BlackBerry Smartphones Micro SD capacity

Hello

I have a small question regarding the expansion of the memory of my 9700. I have currently a of 4G SDHC card into the slot and gets pretty full fast enough, I have a lot of music on it that I use to listen to via bluetooth to my car radio, in any case, I digress.

My question is, what is the biggest size, I can put and take advantage of? I'm planning a 16G SDHC, but can the phone use this space or is it limited? I know some of them can only really use 4 of the 16 G available with computers and she wondered if it was the same for the 9700.

Thank you in advance, a quick response would be appreciated because I would buy the card as soon as POSSIBLE, sorry if it's a bit cheeky.

Jon

He will accept a 32G and maybe more, but I don't think that there is something bigger out there yet.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Micro SD card not detected

I've recently upgraded to a 8 GB Micro SD card for my BlackBerry Curve 8310 from Micro SD 4 GB memory card.  The prior card Lexar 4 GB Micro SD worked fine and required to movies, music, pictures, etc.  However, when I've upgraded to a Kingston 8 GB Micro SD card, I have not been able to get the camera to recognize the Micro SD 8 GB card.  I have updated the software on the device to version 4.5 and I am still having problems.  I don't know if it's the brand of the chip or the chip itself which can be bad or if it's a question of BlackBerry or a software problem.  Would welcome any help to solve the problem if it is something that can be solved.  Otherwise, I'll return the chip and reinstall Micro SD 4 GB card.

    Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

The 8 GB card was not compatible with the previous device OS. A 8 GB card would only fully recognized

on the device OS 4.5. I would first reformat the card on the Blackberry now upgraded.

Use the following information to format the card and set the options correctly.

  • Map of blackBerry Smartphones media more capacity for BB Curve 8330

I read the most capacity of support for BB 8330 curve is 8 GB but I was wondering if anyone had tried any bigger maps memory capacity with any success or failure. I'd love to put all my music on my phone, but 8 GB won't hold it. I have a LOT of music. I would need at least 16 GB to get to place for all my music, photos and videos. you think of expert with everything what you Blackberry users out there think you map the right size?

would we be really use all the space on the card of maximum size?

The maximum is currently 32 GB and have done that recently the manufacturing.

for me, 8 gb was a good size, and they are reasonable price now with 16 GB available cards. It is difficult for most user fill a 8 GB card, but it is possible especially if you load movies. Music files take up very little space

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Micro USB card

So I'm having a problem with my microphone USB card. I have an ESN 8830 World Edition of Bell. I use the card to put pictures and a ringtone on the map and then put the card in my phone. I put everything etc and then when I pull the card the ringtone is not in my media files. How can I transfer the ringtone on my phone?

    goldbirds wrote:

How can I transfer the ringtone on my phone?

Go to the icon of your media > press the Menu key > Explore > Media Card > search and locate your ringtone file > press Menu > move and navigate to your RINGTONE folder on the device memory and drop it there.

Now you can remove the BlackBerry media card and I hope that if you moved it correctly, the ringtone file will be present.

Otherwise, just ring by email to yourself, open on the BlackBerry and SAVE.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones micro USB compatibility

I got a Black Berry Bold 9700 my company so I can't ask any question to my seller. I hope someone can help me.

I would buy an extra USB cable to have a cable at home and another cable to the office (especially the battery). Due to the policy of the company, we can buy accessories only from a supplier. There are several USB cable available from this provider, but one dedicated to Black Barry. The Original of this cable code is: ACODBBYMCRUSB (I don't know what that means "Original Code"). It is compatible with the following BB:

    Pearl Flip 8220

    Javelin 8520

    Curve 8900

    Storm 9500

9700 "BOLD" is not mentioned. Can someone tell me if a compatible with BB models above cable is also compatible with the Bold 9700?

More generally, is it true that the Bold 9700 USB microphone is not a standard micro USB cable? It is the shape of the plug or is related to the characteristic of the cable (impedance etc...)?

If the power plug is a standard, could someone tell me which are the characteristics of the cable so that I could buy generic provider mentioned micro USB cable. In particular, I found:

    -IC Intracom Manhattan CABLE MICRO USB 2.0 - USB 4 pin (M) - Micro-USB 5-pin - type B (M) - 1.8 m (USB/Hi-Speed USB)

This cable is suitable for BB Bold 9700?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Giona
