BlackBerry smartphones start Messages in the SMS Inbox

When I go tot the Messages, it always goes the e-mail inbox... is possible to default page is SMS Inbox?

The message list is a list of all messages, e-mail. SMS, pin, etc.  You should have a separate text message Inbox.  If you do not, go to Messages > Options and function of your operating system there are there to control the settings if the sms/mms and email are combined or not.

  • Email for blackBerry Smartphones is going to the SMS Inbox

    Hello

    I would like to know how to stop my e-mails to my SMS Inbox! I have a Pearl 8100.

    If anyone knows, I would really appreciate it

    Thank you

    Messages is the catch all for all messages in all types of all accounts. A separate SMS/MMS icon can be created according to the levels of certain BONES (you already have the instructions for that above). The BIS-based emails will show in their independent icons, but they all will also still show in the main Messages icon. If you have BES, your messages will be only one default show in Messages, use alternating with everything else. If you have BES and you want to split out, say so and we will provide you a few ways to do this. But Messages will always be the Tote.

  • Using blackBerry Smartphones. Have lost the SMS icon.

    I lost my SMS icon on the main menu and cannot access the text messages. The app could have been entirely deleted by accident since I can't find it on my phone. Site Web de Blackberry has been next to useless. Took me half a day to do not make progress. Help!

    Reloading your operating system on your phone will reinstall the SMS icon.

    Connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Once your phone has been recognized, click device at the top of the software, and then restore the menu drop down.  Choose the most recent restore point and proceed.  Once it is recharged, the icon of your SMS should be intact once more.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones starting - I changed the Silent profile and cannot reset it

    I changed my silent profile to notify me when messages arrive.  Now that I know that I've changed an entire profile I want to put the rear silencer in "silent", but none of the choices for "tone notifier ', 'volume', 'count' or 'play sound' is the equivalent of silence - for example. I have to choose at least 1 for the volume number and the number 1 for County - there is no 'none' or '0' options.

    I would like to register my model number of BB with this post, but I don't know where to find this information

    Under "Volume" should have a "none" option.

    To find your device model number look in Options > topic.

  • BlackBerry smartphones when I open the Inbox, opens the Inbox SMS only. Help!

    I don't know why this happened, I woke up this morning and it was like that. Whenever I try to open my email inbox, opens the SMS Inbox. Even if I go directly to my accounts on my BB (yahoo and gmail) and try to open them directly, it nevertheless opens my SMS Inbox. I cannot understand this and can not find an answer. I check all my emails on a computer class. I still get notifications of new emails on my BB, but may not display because only the SMS Inbox will go up. I need my email box to show when I click my e-mail inbox. Help, please!

    Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Best!

  • Messsage of SMS is not on the SMS Inbox

    Hi all

    I try to send an SMS with the following code:

         MessageConnection msgConn;
         try {
           msgConn = (MessageConnection)  Connector.open("sms://21616");
           Message msg = msgConn.newMessage(MessageConnection.TEXT_MESSAGE);
           TextMessage txtMsg = (TextMessage) msg;
           System.out.println("*********** SMS Message: " + local.getSms());
           txtMsg.setPayloadText(local.getSms());
           msgConn.send(txtMsg);
         } catch (IOException e) {
           System.out.println("******** Error sending SMS: " + e.toString());
         }

    It seems to work without any problems, but when I go to the SMS Inbox, the message is not there, so I'm not able to find out if the message was already sent, or there is a failure or the SMS should be retransmitted or whatever it is, if someone had an idea?

    Thanks in advance.

    As far as I know, the message you send by programming, does not appear in the Outbox...

  • BlackBerry smartphone synchronization message 8303e e-mail

    Maybe it's a coincidence, but my 8303e stopped device to synchronize messages between my all of my email accounts - gmail, AOL - deleted after the global outage took place last week.  Additional variants, "Reconcile now" has disappeared from the menu of my messages application.   How can I correct this situation?

    Hello and welcome to the community!

    I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

  • BlackBerry Smartphones synchronization messages deleted

    My boss has a Blackberry attached to his desktop computer and I have full access to his e-mails.  If she removes the emails from his desktop computer and then they disappear from his Blackberry, but if I delete an email from him in my computer box, ir remains on his Blackberry.

    However, if I drag the enamel removed from my Inbox deleted the box removed, then it deletes the e-mail on his Blackberry and his office computer, but it is a heavy means time to process spam and other garbage e-mails (and I know that I remember to do all the time!).

    Any help much appreciated.

    Hey Joneedshelp,

    When a delegate removes any element of the box of a BlackBerry smartphone user mailbox, the deleted item is sent to your deleted items folder. Because the BlackBerry Enterprise Server is designed only to synchronize with records of the BlackBerry smartphone user's mailbox, the deleted item is interpreted as missing. The BlackBerry Enterprise Server does not remove an article from the BlackBerry smartphone, unless this element appears in the items deleted in the mailbox when the synchronization folder. You can change your Outlook client for when you remove items from the mailbox to the owners stay in their deleted items folder and they are not being moved to your mailbox. Support blackBerry does not recommend or support this work around, because it requires editing the registry. The Microsoft KB is 202517 and can be found on the microsoft support site. Please don't forget to take precautions normal according to the guidelines from Microsoft if you are planning changes to the registry.
