  Go to Options > device > application and look through the list of installed applications. Do you see anything that looks like its place there?

  If there is, just delete the application that was guilty. If this isn't the case, then there are two more radical options, including making a security wipe to reset your phone or a complete reload of the operating system.   I need help... or a lot of it really!  I got my Sprint 8830 for a year and a half to two years.  Recently I had all sorts of questions.  My call/text journal disappear which I assume is related to memory... but I deleted a lot of things to free up memory on my phone.  I don't get texts also.  People constantly tell me they sent me tons of texts and I never get any of them!  I tried to send one to my phone from another phone and it does not cross the first 4 times, but the only time where he did, my phone is beeping and I went to read the message he just disappeared!  In addition, my phone is not ringing and goes directly into voicemail... only advising me of a new message - not a missed call.  I was in my house when these things happened so I know that this is not a problem of service area.
