  I have the same problem as Marie-Claude.  Windows Messaging will check two email accounts, but the aol imap account will not send or receive, and it is my primary email address.  I have a security zone of windows asking for my username and password which will return an 800cccd91 error (I think) and the message that they are not valid.  The user name and password work fine by going directly on aol.com.  I turned off my avg antivirus mail and makes them require a secure password is not checked in the properties of the account.   I first noticed this problem yesterday after I had changed suppliers for remote access, but with aol imap is the only thing affected. My virus programs and spyware are up-to-date. I've seen several references to this same problem and the only other thing that I've seen mentioned that I did not is to remove and reinstall this account. If I do this, it removes all my emails stored under this account in windows mail?  What this has to do to my other computers running xp and outlook?  Other solutions?  Thank you

  Delete and recreate an e-mail account in Windows Mail lost all the data. You would only on the affected computer. Be sure to restart Windows Mail after deleting the account and before recreating the account.

   

  If no improvement:

  Your AVG antivirus has probably been installed with its default installation option that installs an email scanner. Just disable his e-mail analysis

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

  1) register HRT

  • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
  • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

  2) Remove and return Service books

  • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
  • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
  • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
  • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

  3) restart

  • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
  • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider to support formal... consider that you pay for your services and official support and now they seem not to be to deliver. They have even the power to escalate your case officially until BlackBerry if they can't solve it, but you have does them not you fob off the coast with things like "it seems" good on our end... they are responsible for the provision of services to you, you pay for it.

  Mail suddenly stopped, send/receive. Updated to 9.3. has worked for a little while then stopped send/receive. I changed nothing. connections to state that they are very well. I can't post to work. Got an exclamation mark in the triangle, clicked on it, got 'take all accounts online', but it will still not work.

  Lost all connectivity e-mail to my e-mail account on Roadrunner (socal.rr.com).  Tried to validate my account from the smartphone and also on the Blackberry site.  The email validation fails - has provided no further details.  Have made several unsuccessful attempts to validate the account and have checked that I provided correct email account information.  Also have restarted the unit several times.  Don't know what I can do.  He had to deal with that.

  You can try to delete the email, removing the service books so that e-mail, then put in place again.

  Another idea, if you use a password to connect and the service has two factors optional security, go to that and the new.  Alternatively, if you use the method of the two factor, shut it down and test.

  You mention that you have enabled suppliers. Given that, you need to change ntlworld.com to something else. This piece of information would be provided by services of sky broadband.

  Check with them for your new name of user and password and other settings required for email as well.

  Has got 2 problems to be honest, so I'll start with the most important! Lately, my BBM was not send or receive messages when connected to the internet! It does on wifi and internet from Vodafone UK. It does now while I'm typing this on my "BOLD", which shows it is not that I am not connected to the internet because I am able to load a Web page and use internet requiring apps for example Facebook, MSN and twitter. Whenever I try to send a message, it comes up with the red square with a clock in it and does not send. Also, I don't get any messages, I can see the other person has read because he has this small r above the tick and says is written message, but no message is reflected. The only way to send or receive is to do a full battery, which becomes very annoying pull! Or to make a call :/ is there a solution? I'll add a comment the other problem once this has been resolved!   You have the latest version of BBM.

  You can backup your BBM contacts. Follow these steps-

  1. go to BBM
  2. Press Menu select Options
  3. Scroll down to backup management
  4. Save a backup of your contact: press the Save button
  5. Choose backup to remote or local files (remote backups are done by e-mail and local backup is done on memory card)
  6. Local press
  7. check automatically save changes to contact
  8. Back up now

  Go to menu, options, advanced options, host routing table, press menu again and sign up now.

  After that reboot the device, remove the battery for 30 seconds, to check if the mails are coming.
