BlackBerry 9700 Bold Blackberry Smartphones - Question number

I got my phone Orange, United Kingdom

the phone was provided with an 'original' phone number, so I carried on my cell phone I had for years

When I go to make telephone calls the phone displays the number of 'old' not many 'right '.

the identification of the caller on the other end is correct it's just the "BOLD" shows the wrong number on the screen.

is it possible to fix it?

Options > Advanced Options > SIM card.

Press the Menu key > change the SIM phone number and place your correct phone number and SAVE it.

  • An other 'Wifi without data plan"blackBerry smartphones Question - Rogers Canada

Hey guys, I'm new to this forum and blackberries in general... Please bear with me.

I am a student. Currently, I have a voice plan base on a LG Xenon with Rogers in the Canada. It includes minutes and unlimited texting. Enough for me.

I am looking to buy a Blackberry Curve 3 G/9300 off someone. I just want to throw my SIM in there so I can use my normal plan with the phone. My understanding is that I can phone Rogers and tell them to block all data, if I get no charge on my Bill. Fine. However, I also understand that the 9300 is a wi - fi phone.

Let's say that I get the 9300, contact Rogers and tell them to block all data on my plan.
Can I still use my browser in a Wi - Fi hotspot? How should I do? (I know that I read somewhere that you need to configure to be about to access and not talkspot... If someone could help me with this that would be great).

Also, I read that, so that I am still able to use a wi - fi connection, I need to have data 'on' in the phone. If the data is 'on' in the phone, but I've blocked data with Rogers, can I still use a wi - fi connection? This would prevent the costs of data on my Bill?

In addition, I understand that I will not be able to receive multimedia messages without a data plan. Once again, if I'm in a wi - fi hotspot... Can I receive these messages from photos?

I'm sure it's a question very well known and well hated to you all and I'm really sorry to ask, but I just need some clarification. I don't want to be stuck with a big Bill with I ever intend on paying data charges. If someone could help me with this, I would really appreciate it.

    Thank you very much!

In addition, I understand that I will not be able to receive multimedia messages without a data plan. Once again, if I'm in a wi - fi hotspot... Can I receive these messages from photos? No only simple navigation cannot be made and Pandora can be used in mode Wi - Fi.

I transferred my old number from my Blackberry, but it still shows the number provided with the phone as my number.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unknown number for all calls

Recently, I received my Verizon Storm (9530) and after a few questions on their side Server with activation, everything worked perfectly.  Monday, my wife called me in the afternoon and everything was fine.  That night she called me and the unknown number came.  Each call will now appear under the unknown number.  When I shout at her phone it shows up as Restricted, yet I don't have one of these security options enabled, now I use the number restriction (* anything).

I searched the forums here and tried everything I found listed. including of OS.151, which made it worse and then the phone does not charge when it is plugged.  I have seince downgraded to OS.148 and everything else on the phone works perfeclty, except list calling you.

    Suggestions more?

    Thank you

    You are right! (Makes OS5).

This user on the torch need to go to Options > sounds & ringtones > ringtone, but there is still no adjustment it takes time to voicemail. The user just needs to call their support of carrier.

    Hello

I wonder is anyway so added a new Contact number is saved in the Mobile field instead of field of work? I discovered that whenever I have add a new contact on home screen (by typing the number and click on add to contacts), it is always saved in the work field. Kind of annoying to copy / paste all the time.

    Thanks a bunch...

Search for "Add number under ' in the MobiHand store. It allows to record the number of the call log with any type of phone.
