BlackBerry smartphones install bb desktop pc

Hello.

The end of the installation system gives me a message and fell down.

Any ideas? THX.

It's better... Thank you (of course, I count on your translation!). I can't find anything about in the public KB except a BES associated:

  • KB27547 New BlackBerry Enterprise Server 5.0 SP3 installation fails with the error "Microsoft SQL Server Native Client installation failed".

But the same question is perhaps the cause - Windows updates?

Good luck!

  • Switching devices blackBerry Smartphones using the Desktop Manager

I just got my Torch 9800 replacement since my first only the battery was drainning (apparently a common problem).

Until I returned my old Torch 9800 I backed up and also used the device switch option in Desktop Manager. When it asked me to connect the new device, I unplugged the old camera, he took to the shop orange and then plugged my new camera.

Then an error has occurred and asked me to update the software on the new device. I did it... and then when I use switching devices, it asks me to connect the current device but the problem is... I don't have the camera more.

As I backed up all the data, I did a restore. He restored most of the data, but it has not restored my apps.

Any idea on how I can do?

I hope it is interesting all that.... and I get a better battery life this time!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

Ah... never mind. While the device switch Wizard can indeed move a few apps, the backup/restore process does not have applications. So, in the State you are in, you must go to the source of your applications and re - get them. If you by AppWorld, the process is very smooth:

    • KB17625 How to install or transfer has already purchased apps from BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry smartphone

If you have from other sources, then you should see if these sources are a simple way for you. I hope you have good record of all your activation keys... and some will indeed have to be regenerated some developers to attach the key on the BB SPINDLE, which is now different since you have a new device.

    Good luck!

    Yes, about an hour.

Use the BlackBerry Desktop Software on your computer, make a backup of your BlackBerry smartphone, first.

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the Forums of Support BlackBerry.com.

Step 1: You have installed Desktop Manager by using the option "Desktop Redirector".

If you are not using redirector, you must uninstall Desktop Manager, and then reinstall it using the BlackBerry Internet Service option.

Step 2: On your device, go to: Options > Advanced > maintenance book and remove any service books for [office]

  • BlackBerry Smartphones installed East Asian input language, but may not use it

    Hello world

I met a strange thing. My goal was to install and use Simplified Chinese input to write in simplified Chinese. I followed the instructions given ony various websites. I downloaded via this site http://us.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html the 9900jAllLang_PBr7.1.0_rel1149_PL5.1.0.276_A7.1.0.342.exe file (file size: > 260MO) and managed to install it. Everything seemed fine.

Alas, after a successful installation, I still can't select Chinese simplified as an input language. I suspect it's because as simplified Chinese (and btw also Japanese and Korean, which are not selectable) application for entry is version 6.0, while the languages selectable as input language version 7.1!

All European languages in the upper screenshot as well as Hindi and Vietnamese are selectable and I guess that's just because they also have version 7.1. As the package I downloaded is widely considered to be the most recent, I wonder why the Chinese, Korean and Japanese are the only version 6.0.

How can I solve this problem? Is it possible to choose language of entry of a lower version? Or is it possible to update the version of input language?

    Thank you very much

    Markus

Hello and welcome to the community!

To be clear... the screenshots you provided the second shows all these 6.0 languages as "Installed", which means, with respect to all software/OS Desktop, they are installed in your BB. So is what you're saying that, on your BB itself, even if they show in the Desktop software installed, you can not select to use them on your BB itself? It is indeed strange, if this is the case... and your suspicions may be correct.

To fix this, my advice is to find a version more recent operating system package... I am running for my BB, 7.1.0.523 model, and it shows them all as 7.1 and not 6.0 (although I don't have installed them to my BB, but they are available).

So I would guess that your suspicion is correct, but a newer OS 7.1 package may hold the cure you need. You should consult, via the official download portal, a new package of OS 7.1 to your BB model. In our "BOLD" forum there is a sticky thread that lists all businesses of the 9900:

You can use it as a reference to then navigate the official download portal:

Xandrex trying to keep this sticky thread updated, but lately has been able to... it is therefore not currently useful in determining the exact OS levels that each carrier support 9900 is on... but at least it narrows down the list of carriers to seek through the download portal, so it is useful for that at least.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot DOWNLOAD DESKTOP SOFTWARE

I have problems to download the blackberry desktop software (v4.2) that allows me to get the prompt to run save or cancel, but no matter what I do, it does nothing. Can anyone help?

    I would do the following:

Use this link to uninstall the current DM

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB02206&sliceId=SAL_Pub...

Download DM 4.5 without Media manager. MM is very unstable:

    Download USB drivers for 4.5

BlackBerry USB and Modem ENG pilots (DM4.5 B13)

    • Download Software

    Here is the Manual:

    First install the USB drivers.

Install 4.5 with these considerations of Vista:

    1. right click on command prompt in the Start Menu and choose Run as administrator
    2. navigate to C:\Program Motion\Blackberry\IS71 Connectors\MS Outlook Connector search by typing: c:\ > CD program Research in motion\blackberry\is71 connectors\ms outlook connector

    3. type in the command prompt, type: regsvr32 MsOutlookConnector.fil

    4. If the registration is successful, you receive the following message:
    DllRegisterSErver in successful msoutlookconnector.fil.
    5. close and open Blackberry Desktop Manager to perform the synchronization process again and Outlook will be in the list...

If you receive the error message that DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005 - you don't have administrator rights. Therefore, it is important that you run as administrator command prompt.

  • BlackBerry smartphones installed upgrading to 4.5 on device

On my Curve 8320, I get an almost constant hourglass. Blackberry, KD 10307 technical solutions, I decided to reinstall the operating system. I currently have 4.2.2.180 (Platform 2.5.0.36) on my device. On the site of my provider, T-Mobile, I downloaded the device software 4.5.0.81.exe. I also downloaded the latest desktop manager they had, 4.6.0.14.

I have followed all the instructions and run the Setup program on the 4.5.0.81.exe and the installation wizard tells me he had put in place. But the Director of office did not open automatically and I can't seem to install. The section of requests to update in the Desktop Manager application loader section tells me I'm completely up to date and that no new applications can be found. I can't load it manually, since it puts in Windows as an .exe file and not as an application loader file. I have to miss an easy step here. I tried the things I found in the forums and technical support, such as a restart. Can someone help me? Thank you very much.

    Bob

    1. download and install the latest version of the desktop PC Manager

2 download the new OS you want and install it on the PC

    3. open the Desktop Manager and do a full backup of your current device.

    4 delete the vendor.xml file located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader

(#4 is optional if you are installing an operating system that is downloaded by the carrier to which your device is brand).

    5. plug in the BB and open the Desktop Manager

    6. Select Application Loader

    7. you will be prompted to upgrade

  • BlackBerry Smartphones installed DM6, previous version remains

Hello. At the risk of asking a stupid question, I installed DM6 yesterday and was surprised to find that it has not replaced the previous version. The old version is still there and the device. Is there a reason I should keep it, or do I just uninstall it?

Also, this is normal behavior, or something weird on my particular installation?

    Thank you for the ideas!

    Hello

Yes, you can go ahead and uninstall the old version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software on your computer.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Intellisync in Desktop Manager

Recently, I installed Desktop Manager to my Pearl 8110. I have tried to sync my e-mail folders and messages sent to my MS Outlook, but could not find the option to do so. I studied the possibility of finding a reconciliation wireless through personal e-mails and found that I can not do this. Please correct me if I am wrong on this point. My BB account and electronic mail are configured as follows:

1 MS Outlook 2007 in MS XP Pro

    2. personal e-mail account set up with a GoDaddy domain name that is received at my office via Outlook.

I bought this phone because of the option to receive email on the move and did not buy the iPhone.

You could BCC yourself on any sent by emails to BB and then create a filter in your carrier BIS account do NOT send to your handheld, Yes. AND to define a filter in Outlook for those of you carry in a certain folder in outlook.

  • BlackBerry smartphones install Applications on Blackberry 7.1

Does anyone have an idea if there is an option to install apps on external memory card using blackberry 7.1 (Blackberry Curve 9320) instead of their installation on the internal memory which is very poor (only 512 MB).

    Hello amietmadan

When we install games or theme, they will be stored on your device memory no media card. You can install themes on your device it will not take much space and for games, I prefer to install just the ones you want because our device needs space to run properly.

My PC and Blackberry Desktop Manager do not detect my 8520 phone when connected to my PC.  I tried all the suggestions for example remove/replace battery and reinstall the desktop software. But when I look under Ports, in my device manager there are two entrances: -.
