I recently did the software update proposed in consequence of which I had to re - install Facebook. Since then, I found that when I go to enter a new appointment, there are some new top that says send to help: and I choose Facebook, home, or office (the 2 is what I call my email accounts)

    Hello

The BlackBerry smartphone has the ability to maintain multiple calendars. You can select your timetable and services default e-mail to the title of the default Services Options-Advanced Options.

Send using option is there Design and cannot be deleted because it specifies which calendar you want to use for your appointment you will enter in.

  • BlackBerry® Smartphones email remove options

I've just updated the software for my verizon blackberry curve 8330 and when I receive emails and delete I don't have the delete option but before this update, I was able to remove it on my phone or my account my phone and email.  I don't know how to restore this set of options?

    Thanks for any help.

    Al

Try to send your service books:
1 connection to the site of the BIS of your operator (where you installed your email)
    2. go to help and click on "send Service books.

Then configure the options of reconciliation again.

Do a battery pull as well:
    1. remove the battery while the phone is turned on
    2. wait a few seconds before inserting it again
    3. wait for the long end of the boot process (takes a few minutes usually)

This clears most of the software problems that occur on the BlackBerry from time to time. You can also use Quickpull, a free application that simulates a battery pull without removing the battery: http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=27660
A battery pull gets lost when using the applications memory and clears minor software errors that creep over time. The blackberry is running an operating system just like your PC is running windows and battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot / restart your computer.

For example, your default services are empty?  Sounding like the BlackBerry software must be reinstalled.  I would suggest trying a first battery pull well.  In the meantime, we can clear your calendar from your BlackBerry using a few different methods:

    1. go to menu press calendar button and click Options, and then type rset.  This should give you a prompt indicating that it will clear your calendar.

    2. from inside the BlackBerry Desktop Manager, go to the backup and restore, choose Advanced.  In the device databases, select Calendar, and then click clear at the bottom of the screen.

3 perform a synchronization one-way since the BlackBerry Desktop Manager for BlackBerry by selecting the option to replace all data in the target application.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones deleting an option "Send help" from my calendar

I got the Facebook application installed and I removed it because I found the easiest to use mobile site.  Since I uninstalled the application, the default "send to" when I do a new appointment is Facebook.  I had to change it to my regular e-mail whenever I created a new appointment.  I was able to change my default back to my email, but I wonder if there is a way to completely eliminate the Facebook options.  I was expecting to go in when I uninstalled the app.  Can someone help me please?  Thank you

OK, on your device, go to Options > Advanced > service book.

Well scroll down and find the entry for 'Facebook' [CICAL], press Menu > delete.

    Then battery pull reboot again.

Go back and make sure that it is still not there.

  • Help blackBerry Smartphones impossible installation that Curve 8310 - email

Well I have Aproblem and I feel stuck, so I need help. I fight a second hand curve 8310 and it seems still had the old users email attached to it. I know this because as soon as I signed up for the BIS, told me he already has an e-mail address associated with the device and I have also received emails that were not mine. However, I wiped the phone and delete email addresses by going to options-anvanced options-book. Which lead me to no longer receive emails from old users and I thought that I could set myself up now. However, I have tried and have always error indicating that the device already has an email associated with it. I contacted the owner who said that she would call cingular and delete. She told me that she called twice and they say that the e-mail address is is more associated with my pin code. I keep trying the installer and your email address and I even wiped the phone and removed the battery several times but always the same message on the existing email address. My provider says that when they check the system, it still shows the device attached to cingular and they cannot make any changes to that. They say that cingular for this.

I contaacted ^ previous owner again and she said she will talk with them again. Is there another way I can clear my PIN and set up my access to e-mail? Please, someone must know another way because it's been a few days now and no access to the e-mail for me on my Berry.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone Windows Installer appears when I turn on computer

I have a blackberry pearl 8110 Rogers and Desktop Manager 5.0.1

Since then every time I turn on the computer, I downloaded the Desktop Manager, I get the windows box install that says "preparing to install - please wait when windows configures Roxio Media Manager.

Further messages coming up to say...

"Gathering of the information... the component you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable... "

"Click OK to try again or enter a different path to the folder containing the installation package"Roxio Media Manager.msi"

The path to the display on the screen is c:\documents and settings\Jeffrey \Application Data\Research Brown (my name) in Motion\BlackBerry\Updates\6852A378-7780-4e08-B655-343C8D2C36AE\SR_MM\

I can't get out of these messages until I try to cancel the installation.  When I cancel, I get an error code 1706.

When I try to uninstall the Fund Manager and reinstall, it won't let me because the system says that there is already an installation is going on, which is the one above.   Nothing happens here...

Could you describe the steps I must take to solve it?   As mentioned, I just can't unstall because the system thinks already there is a current installation.  error code 1500

This problem takes a lot of resources on my computer because I can not also download the latest versions of adobe flash and PDF reader.

    Hello!

I suggest the following steps (reboot insert a lot of restarting your PC... not only restarts, but at full power down). In addition, it is recommended that you are connected to the PC on an account with full administrator rights. In addition, Vista, use the option "Run As Administrator" for everything.

    (1) properly uninstall the RIM DTM software:

KB02206 how to perform a clean uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software

    (2) get a new RIM DTM software download: (I suggest to install the version WITHOUT DTM and turn on mass storage mode transfer files between your pc and the BB)

Download the software for the support of Blackberry

    * Choose the version which is more recent and (if any) compatible with your PIM (if you are synchornizing via USB):

KB12268 Applications supported by BlackBerry Desktop Manager to synchronize

    (3) install DTM on your PC

    (4) start the configuration Organizer:
