    When I run the listing via the office of accreditation, the total memory used (added by me) is 66.1 MB more 3693 KB.  This is based on the memory that the listing of the ap said that picks up every application.  So about 70 MB total.

    Says memory device total ap is 124 MB.  This means that I should have about 54 MB of available space?  Unless I'm missing something?

    But the device lists available ap as only 19 MB memory (immediately upon restart after pressing the battery)

    I could not install the last update (or rather the last one I tried updating, perhaps there was more since, I do not know) because it says that I need 33 MB to do.

    First of all, don't try to do the math of memory on the device - used application space, because the math won't never worked that you think he could. Extra space is used by the application data third ECT is not counted in your totals, as well the browser cache and the media map caches and other things.

    OS 6 seems to use a much larger portion of the allocation of phone memory. With a modest set of applications and the removal of the games not used, etc. I have a basic level of about 40 MB, even if use.     I just downloaded the new software for device for my Curve 8300 (v 4.5.0.110) and now my battery lasts only a few hours and if I'm on the phone for more than 7 or 8 minutes its starts buzzing (such as static) then the phone just stops.     You have the most recent of ATT, which is quite old already regarding the release builds.

    The one I linked to is from another carrier, and if you follow this link, you will be fine. Always make a backup of your BlackBerry device in the first place, using the Desktop Manager.

    Anyway,.110 release wasn't a draining battery, you use probably a few apps in the background this need to fence.

    To do this: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

    Now load the device completely to 100% and keep an eye on the drain of the battery over the next day.

    With respect to the frequency of the rings, the fact that you are now running on another network shouldn't matter.  Carriers dictate how long a ring will go before going to voicemail, but except that they are all pretty much standard.

    EDIT: Well, I just visited www.crackberry.com and downloaded the Hockey Night in Canada theme (free).  It was pretty easy to do, it doesn't cost me anything, it sounds good... I guess I'm an expert on the subject now!

    Hey, I have 9000 "BOLD" and my memory of the application has never been more far than 20 MB... the only third-party applications, I installed are whatsapp copter and the module bbm. I have read several topics on it, solutions never made me over 20 MB. This is my camera go really slow, and I asked for help on this subject. So it would be a lot of help, if you could tell me how to solve this problem... friends have more than 5 applications and their device works fine...

    A miracle that I can recommend is to restart from time to time! This clears up a lot of used storage space!

    Another thing you can do, if any on the 9000, is to clear the event log, which makes your device visibly smoother.

    It seems that after following the instructions to upgrade AT & T sent me spend 4.5 everything looks great, but my max volume is down. I out max gps to hear it, play volume are much more gentle MP3 and the ring is as normal when before I could hear him all over the House. All I can find to the max value. It is a by-product of the upgrade I'm stuck with or y at - it a way to get my volume back to how it was before the upgrade? I have a 8310, the new version of the os is 4.5.110. Help!     I'm having some trouble with little memory. Earlier this evening, I tried to download an mp3 file which, it turned out, was too big to download. An hour later, I noticed that my memory was a little less 18KBs just around 13KBs - and now I get the little hourglass icon a LOT. My BB becomes very slow.

    The file I have tried to download, obviously, do not get downloaded. What is eaten up as much memory? Where at - it go? How can I get that back? I tried pulling the battery - twice.

    Any suggestions? Thank you.

    Check the device memory by going to the media, then click your Menu button and choose explore. Check under

    / Device memory/home/user of the files Foreach (Documents, music, etc.) to see if you can find one that has been downloaded.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside.
