coast with things like "it seems" good on our end... they are responsible for the provision of services to you, you pay for it.
