BlackBerry Smartphones setting email filters on the non-Enterprise accounts

I am a member of a rather active mailing list (sent to my Gmail account) that obstructs the Blackberry email application (and is a puzzle to be constantly marking as "unread").  How do I set a filter so that the mailing list emails are not sent to my phone at all, or as soon as they are in my phone are automatically deleted?  I use a Verizon 8703e model.

Thanks in advance...

This is how you can configure filters for not receiving mail on BB >

  • Question of blackBerry Smartphones Push Email

    Hello world

I just got my first blackberry 9700 2 days and I have a few questions about the push email. In fact, I have 3 email accounts and I only created 1 e-mail account on my blackberry.

    The first problem is that:

    1. the push email sometimes receives the e-mail immediately, but when he gets 5-7 emails at a time. I think that push email on blackberry receives e-mail messages instantly when they arrive, isn't she?

    2. is it a problem to use only 1 email for multiple accounts on blackberry? I mean my Facebook, MSN messenger, ebay and other accounts. should I set up my account facebook and MSN messenger to have an individual email for each?  So, in this case 1 email doesn't work a lot on my blackberry.

    3. as what it is provided on e-mail setting blackberry. It can affect the accounts of different e-mail such as hotmail, yahoo, etc..  I put a hotmail on my blackberry, but not @hotmail.com instead of hotmail.co.uk. Is this a problem?

    and one last question is:

    4. I tried to download paid themes, but when I then sent the link to my blackberry there is a link to download the theme. I just clicked on the link to download, but there is no button to download the theme. Is the country where I am were not taken in charge the service? I think that all countries should be able to download the application. In fact, I'm in Australia.

The Australia has supported the service to download a paid app?

    I'd appreciate your answers.

    Thank you

    1. According to your e-mail server type, thrust can be instantaneous or on a cycle. IMAP servers (Gmail, Yahoo, GoDaddy accounts) are almost instantaneous. (AOL and many others) POP accounts are on a cycle of 15 minutes the server checks for new messages and two minutes later until a period, it is up to 15 minutes until that new messages are again found.

    2. is not serious, this is your preference. It's not like you're going to "on the job" an e-mail account. The only thing that you might be aware of the size of e-mail server limits is important, but has nothing to do with the BlackBerry.

    3. use all the e-mail account name, if your e-mail address is [email protected], use it.

If your e-mail address is [email protected], then this is the address.

I don't really understand this question.

4 blackBerry AppWorld is currently available in Australia for free apps, not for applications and commercial themes (paid).

    Good luck.

    Hallo,

I use a BB 8520 and want to delete all the entries in the calendar (default calendar). The option "replace all entrances to terminals" in DTsoftware does not work - I changed the calendar by default - and all the entries are addes to the pre-existin entries.

    Hello

From your post, I'm not at all sure that you actually tried that did not work. Therefore, see:

  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working! The problem is NOT solved!

My BB 9780 was working fine a few weeks ago and then stopped my emails.

I have not added any application or change anything

I tried this service book record thing, out of battery, removal of e-mails and trying to set them up again (which doesn't work now) and nothing

    So no idea?

I'm tired of these bugs... I would really like to have a phone that can receive emails, otherwise it will become a big paperweight

Hello and welcome to the community!

I know you said you tried some things, but I don't know if you've done these steps exactly. Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones only emails sent to one of my BIS addresses are the transmission of my BlackBerry Curve 8330

I had my first Sprint BlackBerry Monday last and more later added an e-mail address BlackBerry and three other accounts (account of 1 year aol, the other two of my own Web site servers), and everything worked very well. Then one day there I put filters on the AOL account to stop some of the bulletins and specific emails of will and clutter up my BlackBerry. Now, none of my emails are going through to BlackBerry except those I send myself to one registered email accounts.

I've removed the filters, return Service directories and re-recorded the device through the Table of accommodation, but nothing has worked. I only put in place filters to search for e-mail addresses and forward them not the BlackBerry, but it seems to be all filtering, and I can't cancel the behavior.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I just wanted to know that I finally understood the problem. I had inadvertently turned on the firewall under Options-> security settings for blocking the BIS server. All is well now.

Hello and welcome to the community

You must enter any of the configuration section 'Enterprise '. Rather use the BB exclusive services (including the ability to Push email, BBM, etc), you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have an email Push-enabled compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), your exclusive services BB will work (for example, you will have a staff/Internet Email added to the email Setup Wizard, your BBM will work, etc.).

With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans it is impossible to say that any plan service could actually expressly provide for. Only carriers can answer this question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you want and then talk to your carrier about obtaining a data plan that allows what you want (to them).

    Good luck!

    Hello ladychelle

I guess you have already BIS on both of your devices, so first of all restart your device by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a minute then reinsert back .after restarting check if it allows,

If the problem persists then register your handheld computer on your corporate network, for the help, see this KB:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BIS messages appearing in the working email folder

    Hello

I use a 9000 "BOLD" that is connected to my work email ([email protected]) through our BES. Everything works very well.

There is an envelope on my "BOLD" icon, and emails appear in here.

I also have a GoogleMail ([email protected]) account that I put in place for the BIS. Since that, there is an additional icon on my "BOLD" with a globe next to him, I guess that's my Google mail.

The problem is, every time e-mail is directed to my Googlemail "BOLD", he appears in the two "icons".  So sometimes, I look at my phone, see the working envelope icon is in red, indicating a new message, but it's actually in my Googlemail (this BIS icon is too red).

Is there a setting I can change to BIS email go to the BIS icon only?

    Any help is appreciated!

The OS 5.0 device, you will find a setting in Messages > Options > settings Inbox that will move to your personal e-mail account in its own folder.

If you do not have OS 5.0,.

    1. ask your administrator BES to push mail BES folder to you:

KB12610 send messages associated with a server BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet Service account are located in the same folder of Messages

    2. download the third-party application to do

  • Problem of strange Email from blackBerry Smartphones. Emails show as read in outlook when delivered to the blackberry phone

    Background:

our company has recently migrated from Exchange Server 2003 to Exchange Server 2010.

All of our blackberry phones use the provider service, so no BIS/BES participates in our side.

Before the migration to exchange 2010, everything was fine.

However, we started to notice what follows with the accounts migrated to exchange 2010:

The user receives an email in his 2007 Outlook e-mail client.

the user does not read the message, the message shows as unread.

BlackBerry survey involved provider, connect to our exchange 2010, the voting user account. As soon as this happens, the email gets "read" in outlook, but pronounced as "unread" in the blackberry phone.

I would like some advice about what to do next or maybe there's something related to exchange server 2010 or my service providers.

I tested it with my blackberry 9000 and is happening exactly as described.

    Thank you

    Hey eaperezh,

    Thanks for the information.

There is an article on this topic: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB03913

To resolve this issue: integrate accounts as OWA or IMAP or to configure a rule to redirect to the exchange server to forward to another address or address BlackBerry.

  • Why is the main Menu on the BB Desktop Manager BlackBerry Smartphones lack email settings?

The image on the screen for the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, as described in the User Guide, shows six options on the main Menu.  On my BlackBerry Storm 9530 Verizon, when I go to BB Desktop Manager (4.7), I see only five options.  One that is missing on my device's e-mail settings.

    Anyone know why?

This icon appears only if you have installed using the BlackBerry Enterprise/redirector option during installation. If you have installed using the Internet Service so you don't get the e-mail settings icon.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones setting BB to vibrate for then meeting the entrance is on the calendar

I got a smartphone that would automatically change the sound profile to vibrate when a meeting was scheduled.  How do I do this with the 9630?

    Lou

I don't think this is possible within the native operating system.

You will need to manually edit your profile to vibrate or silent.

  • Smartphones blackBerry emails displayed in the icon 'bad' account

I hope someone can help. I just switched to a "torch", and depending on the device, I was able to properly configure connections to two e-mail accounts. Let's call them 'personal' and 'work '. However, everything seems to come "personal" account - even messages sent to the address of 'work '.

I'm sure it's a value somewhere - actually, I think I remember what happens when I had my first "BOLD" a couple of years - it's just that I don't remember what I need to change (even if I searched through many menus that appear obvious/Associates).

Can someone point me in the right direction for a solution to this?

    Thanks in advance

Don, open your main Messages icon > Options > Inbox management.

Here, you can check or uncheck the box that accounts flow to the main folder of the e-mail Messages.

  • Installation application blackBerry Smartphones 9320 email missing Vodafone

    Hi all

I have a curve 9320 (best phone ever) using 7.1 1319 but can not get working internet mail. Info here any help would be fantastic.

-Curve 9320; Vodafone UK; Personal SIM; BIS is working like having internet on phone. new combined and had the same problem on the same model/same before the purchase SIM.

-Email Setup Application appears to be missing

-Tried to install via Desktop Manager, but cannot download the OS on internet, so impossible to reinstall; downgrade then upgrade again; or install specific app

-Managed to download a 'leak' configuration of e-mail application, but have not installed correctly.

    Source of this app:

    http://forums.CrackBerry.com/BlackBerry-bold-9780-F219/email-setup-application-can-fixed-633200/?_ga...

Error I get after installing and phone restarts:

    "untrapped exception."

    java.lang.ClassCastException.

    -J' now uninstalled it

-Also tried to connect to BIS on Vodafone, that I could do, but adding the account e-mail address here does not insist on it on the phone

-NB is a "hotmail" email address  I logged on Outlook online (ie. new name for Hotmail) and "enabled the synchronization of POP."  There were other options to set and I've never had to do this in the past.

    Yes, I looked here! -

    http://support.BlackBerry.com/kb/articleDetail?ArticleNumber=000010773

Seems there are two routes - try to get the installed application and works; and get email works "via the device browser" (don't know exactly what it means the latter).

Vodafone has failed to return the telephone directories - surprising alone is sufficient.  This seems to be a way out for me.  I have to just get email configuration app works.

TBH, I think it's the best phone ever made because it has great physical keyboard; long battery life; is not to touch and smooth corners. Little surprised does not I don't see how anyone could afford a new fancy phone every 2 years!

Don't see how it could be a problem of system of Vodafone/Blackberry as surely several 9320 users using internet messaging with vodafone United Kingdom - some hotmail.

Looking forward to hear whatever it is, any help would be fantastic!

Hello and welcome to the community!

You tried not bad... well way... but here is the key:

    NF64 wrote:

It is not a red herring... the Service books are required. Legacy devices BBOS do not have a client application of full e-mail on them, they demand BIS in order to work for the email, and Service on the device books is a requirement for the functionality. Therefore, if Vodafone did not send Service directories, then something is very wrong... but, if the problem is their network, only they can look deep into it. Until the SBs exist on your device, it is useless to try whatever it is about the configuration of e-mail... the SBs are a sine qua non closed.

Here a very important question that you ask them - is your device model specific fully supported by their network for automatic filling of HRT and service book? No carrier BB support all models... each carrier chooses their subset of models to support on their network. With BBOS legacy, you can use specific models that are fully compatible with the carrier network for the automatic receiving HRT and notebook entries maintenance. Reference:

If they tell you that your device is not supported by their network, then you're done... inconsistent is not compatible. Period.

If they tell you that your device is supported by their network, then you will need them to dig deeper and determine why they are not able to send the inputs required to your device. Once again, only they can look deep into their network to determine why this cannot work properly. Nobody here has such access. In addition, only your carrier can escalate your case until BB officially if additional assistance is required... you have no channel to do (well, not for free).

There are many possibilities as to why it does not work for you... all here, we can do is guess at those. Here are a few possible assumptions:

    1. As noted above, your device is incompatible with their network
    2. Your device is listed as reported lost or stolen
    3. Your device has a BIS account running on another carrier... If so, then Vodafone will not be able to create an account for her in their system of BIS.

There are other possibilities, but I think you get the drift. What is a key issue for you - how to acquire this device? If there was a camera formerly, numbers 2 or 3 in the list above may be even more possible.

Good luck and let us know!

I have been using everything ok through POP3 email on my blackberry for the last six months and then all of a sudden yesterday asked me to check the password that I tried to do it but the only message I get, is that my user name or password is invalid.  This is not the case, as I am with the same username and password on outlook and my Ipad and these work perfectly. • BlackBerry Smartphones filter emails coming into my Blackberry

I just bought a Blackberry 8830 World Edition and have put in place to get my email from sympatico.ca. I pay a flat rate for this inside the Canada.

I want to take my Blackberry with me when I travel abroad (really the reason I bought it) However, I have to pay for e-mail messages outside of the Canada, which wouldn't be a problem if I could only get the selected emails. I don't want to pay for spam and ads.

How can I set up filters so that I can filter all the undesirables?

    CC

    (1) you can add filters in the native blackberry email application but I would say that the source filtering.

Access your Sympatico webmail: http://mailsignin.sympatico.ca/home, login and you should be able to see 'options' at the top right if sympatico Setup is the same as hotmail.  Click on that and then click on "Filters and Reporting" below "Junk Mail", then making selections of yor:

    standard:

"Most junk e-mail is sent to the junk e-mail folder."

    OR

    Exclusive:

"Everything is sent to the mail senders and undesirable except message from your contacts folder, Windows Live Hotmail service ads and alerts that you Subscriber.

There is also a selection of delete all which immediately by e-mail.

I know that with gmail than all THE messages that go to the folder spam, if they are deleted or not never reach the blackberry.  Gmail and Yahoo also offer instant delivery.   It takes up to 15 minutes with every other webmail service, unless you sent it to an e-mail created blackberry.net address.

    OR

    (2) you can access you can access your blackberry internet service and create the filters it.  If you choose this option, the junkmail will still arrive in your Inbox of Sympatico, but is NOT delivered to your blackberry.  If you want filtered and deleted both of the side messages Server (Sympatico) and the Blackberry, select option 1.
