BlackBerry smartphones needs DESPERATE HELP!

My daughter for a year, got a hold of my phone today.  She erased ALL MY DATA.  Years of business information is gone!  My phone is locked and I expect she pushed too many buttons.

It's not his fault, but he absolutely ruined my summer and will take months to will still collect some data.

Anyone know of a way that the data can be restored once it has been deleted?

Help!

I'm sorry my friend as a Windows user, we do not have this problem. However, I remember when I used a Mac (they are awesome... sigh...), I need any Windows application, I ran under VMware Fusion. Which allows me to fill my BlackBerry to the virtual machine with Windows and by extension, the BlackBerry Desktop software.

That said, if you are ever around him, consider buying (or if you happen to have a MSDN subscription, download.) Windows and install under merger (or if possible, in parallel. Make sure that it supports devices gateways directly to the virtual machine if. I've not used at the same time yet). Then you can use the backup and make sure this kind of thing does not happen!

You can also consider to wait (well, you kind of have to now. The BlackBerry clear function does work quite well. I think it replaces the data too if I remember) until September, when the RIM has provided the release of Desktop for Mac software (link if you like: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/services/desktop/mac.jsp)

I hope it works for you!

Quick Note: you bloody sdgardne! Beat me to it! (I mean that in a kind of "friendly sarcasm" pass!) I don't want to seem like bastards forum that copy what someone else said and repeat it as their own, so just make Act)

Profiles match your phone's volume settings. So, you can modify the settings of the profile of Loud, Normal, vibrate, etc.. You can pass your parameters of profile of the main screen or the Menu of the Application.

    • From the main screen , scroll to go to your profiles
    • In your profile, scroll down and select Advanced Options
    • In the Advanced settings, you can edit each profile. Highlight the profile you want to change, such as Normal. Press the menu key, then select Edit.
    • You will then pass a list of all applications requiring a ringtone. You can change the tone, volume, etc., for each of them.
    • To change the ringtone for calls to your voice, select phone. When done editing, press menu to save your changes.
    • To change the ringtone for your text messages, select SMS text. When done editing, press menu to save your changes.

  • 9320 blackBerry smartphones needs help!

    Hi all!
I bought my first Blackberry Curve 9320 in May and I downloaded the latest software on July (version 7.1 2093), and I can't find any other version.

Now, when I try to connect my mobile on the market, he said to I need to download the latest version (even if I do it with my PC or WI - FI connection), and if I go to www.blackberry.com/appworld/support to download, it tells the of there an error (503, if I remember).

I also tried to download sent to my email address, but it does not in any case!
So the problem is that I can not connect my Blackberry to its low of PC market or even use from my mobile.

    Can someone help me?

Hello and welcome to the community!

You must uninstall all packages of BB device software from your PC. Then, install the exact OS that this BB is running on your PC:

    • KB23393 How to check the model number and the version of the BlackBerry device software on a BlackBerry smartphone

If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Then, when you run the Desktop software then connect this BB, appropriate things should appear in the AppLoader screen for her (note that, if you connect that to other BB currently displayed correctly, it does display properly since the Desktop software is substituted by the installed PC, the package of BB OS).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones needed help for my Blackberry storm 2

Hi, I need some help... I'm new to Blackberry and for Christmas had a Blackberry Storm 2, SIMFREE.

All works well wait I can't send or receive personal e-mail or MMS. I contact my network provider and spend more than 1 hour on the phone and nothing helps.

When I access internet - Blackberry internet service, it says 'Existing users' and ask you a user name and password but it will not regconsied, it says that my device is not registered at my network provider say it is, and so I'm stuck.

Also I can not send Multimedia messages or receive neither.

Remember that you pay your carrier every month for them to provide you with a quality service.

Contact them again and ask them to set up your account properly.
Once that is done, go here and create a new BIS account.

Hello and welcome to the community!

You said "hard reset", but I can't tell if you did exaclty or not... Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

In addition, you could try to start in safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

and delete the most recent thing (s) you have installed just before this problem started.

After that, it's an OS Reload try... but we're going to stay on it for the moment.

    Good luck!
    Best!

I rebooted my phone from TONS of time... is there a way to reset the phone?

It comes from occurring as you face constraints of memory in your device. The low memory manager (LMM) is activated automatically when the flash available on the BlackBerry smartphone memory decreases less than 400 KB. Flash memory is used to store such as Messages, calendar, Contacts, tasks, Notepad BlackBerry smartphone applications and third-party applications.

    Perform the following steps-

    1. Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30 sec.
    2. Check the amount of memory is free in your device to Options -> status -> free memory. To view all aspects of database go to Option -> status -> click on the Menu button and then select the database size
    3. Remove the less frequently used application. To remove go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete-> click Menu , and then select Remove
    4. If you stored your image in the memory of the device to move them to your media card

  • BlackBerry smartphones, I'm having problems with the download of Facebook AGAIN! (need desperate help!)

OK, so I deleted Facebook yesterday with the idea to reinstall later. He played a few times to the top and said: I can't reinstall it because I can restore it as it is in my archives. Whenever I try to restore it, he'd go to reinstall... in any case, I got rid of Facebook from my archives (after a few tries, to connect it to my computer and do it like that) so I will reinstall by click on reinstall, but that's the problem... Once it has downloaded, it will install again and this message is constantly "There was a problem during installation" I click OK and it is always uninstalled! It is VERY frustrating!

    Any ideas?

  • BlackBerry smartphones need help on my email account but is not a service of BB.

How can I access my email I have no bb service. I have wifi link already in the phone. How can I replace the bb? I used red pocket mobile service. Any help is appreciated. Oh btw, they give me this heap configuration that I cannot configure LOL and don't know what even the instruction button too for a girl not like me hight tech . Help, please!

As correctly mentioned knottyrope, you need a BlackBerry (or BIS of BlackBerry Internet Service) data plan fully to access your email accounts.

BIS will push notifications by e-mail on your phone if you don't have to go look for new ones.  He is also responsible to push for new posts to facebook, new tweets, etc., on your phone.  Without this, you must consult your e-mail on the web account to access, you will need to go to facebook.com to see new messages, you will need to go to twitter.com for new tweets, etc..

I hope that explains it for you.
