  Yes, I think, os 5.0.0.5xx - 7.0.0.xx cannot display message on the lock screen if pasword not set.

  I'm new to blackberry and love it.  I miss having my calendar on my home screen.  Is there a way to customize the home screen?  I would like to see the upcoming calendar events and shortcuts to all the things that I use on a regular basis instead of just 6 things on the bottom.  Thanks in advance!   You need a 'Today' theme of your device.

  Check the AppWorld or Mobihand.com or one of the many theme developers.

• Adobe Captivate 5 is frozen on the loading screen

  I recently discovered a problem with Captivate 5, which I'm running on Windows 7 (64-bit). When I run the software both normally or as an administrator, Captivate 5 reached the 'splash' loading screen and then hangs at this point do not allow me in the software.

  This has not happened before and I tried the usual uninstall and reinstall but same problem continues to surface. I recently delete some of my "App Data" on my C drive by means of: C > users > xxxxxx > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > but it was in the folder Adobe Premiere so obviously this should not have any impact in the installation of Captivate and other that that I did not anything out of the ordinary and I see not what could be the cause of the problem.

  Any tips or ideas?

  Problem solved - http://forums.adobe.com/message/3681413#3681413 - some fonts were in conflict with the process of loading fonts Captivate on screen loading and removing recently installed 'fonts"the fonts in my file using Font Frenzy , this helped Captivate work normally.

  I have been using my storm for almost a month now... love it!  But 2 days ago the keyboard started to appear on the start screen.  It is stuck on the screen and I can't seem to remove.  It covers most of the short view of applications.  I can't get disappear when I go to view the complete application menu.  It becomes very annoying... any suggestions on how to get rid of this?

  Just activated two days ago, no problem until this morning. Trackball is completely insensitive to the home screen. After pressing the menu button, it works fine on the biggest application menu.

  Clicking nor scrolling work.

  Thoughts?

  My keyboard is still open when I'm on the main screen. When I press the BB button it does not open a menu to hide the key board, instead it just goes to the screen next where are other applications and download buttons etc.

  I came across a strange icon.  It's on the screen main (I use the theme today) and it is just above the Messages, at the same level than where it shows the icon of unread messages, but it is more toward the Center, while the icon of unread messages is left a little.

  It is a number (1), and next to it is a thing to emoticon smiley face with a red star, replacing one of his eyes. It's almost as if he said to me an I a something (so the number one next to him), but I don't know what 'it' is, and it's as if there's a chance that I'll have more of them.

  Anyone know what it is?

  recently received a blackberry bold 9700 as a gift. noticed that a very small icon appears near the upper left-hand corner of the screen. looks like a box or a Briefcase with a red circle on the upper right corner of the icon, with a White Star or an arrow inside. its too small to say with certainty.   Open discussion group, chat, photos, list, calendar, etc., or something has been updated with a new message or such.

  The icon should then clear. This icon that has the form of a suitcase is a discussion group icon.

  Hi and welcome to the forums!

  Go to messages, menu button, display folder

  Look in each folder, including the browser Messages

  and WAP push messages. Delete messages

  and the icon should disappear.

  Unfortunately there is no combination of keys to call up the menu on the screen.

  Menu can be called only through click wheel.

  It is a function of the theme. As a new device, new themes slow developing.
