BlackBerry Smartphones on screen icon

I had a small icon (alert) on the upper left side of my screen.

It looks like a battery with a number next to it. This morning, there were 9 then it went to 12 and now his 19 on can someone tell me what is it how to see if its an alert and how to get rid of.

It certainly comes from a third-party application you have installed... so what third-party application you have installed? Those who have an icon that looks like this notification icon?

Options of > Applicaitons. What's in your list it?

  • For the blackBerry Smartphones email folder icon has disappeared!

    9650 w/bundle 6.0

My email icon disappeared from my screen.  My verizon email account is listed in the "setup."  I tried turning the power on/off the phone; no change.  I have remove the e-mail account setup and then entered it again and still no luck.  How can I get the email icon to reappear on my phone?  Help!

The first thing to do is to press your menu button and select Show all or show that one is available. If who does not show your icon, you will need to reload your OS. Not to worry, it's really easy to do. Plug your phone into BlackBerry Desktop Software, click Device > backup and make a backup of your data. Once this is done, click again on the device, and then click on restore. Find the backup file that you just created and load it onto your phone. This will restore your email to your home screen icon. It's a good idea to do regular backups so make a habit to backup your phone at least once a month.

    See you soon.

  • General issue of blackBerry Smartphones: Deletes an icon...?

    Hello

    New to Blackberry.

So when I want to uninstall a program I go to settings > device > application management and I uninstall it from there

I also noticed that I could delete the app icons that appear on the screen. This also uninstalls an application?

    Thank you

Menu > delete the home screen icon or click and hold + del does the same thing.  They are all uninstall the application.

My BOLD 9650 seems to be constantly rebooting. I'll see the clock icon running (same as on reboot) pop up randomly and the dough runs very quickly. This could be the cause and what can I do to prevent it. I'm on OS6.

    You may installed applications?

Back up and conduct security wipe. Does not restore your installed applications. See the following articles.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone keyboard lock icon disappeared (curve 8520)

    Hello

I have recently supported a Blackberry Curve 8520 - I noticed that, once I had connected to my PC via Blackberry Desktop Manager, the icon for the keyboard lock has been removed from the menu.  I looked in the obvious places in the Options to try to restore the icon but can't see anywhere that allow me to ths.  I was also looking for hidden objects, but nothing seems more to be hidden.

Is it possible to restore the icon?

    Thank you all.

You may update the software? The lock has changed in the latest versions of the software in all areas for the devices.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones FACEBOOK SCREEN

    Hello

I downloaded the app fb 1.8.0.49 everything went well except that it was difficult to click on the buttons to the right.

Now, given the real when I open the screen icon is really small and surrounded by blue. It does not fill the whole screen if you know what I mean? I do not know how to enlarge mode full-screen. Can anyone help?

    Thank you!

I know what is happening. Facebook is loaded on your device with mode "compatibility." under the screen, you have a tiny keyboard that looks at the keyboard of the phone 10 years ago.

It's pretty easy, you just disable this mode of "compatibility".

    1. Home screen > options > Applications
    2. you get a new screen. At the top right, select "Third party". you get a list of all third party applications that you have installed on your device. Place the cursor on Facebook.
    3. menu > Compatibility Mode
    4. Simply allow him not.
  • Appearance on the blackBerry Smartphone home screen

I had my 9800 Torch for a week after the upgrade to a Bold 9700. I'm happy with the upgrade.

When I performed various tasks I could press "ALL" and all the icons on the screen of the main menu would drop down. Done away with only a small face toward the triangle top remains lower support and reopen the home screen icons.

Yesterday, I downloaded some music files mp3 from my computer on the torch. The torch is very limited with sound selections (ringtones) compared to the "BOLD". Now the phones all THE menu does not disappear completely as previously. I have now my desktop wallpaper selected and 4 icons (SMS, email, etc.) on the bottom row.

I know it's a minor detail but ALL icons disappear with only a rise done triangle was a nice feature, allowing a full view of my wallpaper on the phone.

I just spent 3 hours trying various procedures and passing by more than 300 pages of the manual. Any comments or solutions are appreciated. I tried to restore from backup without success.
    6.0 bundle 695 (v6.0.0.246) platform 6.4.0.105 running. Thank you.

Press and drag the bar at the top of the icons - you can drag upward (and get 1, 2, or 3 lines of icons) or downwards (and to make the icons).

  • Application blackBerry Smartphones Home Screen folders

Is there anyway that I can change the icons that appear on my home screen?  Those that are out there, I'm not necessarily out there, and I looked and looked on the options on my phone to see where I can change them, but I couldn't find the solution...  Any help please?

Well that's your theme settings. I don't know what theme you have, but on many topics:

On the full screen icon, highlight the icon you want in one of these places, and then click Menu > move and scroll the icon up to the top line and click to release.

    Works?

  • BlackBerry smartphones rearrange the icons on the screen?

Is there a way to rearrange the order of the icons on the main screen?

Yes. Select the icon that you want to move (tap it without clicking so it is highlighted). Press the Blackberry button and click on move (it's like the top of the menu). You should be able to do drag the icon to the location that you want or click on the location of the icon where you want the icon to go. Once you have finished, click on the Blackberry button and then click on 'complete Move.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone App world icon is missing from my home screens and download

I've upgraded to Blackberry App World version 4.0.0.63 on my Blackberry Bold 9780 yesterday. After re-booting the phone, my App World icon was suddenly missing from my home screen. It was not on my download screen. I could also find when you do a search for App World. I reinstalled from the Blackberry App World site. I always had the same problem. Then a friend suggested I have uninstall App World of settings: device: application management: Blackberry App World - and selecting delete in Options. I did this - and then re-installed App World AGAIN on my phone from the Web site. And the problem still persists. Do I really have App World on my phone or not? If I have it on my phone, how and where can I find the icon - so I can place on my home screen.

See the article knowledge base on this issue.

  • BlackBerry smartphones to change icons that appear on the home screen

    Hi all:

Any new owner of the 9000.

I've had three questions for you gurus:

    (1) is there a way that I can choose which icons appear on the home screen, so that I don't not to hit the MENU button and then scroll to access ones I use regularly...?

    (2) ATT (in the United States) made wonder a user name and password when I try to connect to att.com/blackberrystart.  I already put in place an email 'external' non-Exchange, the private, ([email protected]) on my phone, but of course I can't use it to connect to this site.  Does anyone have an idea as to what is happening?

    (3) even if I send emails using this account [email protected] of "BOLD", what should I do to RECEIVE emails on account of [email protected] using POP?

Any help on these three issues will be fantastic.

    Thanks in advance.

    -d.

You can hide those that you no longer want to see. Just ALT + click the trackball on those that you do not want to see and choose hide. With the default theme only the top row of icons will be visible without hitting the menu button.

Check out this post to other sites that have additional themes, you can install

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/Rim/Board/message?board.ID=bold&thread.ID=1065

When you go to the page AT & T BIS are you in the 'create new account' first? You can create an account to access the site. After you have created an account, you can access the sections of e-mail accounts to configure your BlackBerry email account.
