BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook Mail Box full number

We limit our Exchange / Outlook to 450 MB users... Don't ask...  We know that the user will not be able to send messages when the box is full, but is it possible to have messages automatically send messages once the mailbox is less than the threshold of his BB?  Now, we must go and return each message that has been attempted on the BB.

Thank you

Rob

No, there is no option of forwarding to BB.

Just an idea, you Exchange generates an email to users when it is close to FULL? That could help them manage his mailbox in a better way.

  • E-mail blackBerry Smartphones Outlook and BB not wireless sync. The BES.

    Hello

I recently changed from seven years of Windows Mobile to BB. I am on a BES and the changes I make on the prospects to your desktop or Blackberry (Bold) are not synchronization in both directions. It's frustrating. My COMPUTER helpdesk advised me to "clean up" the BB a couple of times and we did it. Also my manager office of BB is not configured for synchronization as by their advisor who they explain everything is wireless.

It of frustrating and makes me think how it was easy with Windows mobile. Help, please.

    Thank you.

Your BES admins should work on the issue of synchronization.

For the issue of the separate boxes of Messages, see this...

By default, BES email is made only in posts emails BIS icon/App are placed in their own icons, but they are still contained in the main Messages application. This is how it works by default. It is not redundant - rather, think that Messages like the Tote place, with the BIS independent icons being a filter, traction (from message) to them only messages that relate to them... but if you act on an e-mail (read, delete, etc.) in one, the change will be reflected in the other.

Your BES Admin can push an E-mail BES icon only to your device. This solution is free, but must be conducted at the level of the BES server and will affect all users on the BES server.

    • KB15003 How to create an icon on the BlackBerry smartphone to BlackBerry Enterprise Server messages

Or you can get the application to empower BES Inbox. This solution costs (per user), but does not require a change at the server level and affects only a single user.

Neither solution would do anything on Messages - will continue to contain what it contains today. All they will do is activate an additional icon on your home screen that is a filter for your BES emails only. You can hide or move the Messages icon/app out of the way, but beware - there are more that just the emails that arrive in Messages... it will come a day when you have a new message indicator and only by digging through Messages that you will be able to find this message.

Or, if you have the correct device OS version (I know for sure it works on 5.0.0.32 8 of the storm), the device gives you options for what to display in Messages and you can remove BIS email accounts.

I hope this helps explain how it all works!

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer mail from blackberry to outlook - exchange problem

    Hello

We have a probelem yesterday with our Exchange, some may have been delete in Outlook, but there are still on the blackberry, I watch the desktop software but I don't see anything.

I wish I could move the email from the blackberry to Outlook

is there an easy way to do this?

A couple of VP are waiting for me

    Thanks for your help!

Hmmm... so, you have already successfully migrated messages to a non - BES BB. Ok. So that is totally disconnected as well Exchange Outlook? I wish I could test this for you... I thought there was a way to make the BB 1-way synchronization to Outlook. But, even once, I him didn't so that's all the theory right now... your work will prove it or not.

Hmmm... Maybe the synchronization isn't the best way. The file IPD that you used to migrate data from the real BB to this non - BES BB... this file is not natively readable by anything other than the desktop software from RIM (to be used for the restoration). But, I have heard (but never used) 3rd party applications that can analyze the file and extract information. Maybe you can get those? The only one I remember is ABC Amber Converter (or something like that)... but I don't know if it is available. You might find something (probably not free) who might get what you need from the IPD file however.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones E-mails from gmail is not on Blackberry

Because I had problems with my other email account, I recently "moved" my correspondence email business to my gmail account, I had rather used as a backup before. I had both my accounts put in place on my blackberry and I remember them both increased and works well, but I cannot say with certainty that I have rarely received emails on gmail.

The problems I have now (I had also, at the same time re - configure my blackberry, but everything should be ok now) is that the gmail account is not working properly after the installation. At first, it seemed to work pretty well, but now it's extremely erratic, at best, with a few emails that crosses and their reception by the blackberry, not at all and if yes with a delay of up to a few days (!).
This makes the combination of my now main mail to gmail account and my blackberry on which I rely heavily for communication when I'm out of the House completely unusable.

I have heard and read (even if for the most part in internet posts that are a few years old) it seems to be a problem running with gmail and blackberry accounts. Is - this irreparable?

    Is there a solution?

If all else fails, use a new account (new) would be the only alternative left - which would be a messaging provider that matches 100% with the blackberry e-mail program?

    Thank you very much!

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts.

In addition, with GMail, you must be sure to have a good setting inside GMail. Via PC/browser, you control what GMail is facing the internet for your account (POP, IMAP, or both). I always recommend that you turn OFF POP and turn on IMAP in Gmail. Then set up fresh for your BB and you will have the 'best' available (IMHO) settings for GMail.

Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support. What you describe certainly shouldn't happen on a regular basis (even if we must all accept the intermittent nature of everything on the internet).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones e-mail settings will not open

I was out of my service area of AT & T for the weekend and not allowed access to a 3 G network.  When I came back, my e-mail folders does not open and the screen freezes.  Is the only way to exit the screen to reset, but the e-mail folders will still not open.  Any helpful thoughts?

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. • BlackBerry Smartphones e-mail synchronization - problems sending/reception of the BB and Hotmail emails

Emails sent from the computer using Hotmail do not appear in the BlackBerry smartphone. However, e-mails sent using BlackBerry device appears in the device as well as in Hotmail and the same is true for all incoming mail. The only question is sent with mail from Hotmail, which items do not appear in the device. I tried options email reconciliation, but the problem persists.

For your info, I use BlackBerry Torch 9800 and my ISP is Etisalat in the United Arab Emirates.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

From what you describe, it's WAD - work as designed... see this KB for reference:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook calendar removed off laptop computer during synchronization

I was snyching my blackberry with outlook on my laptop, as I had done earlier in the day very well, but the last time I did, it deleted ALL my calendar on outlook items (they are still on my blackberrry).  When I resynch again once they return to outlook.  I double checked in the Office Manager that he was set to synchronize both ways, and it is.  Any idea what I'm doing wrong or how I can get the information back in outlook?

I fixed it this morning when I deleted the Desktop Manager and downloaded the latest version on the blackberry site.  It seems to work now.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook with a Blackberry E-mail on PC?

    Hello

I was wondering if I could use my account vzw.blackberry.net on Outlook on my PC instead of always having to use the phone for my emails? I use VZW Access Manager for my attachment.  I was trying to undestand some of the offers bb saying can I use it as my messaging connector?

    Thank you in advance.

    Darla

Sorry, but BIS account (in this case vzw.blackberry.net) is only to be used with the device, you do not have access to the pc.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones AOL mail

I created my AOL email via the BlackBerry Personal Email Set Up. My mail comes directly to my AOL account and the messages on my desktop folder. (I have a BlackBerry Curve 8310). The e-mails do not look like they do on my computer. There is no images and they are full of embedded HTML messages. I read that there is something new that will allow me to see AOL mail normally on my BlackBerry. Does anyone know how?

Right, you need to upgrade to OS 4.5, then remove and readd you email account and you should be ok.

Also check out these HTML options in the newer operating system: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15254

  • BlackBerry Smartphones UK - mail and Windows Live Messanger

    Hello

My first post here, but I got my BB a while, just never got roud to juggle with it and try to get the apps I want. First and foremost I want to mail and Windows Live Messanger for IMs, addressing Phones4U where I got my contract, they said I need to buy their email Plan to access Emails 'push' (at the moment I don't have an option for setting up my own email addresses). Just to confirm that this is true, if yes it would probably be more easy for me to buy just the increased data plan and access e-mail through hotmail.com (I don't sent them that much).

However, I use MSN a lot. I tried to download AppsStore, I tried going to www.blackberry.com/messenger, and I tried to download from my PC via my USB wire into the phone. Every time that he told me that I meet the system requirements. When I go to 'About' on my BB it says I have a BB 8900 smartphone v4.6.1.76 (Platform 4.2.0.62) and my status says I have 112 mb of available storage.

Y at - it something I am doing wrong? Should I be on a payment plan to access the app store? In addition, with MSN it charges you? I have unlimited SMS with my payment plan, but I should also use internet data extended as well?

    See you soon,.

    Alex

Well, I know not what you mean by 'web n 'walk', but if you have no data plan and browse internet strictly via WiFi, so I think that you actually fail condition 4. If I am correctly Recalling, AppWorld must flow through a data plan as well as the income of everyone in the data stream (developer, Distributor, carrier, RIM, etc) can all be properly credited for sale (Yes, I know that some are free - but it's a sale nonetheless).

  • Our blackBerry Smartphones e mail of the non-visible Office on BB

Hello. I don't see on the BB mails sent from the desktop (I can only see those that are sent from the BBerry).

Note: I have an account hot mail.

Suspicion on a configuration? Thank you

    Fix, works as expected.

Your Hotmail sending the e-mail server will not be "reconciled" to the handheld device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Outlook information not Syncin

I have a BB that has been synched with my computer at home. Everything has been/is good here. I got a new job and a new computer to go with it. I have synced my BB with my work computer and everything worked fine.

This morning I looked at my work computer and a number of appointments in my calendar was missing in the future. Appointments are always on my BB.  I have everything synced, it crossed the calendar, but did not detect differences, so no changes. There are still meetings for this weekend on my BB which do not appear on Outlook.

    I upgraded to 5.0 Desktop.

I did a hard reboot of my BB.

I checked and the configuration information is supposed to take place in two ways.

NOTE: I added a NEW appointment in my calendar of BB and then synced it and the NEW appointment came.

Any thoughts or ideas would be useful.

    Thank you

  • Sync contacts blackBerry Smartphones Outlook 2007/Desktop 5.0

I am a relatively new user of Blackberry (4 months).  I sync my Blackberry Curve 8330 with Outlook 2007 on a windows using Blackberry Desktop v 5.0.  While the right of the logic of the calendar synchronization, the contacts are not.  It seems that when I sync Outlook to the Blackberry, it just seems to ADD contacts, rather than MERGE them.  You can imagine that it means that the number of contacts on my Blackberry keeps on growing, with obvious duplicates.

Note: I don't '1 way', that I need not change on my contacts on the Blackberry transfer to Outlook.  It's a one-way street.  In addition, I know the work around - from time to time, I'm doing a "replace contents" when I synchronize so that all of the contacts on the Blackberry are deleted and new Outlook contacts are transferred.  Because I have about 4000 contacts, he is a rather slow process, and I don't want to do it every time.

    Thank you.

Thank you.  That "reset" seemed to have worked.   We'll see after I do some modifications, etc.
