  If the device is not enough free space, it will start to delete the call logs and emails in order to make room for the new. Check the free space by going to Options | Status and look at the number "no file". If it is close to 0, so that's why.   I can't understand this!  When I receive a call or a SMS text, make a call or send an SMS text message, it appears for about 1 minute, then disappears.  I actually hear the signal that I received a text, but by the time I get to the phone he left.  However, my emails are still in the thread until I have like 10 or 12, then start the abolition of his post earlier.  I used to keep emials, phone numbers and the text on my phone for a month.  Did anyone had this problem.  It is not checked to 'hide' the messages that I checked in the text SMS option.  Help!

• BlackBerry Smartphones SMS and missed calls shows do not in my folder of SMS and MMS

  Hello!

  I have no problem with my phone so far - but this morning all of a sudden my message text and MMS folder suddenly only shows my emails.

  I can send texts by going to 'compose SMS', but when I get an answer I don't see the text message... I tried to play with the menu Options and the display folder in my text and MMS Inbox, but nothing seems to work!

  I assume that you must have changed some settings (I haven't touched this but anyway...) - I would like to reset?

  Help!

  Turn on your BlackBerry and off does nothing, except to turn power on and off.   You can not email in your Messages folder. So, I'm confused, or is it typo?

  You have the choice of where to view your SMS/MMS messages:

  • In your main folder.
  • In a folder dedicated to SMS/MMS.

  Try these options:

  • Hard Reset BlackBerry by holding ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or removing and reinserting the battery)
  • Messages > saved Messages
  • Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  • Defiler, scroll to the top of the page of the message file, above the menu date heading, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN
  • Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  • Clean and reload your OS.

  Hi all!

  New to the forum and there seems to be a lot of information to absorb around here.  I searched for a while, without success, an answer to the following question:

  Any BlackBerry smartphones (Bold, Tour, Cure, etc.) send two contact person AND number via bluetooth caller ID info or just the phone number?

  I'm playing with a Gigaset One / XLink Bluetooth gateway for home phones and that the number is going on the wireless phone, even if the name is known and displayed on my phone.  The manufacturer said that not all phones will send the name even if it is stored.

  So, I'm trying to understand if the BlackBerry 9000 "BOLD" does not send name, gateway does not pass along or cordless phone is not read it.

  Any help or information relating to the identification of the appellant via bluetooth would be greatly appreciated.

  Well, it seems that only the BlackBerry phones send only the number and not the name when it comes to Bluetooth caller ID information.  Even if you have contacts stored in your phone, and it comes up with a name and a number, only the number will be sent to the Bluetooth device.

  I received an email from XLink, indicating as they do know that the MotoRokr and iPhone (no specified people) actually don't send name and number calling info ID via Bluetooth, but BlackBerry does not.  I would check this info before I bet on it if.

  So, if you plan to use a Bluetooth compatible device to read or make the ID information calling pass of your BlackBerry terminal (telephone wireless, hands-free system, etc.) certainly has enough space to hold all of your contacts that you will get only the Caller ID names for numbers stored in the terminal.

  In addition, you do not want to look for one who can read contacts via Bluetooth from your mobile/smartphone specific rather than spending hours entering all contacts by hand.

  My headache started when I bought a Gigaset One / Xlink Cellular Gateway and has not obtained the names of the caller ID on the AT & T wireless phone.  Many cordless phones have only a directory number 50 which is not sufficient.  This phone has replaced by TL92270 of AT & T that indicates it can match and 1500 charge contacts of 4 cell phones (Yes, 6000 in total).  That should be enough... :-)

  I used the search option to find messages from Twitter, so I could remove them.  Delete messages took several tries, which surprised me.  Version 4 of the software of the device had no problem with this process.

  Anyway, my SMS and MMS Inbox now appears to be empty.  I have to search to see my new SMS/MMS messages.

  I had already backed up my camera and restored my Inbox TEXT Messages of this backup file, but it won't show any current traffic, a few items that I sent.  I have to do a search to see any current substance.

  What should I do to rebuild my SMS Inbox, so I have all my messages again?  Perform a search on every time I receive a new SMS takes too long.

  Check this... on your device go to the main folder of Messages > press Menu > Options.

  There, choose the Inbox settings.

  Don't you see the slots check and uncheck it to keep your SMS messages in the main folder, or off to create its own SMS folder? Please tell me what is your school?

  I hope some can help me. I have a BB 8330, Verizon and I can't understand how to clear (delete) my call log list all at once. The only option I can find is to individually remove the unique entries, but not the whole list. Thanks in advance for any help.

  Just select one to remove, press the left SHIFT key and scroll to the bottom. You will see them change color

  If you mean, can you have an icon for SMS/MMS and a separate one for Messages, the answer is Yes. In the application Messages (with the list of messages displayed), click on the BB button and select Options > Options of the. Scroll down just a bit for 'SMS and E-mail Inbox' and change that to "separated".

  I built a custom theme using the Plazmic 4.1.0.19 theme generator. When I insert the new theme, the SMS and MMS icon is gone. My theme is set to display the first 10 icons that you see when you press the MENU key. For some reason the SMS and MMS icon is not there anymore. All other icons are there. When I switch to my old theme, he's there. No one knows what causes this problem.

I have by mistake upgraded to version 5 and now have a problem with SMS'ing on my Curve 8900.  If I send an SMS to someone and then try and send another to someone else, it displays the name of the elderly and send the sms to them instead of the new person.  I can't open a new conversation and get also not individual responses of people, but the answers combined into a conversation continues. I come to verson 4?

  Personally, rather than demote, I would upgrade to the newer version 5.0.0.50 9 official, which fixes this bug.

  I am a new owner of a BB Bold 9700 and I have just set up my work email and its name icon is "Work Email" where only my work emails are received.  There is also a name of the 'Messages' icon that receives text messages and emails to work.  Is there a way for the Message icon can only receive text messages?
