BlackBerry Smartphones repetitive white screens

I have a problem with my Curve 8520.

At least 4 times a day, the screen goes completely white, no clock or the error message and I have to do two battery grips before it restarts and most of the time that the battery runs completely in the process, then there are times where I need to connect my device to restart.

Is there any solution for this?

Is this a problem of battery or a device problem?

Thanks in advance for any help you provide.

Finally I solved it. It was only replace the battery with one an anc new verification for any of the facilities of misapplication.

Hello everyone hope that someone will want to help with my problem. You see, I threw the phone on the floor the other day and showed a white screen, sometimes fainting in the normal display and sometimes what is the colorful stripes. spend 2 days and then my screen was just full of stripes of color, no white screen at all. I did some research and found that the concealment of the screen and reconnect the Ribbon of the screen might work. I did and he just came back to the white screen, no more color just scratches the white screen again. I watched tape of connection and its not teared, so don't know what else to do to fix. There was this other thing that coulded works but does not, and it was just the lock screen and pressing on the lower right of the screen by pressing the button 'p '. which didn't work either so if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail - white screen

In the past, I consulted my Gmail account from my Blackberry with no problems.  But recently, it does not work.  Instead of www.gmail.com taking me to Gmail, it takes me to a page with three tabs.  Google recognizes me in the Google tab +, and the Web tab works, but Gmail tab is totally empty, no email or anything like that to another visible, so there is nothing I can do.  I tried searching a few forums for this issue, but can't find it, although I found some similar articles and I tried of fixes that didn't work.  Any suggestions?  Or should I forget about Gmail and use only my Hotmail and accounts of corporate email, both of which work properly?

Hello and welcome to the community!

It would also help if you talked about those things that you have already tried and that has not worked... I'm afraid that this opinion will be redundant, but I have no way of knowing...

Each time a random strange behavior or slowness comes, the first thing to try is a proper reboot:

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.

See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Good luck!

I'll be in the middle of typing, and then the screen turns white!. I have to take the battery out, put again and then I can get 5 more uses out of it and it white screens again. Sometimes I just need to make works with the black button on the top and it starts working again. What is the problem with my Blackberry? • BlackBerry smartphones all my screens message are empty

So, after trying to separate my messages sms and mms from my work and my personal email, I can access is more no message.  When I click on the message, email, or sms/SMS icon, my phone doesn't respond - if I wait, the screen will turn black and when I press any button, the screen is all white.  I have to press the button end call to return to the menu.  My phone always says when I get a message, but I can't seem to him.  I've logged on to the Office Manager and erased the memory to remove whatever it is corrupt, no luck.  I can't go in the settings to change preferences, because these settings are located in the folder menu message options themselves, which of course, I can not enter.  Any suggestions?

So the main thing is that you can't have in your main folder of Messages - read this correctly?

First thing to do this: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

Now you can open your messages folder?

If this isn't the case, you have hidden your messages folder? On-screen main full icon of your device, press Menu > and SEE ALL that it is checked. Now, you see the Messages folder?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blue error screen when the "BOLD" connection via port USB for Windows Server 2003

I try to activate a new blackberry 9000 "BOLD", the first time I plugged the server he was immediately recognized and installed. I selected add new device of the user and the activation process started, but about 1 min in the activation I got a blue screen error stop 'driver of bugcode_usb.'

After restarting the server I reconnected the "BOLD" to the server and once more Windows he acknowledged and began the installation process, this time however, the VM didn't pick it up and I had to click on VM > removable devices > usb devices to start the process of installing how he immediately provoked the stop error blue screen again.

We run BES 4.1.4 on Windows Server 2003 in a virtual machine (VMWare 1.0.4) environment

Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to plug it back for fear of crashing the BES server again.

  • Display of e-mail blackBerry Smartphones New on screen?

My husband has an iPhone and it has a great feature - when you receive a new email or SMS text, the text of the message is displayed on the screen of the phone when it unlocks.  Is there a similar feature for the 8300?  Call me Miss Instant Gratification, but I hate the notification and the blinking light and then go through the process of unlocking the phone, scroll to my e-mail icon, then clicking on him to get the message, only to find it's spam.  If I could just unlock the phone and BAM, there's the message on the screen, it would be great.

I am ongoing 5.0 and if my camera is in the case and no criminal record, as soon as I get out of case it opens the most recent message to me. It is the property of BB by default should work for everyone.

  • BlackBerry smartphone touch sensitive screen

I would like to know how I can fix my screen is too sensitive. When I get a call and my ear touches the screen of my phone is cut off, please help. I tried the phone settings, but its doesn't help not. How can I turn off the screen during calls

You cannot adjust the sensitivity, but the BlackBerry should recognize, you're online and don't let not your face put mute calls, etc. Happens to me sometimes.

You might want to try a third party like TalkLock application or such. Check the AppWorld.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones without keyboard screen scroll

I just got my BB Storm yesterday and maybe return.  I found that some software does not work on it because she needs another way to scroll and I can't use it without a trackball. Is it possible to use it without using the touch screen.  I know that's the beauty of this new phone but its useless with most of the software.  And I thot I saw advertised with the possibility of using YouTube in the United States, I had to screw not UK.  Perhaps rturn to my BB Curve

Anyone else disappointed?  Or someone has found a solution to these quirks and if so please share your tips from TIA

Not been caught in the STORM again!

You must set the compatibility mode for the software you are using as it has not been developed for the storm yet. See the following article for more information about compatibility mode:

    Or is it not important?

No, your main folder of Messages ON your BlackBerry. If you check your BlackBerry email a subfolder named by your email... then find the name Messages. Highlight is it, find messages and delete them or read them etc.
