BlackBerry Smartphones turning BB turn it back on after auto-off

Hello world!

It can be simple, but I've looked everywhere...

My camera turns off at 12:00 and returns at 06:00.

If I need to make a call at 03:00, how I turn it back on?

Help

Scott

Thank you kijanasmart! I'll give that a go. (I didn't know that the red button was able to...)

  • BlackBerry smartphones I want my BBM back! BBM contacts switched between two phones I own, my wife and me

Hey, my wife's friends are nice, but I can't be in their discussions... I have 2 bb Torch 9800. For no apparent reason about 3 months ago the bbm contacts exchanged between them without any reason. I've been in contact with my phone provider, and they are perplexed and said that it is a problem of bb... How can I get the bbm is switched back to good phones?

I tried to remove and reinstall applications, same old contacts...

Note: I share the same e-mail address on both phones, this could be and question? When I got the phones of MTS, a few years ago, they said it was very good and quite work very well to the top until there are a couple / few months.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Sharing the same e-mail address is no problem... e-mail systems is generally accessed from multiple customers, and the application of enamel on the BB is just another type of e-mail client.

But, if you meant that you share the same BBID on both devices, then it indeed is probably the cause of the problem. It is inadvisable to associate a BBID to more than a SmartPhone BB. Strange things can happen, including the tangle of BBM contacts, as has happened to you.

Since BBM7, BBM contacts are not stored on the device itself... on the contrary, they are stored "in the cloud" with the BBID. Before BBM7 (indeed, "a couple of years"), the BBM contacts were stored on the device itself and therefore would not mingle if a BBID has been shared between several BB devices.

Here's what you need to do:

    1. Decide which of the two devices will retain the existing BBID
    2. Manually clean the BBM contacts to reflect only what desires this device
    3. On the other BB, you need to prepare by making a full backup of the device, because the "fix" will wipe
      • See the link in my sig auto on this post for instructions to complete backup
    4. Once you have this backup, you should separate this another BB the BBID existing and create a new brand for the single device

    5. Once this is done, you can switch to manually re-create all BBM contacts on the 2nd device (no, there is no way to automate this process for you)

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to synchronize old calendar appointments after deleting internet services association

I did some research on my current number with my calendar--I delete my partner of service internet and added it (I had problems with the reception of emails) - I found the following information on the support site - I have all the old entries calendar on my blackberry - like a calendar of "default device" - is anyway so he could re - sync with my outlook calendar?  anyway for this association of device by default on the BB back to one associated with my outlook?  Cannot synchronize the old calendar appointments after the removal of a BlackBerry Internet Service association

    1. Using BlackBerry Desktop Manager clearly the basis of BlackBerry smartphone calendar data.  For instructions, see KB05340.
    2. Manually remove all the BlackBerry Internet Service [CICAL] service books in this way, all calendar entries get dumped into "default device".
      perform the following steps:

      • On the BlackBerry smartphone, go to Options > Advanced Options > service book.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry torch turns is not on after update

I've updated my Torch 9800 and after the update is complete, the phone was turn on and when it finished loading just as it was and I coudnt do anything his watch just the blackberry logo and the line. Someone knows how to fix this?

If the phone does not completely restart, remove the battery and put back in.  Many times this will wake up the phone and it will proceed to a full reboot.

If cela does the trick, you need to connect to BlackBerry Desktop Software and then acknowledged by the software in order to reload the operating system.  If my first suggestion about the battery does not work, then your only other option.  Connect your phone to your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  If your phone is not recognized (which is what it TAKES for you to recover), take a look at this article:

Please, try these two suggestions and post back with your results.

  • Phone of blackBerry Smartphones turn off all while listening to music

I have a Blackberry Torch 9810. About a week or two ago, I updated my phone (cause really jumped to the top and update notification of insistent the * beep * seemed to be the only way for it to leave me alone). If I read correctly the version information, I've updated it's software Bundle 1997 (v 7.1.0.694 platform 5.1.0.507) 7.1. For a little while, everything was fine.

Then, while listening to the music while the comings and goings city, my song came end and nothing came after him. After several seconds of silence, I pulled out my phone and I tried so that he could play the next song (I put it usually just on shuffle and has no way for me to go through the rotation of set). But the entire phone was off. Push the power button failed to return. I flipped open the case back, pulled out the battery, checked the connections and jumped it in. A few seconds later the phone turned on and proceeded to go through the painfully slow loading screen. When I navigated to the section music in the media section, there is a green bar at the bottom of the screen and the number of songs was counted up to scratch, as if I had just it synchronized and set to new music.

Since then, this happened several times. Part of the time that the phone was in my pocket, but not always. It doesn't happen until the end of a song. The phone will not respond to any keys until the battery has been removed and then put back in place.

Therefore, I beg this community, what should I do to fix this? Help, please!

So, I followed the steps you provided for the first solution... except for the first. It is not evident how to remove any previously installed my PC operating system software. Thinking about it now, it seems that I should try control through the available through the Control Panel Add/Remove Programs tool. I just wanted to see if it was the right thing to do. If not, could you tell me how to remove the software?

It's exactly because BB OS packages are installed on the PC/Windows, they would be removed from the PC/Windows in the usual manner. In the normal list ("Add/Remove Programs" or "Uninstall a program", depending on your version of Windows), it would say something like «BlackBerry Device Software»... "and include in this line item, the model BB so number BB OS level it contains. Is it doesn't have these line items, then there is no packet of BB OS installed on the PC... and, for this really works, it must be a (the one you want to put on your BB). What you're aiming for is two positions that focus on the BB because programs installed Windows the list... one for the desktop software and another for the BB OS Package.

    Kallisti333 wrote:

All other operations don't lead to any sort of command prompt to install the operating system

Hmmm... interesting... it may be that the version you have installed on your PC (using the step 3 above) is the version already installed, in which case it could not make an offer. If this is the case, then the best way to 'force' to install for your BB is to work around the Desktop software and proceed directly to the CHARGER. EXE... you go to that via Windows Explorer or CMD/DOS window and then run it. You will find the LOADER. EXE in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader.

You can learn more about this procedure (LOADER. EXE, bypassing Desktop software) here:

Note Although written to "recharge" and the storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade or recharge any BB device model - depends on the operating system package you download and install on your PC.

It is also possible for the Software Desktop jump, if BB OS installed (to the PC) package does not exactly match the model number of the BB. It is also not known if there is no package of BB OS installed on the PC at all. In addition, he will jump if the operating system package came from another carrier and that the SELLER. XML files have not been eliminated.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones turn off GPS.

    I'm new to BlackBerry.

I turned on the GPS to try it out and it works fine.  I then return to the E911.  I expected that GPS would not work then, but it also proved that the browser does not work either.  I activated the GPS back but the browser worked fine.

If I leave the GPS on:

Drain the battery even if I don't use this feature?

Is there a way to autmatically turn it on when the browser is open and turn it off when it closes?

    Thank you.

I just turned off the GPS on my lap and was able to use the BlackBerry browser with no problems. You don't need GPS to use the BlackBerry browser.

  • Notifications of calendar to blackBerry Smartphones turn on the phone

I searched for the answer and can't find it.  I have a Blackberry 8330 and love it.  If the phone is turned off and I have a notification callback to the calendar (for a meeting), it will turn the phone back on.  It's very irritating in a film or in a plane - when your phone is turned off. I know how to go in the profile and advanced and make changes.  However, under calendar, it doesn't give me that les options options 'ring', 'volume', 'number of beeps', 'repeat notification' to remove the flashing LED or "number of vibrations."   Help, please.  He's on the phone to my husband too.

Is this a feature of the phone or carrier?  I have Sprint as a carrier.  One of my friends has Verizon and its not done.

IT IS EVERYTHING!  I have my "auto on / off", set up on my phone.  If I don't get this option when I turn off the phone with the key.  But if I'm going to "turn off the power" on the screen, it gives me this opportunity.  And it works, it keeps the phone off.

    Thank you very much!!!

  • BlackBerry smartphones turn off the Blackberry "BOLD"

OK, I know this sounds stupid, but what is the correct procedure to turn off and restart the Blackberry "BOLD"? I hav tried holding in the key power, I get the stop message, press any key to cancel, I leave it alone and the backlight turns off, left alone for 10 minutes and then press the Power button again and the phone comes to life instantly, with the phone in the same position as when I wanted it off, i.e. it looks like it's just in mode 'sleep' as it is consumed in less than a second. I resorted to the battery, but it becomes laborious. And I cannot locate the info in the manual, it says just press the switch! I have also tried holding down until it seems to power off, but alas he always goes in mode 'sleep', please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

  • BlackBerry smartphones turn off WiFi on Pearl 8120 on Orange

I want to be able to turn on and turn off the WiFi on my pearl. I am new to blackberry so I am struggling to find how to turn it off. I have worked on how to disable the Bluetooth, but not WiFi.

I want to turn it off, because I'm not a big user of access to the internet and I am trying to improve the life of the battery. Also, I guess I don't need WiFi to receive regular emails.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you for that.

He has been to find the connection management option that has been the hardest part. There is an icon go on the home screen which then brings you to the display of connection management. Once I found it was easy!

The screens on the Pearl Orange network supplied appear to be different from the standard.

  • 'Data Connection Refused' blackBerry smartphones turn off the notification!

Hello, I'm on sick leave for the next three months and my work doesn't pay for my phone, and I really didn't want to know how many emails are piling up in my Inbox, while I'm away, so I called AT & T today and cancelled my internet package.  So, right now, I'm only using my blackberry as a phone and calendar, tasks, etc.  There is a notification that appears on top of my phone that says 'Data Connection Refused'.  I looked through the options and I can't understand how to transform that turned off, any suggestions?

    Thank you!!!

This means that your SIM is not provisioned for BlackBerry services... which is obvious as your request to cancel your BlackBerry data plan. To delete "Data Connection Refused' on top of your device go Options -> Mobile network -> Data Service: Off.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones turn off email work on BB to the office where e-mail comes to my computer

  • BlackBerry Smartphones turn off an option

I don't want to get confirmation on my Blackberry, every time I have send an email from my Outlook to my laptop.  How to turn off this option?

Is it a problem that I can do on the phone or should I load the program of Blackberry Desktop on my computer for a fix?

    You should

    1. Go to your Messages folder > press the Menu key > Options > General Options > scroll down for > hide sent Messages = Yes. And save.
    2. Or, Alternatively, contact your BES administrator and ask it to disable the synchronization of your Outlook, messages sent to your device. Sorta, I doubt they make for it, so stick to #1.
  • Phone of blackBerry Smartphones turns after the screen freeze

Hey, I got my BB about 2 days ago. It worked fine for about half a day after being fully charged, but while using it, the screen froze. The power button has not been at this point operation so I removed the battery.

After putting the battery, the phone now won't turn back on. The red LED is not at all sure, the device is not recognized by USB, im quite stuck. Is that what I can do or should I return it for a replacement?

    Thank you

It seems that you have tried everything, from a point of view of the user. A new device should not cause this error and immediate replacement is recommended.

  • BlackBerry smartphones turn off at & t Internet so that it uses only Wifi

I have a data limit on my plan and I was under the impression when I got access to a wifi network, say to my apartment, that my phone will automatically use the wifi instead of the information At & t network.  Is it possible to disable data At & t on my phone?  I know that I need, whether through the company, but if I could turn it on and off my phone so I can control when he access internet, I want to do.  Still receive phone calls and texts but only use internet when I chose to use it.

    -SLangston

I think that Jsanders has reason, but if you want to be sure, you can go into 'mobile network options' and disable data services.  This way you can still receive phone calls but it access data via AT & T until what you turn off Won't back on.
