BlackBerry Smartphones seen number of entries stored on your sim card.

Hello

Does anyone know how to display the number of contacts stored in your phone's sim card? I have no idea where the option is. Thank you

I don't know about many of them, but you can view them in the address book by going to the address book, by pressing the menu key and selecting Directory sim card.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM w / WiFi works only after changing SIM card not

    Hello

I need help (otherwise I would not write here). I have the Bold 9930. Until I left the States, my phone was working perfectly fine... I had an email, BBM, whatsapp, text, etc...

When I arrived in Haiti, I wanted to change my SIM card, then I would be able to use / have a number of Haitian. I don't have an international plan. When the guy put my the Haitian SIM, the phone asked my BlackBerry ID and password. I typed all the two, which were both correct, but he told me that it was a wrong password. The guy told me that the only way I'd be able to 'reset' from my BlackBerry ID would be to disconnect and to do this, it would eliminate all my pictures and everything. I didn't do that so I ended up buying a Haitian phone w / a Haitian SIM card.

At this point, I have two phones. An American with a SIM American (BlackBerry) and a Haitian phone with a SIM card that is Haitian.

When I got home, I turned on my American phone and its WiFi, but my BBM and emails were NOT WORKING! However, my Facebook application and the browser are both works perfectly well.

I restarted my phone several times since yesterday and nothing has changed. I checked this morning to see if it worked, but not luck.

So my question (s) / issue (s) is now:

    1. How can I get my BBM works again? (probably the most important)

    2. How can I get my email working again?

    3. is it possible possible for me to have my BlackBerry (US phone) work with my Haitian SIM card?

    Please, please, please, help.

Unfortunately, the device works as expected. Facebook, the wifi browser work fine on wifi but BBM and email REQUIRE a valid BlackBerry data Plan.

The only way to make it work is to have a BlackBerry data Plan on the Haitian Sim Card.

  • BlackBerry smartphones using twitter and Facebook on a contract sim card.

Hey guys im new to this forum & just recently bought a BBerry Bold 9000. I do not data plan on my contract sim but I have downloaded on my bberry twitter & Facebook (I downloaded them using another sim which has no data plan).

my query is: will be charged extra for the use of twitter & FB on BBerry though on the BLACKBERRY and not the sim card?

that makes sense, or I'm everyone here confusion?

    I can't wait to get a response.

    Thank you xx

If they still work (and they probably won't), you will use data.

You will be charged one way or the other.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones opening Word / Excel files stored on the media card

I just got my BB Bold 9700 last week. I used the BB Desktop manager to copy Word and Excel documents from my laptop to the card media on my 9700. Worked very well; However, when I try to open them on the 9700, I get the following message:

When you enter a remote share: //host/share at least, possibly add [/ file [/ file...]] [filename]

Could someone please show me an example of what they mean and how to do it?

I'm new to all of this, what is BES?

BES = Blackberry Enterprise Solution - a server, hosted within a firm, that provides a conduit between the company (for example, Exchange, Notes) messaging system and the BB belonging to the company.

BB Bold9780 - just turned off while I was listening to an mp3 while you drive - so asked my log-in, and the number lock is on. Has anyone seen this?

Let me ask you, you have a four-digit PIN that you use when you call Vodafone?

On Tmobile, it is sometimes necessary if the user has a lock on their SIM card.

    None of this seems familiar?

I transferred my old number from my Blackberry, but it still shows the number provided with the phone as my number.

If you have the new SIM card in your BlackBerry, go to Options > advanced > SIM card > Menu > change the SIM phone number and make sure you have your correct phone number is entered.

  • [Torch 9860] blackBerry smartphones - network indicates itinerant 'Fido Rogers Wireless -' with SIM of Fido

    Hello

    I recently bought a BlackBerry Torch 9860.

I have a card SIM of Fido

When I insert my SIM card, and I turn on the cell phone, the network said 'Rogers Wireless - Fido' with the itinerant triangle next to him.

Why is this the case and I will be charged roaming every time I make a call or send an SMS?

    Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

You must check if your BB is unlocked or not... see this:

If, for example, your BB is locked to Rogers, then when you try to use a Fido SIM, it might have to run via the Rogers network to get Fido. Or, if Fido has coverage where you are, it may have to wander on Rogers for Fido.

Regarding billing, you must talk to Fido or Rogers.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones download photos from my media on my PC card

I am a new user of BlackBerry Storm and I must say that I like this phone. I have however a problem getting my photos in the card support for my PC. I set up my phone to save my photos to the media card and I can view and send the images using my phone. When I connect my phone he asked me if I want to open my camera to view the files. I click to view files and a window opens showing me 2 icons on is the memory of the device and the other is the media card. When I double click the icon of the next window shows all files. I installed the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and he does not see the memory card and the device. Explorer displays only a drive letter for the device when I run Roxio Media Manager, but it never gives me a drive letter to the media card. I would like to be able to print some of these images, but right now I am at a loss on how to get this working.

Hi renegade13 and welcome to the forums!

You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
Use the following settings in the option of memory of the storm:

    Card support ON

    NONE encryption mode

(Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol

    WE support mass storage

Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO

    Thank you

    Hello

Hello and welcome to the community!

Nothing should change when you do this. With devices inherited from BB, there could be some changes... but with BB10, nothing should change.

    Good luck!

    2. click on backup and restore

    3. click on the advanced under the section titled Advanced button

    4. on the next screen, on the right, select address book, then click the button clear down.

It will delete the address book and leave it empty.
