  1. Using BlackBerry Desktop Manager clearly the basis of BlackBerry smartphone calendar data.  For instructions, see KB05340.
  2. Manually remove all the BlackBerry Internet Service [CICAL] service books in this way, all calendar entries get dumped into "default device".

  • Error 0x8004fd28 of blackBerry Smartphones on the synchronization of calendar with Desktop Manager 5.0

    Hello

I've recently upgraded to the Desktop Manager 5.0 and have been unable to sync it with my camera (8320 - T Mobile) since then. I followed the instructions at http://supportforums.blackberry.com/rim/board/message?message.uid=67297 to create the synchronization log files, but have been unable to decipher the contents of these logs to find the problem. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    Try this KB:

KB16153 0x8004fd28 error during the synchronization of calendar

Unfortunately, I've never needed to decipher the log files... but I know others around here.

I think there is a setting for the back up to sync the calendar under calendar of ActiveSync options.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not send and receive E-Mails / BB Internet Service does not

    Hello

got a 9000 "BOLD" for Christmas and just move my Pearl 8100 via Switch Device Manager to 9000 "BOLD". One problem so far: although I copied all the data including my accounts of personal emails from the bead on the "BOLD", I can't send / receive E-Mails.

Just found that Blackberry Internet Services do not now. If I understand the manual, I have to activate the device. I just sent the message HRT, but is it enough?

In the email setup screen I just find the configuration of the company, not an option to set my personal E-mail-accounts.

    What should do?

    TIA

    Ralf

    Hello

OK, now it works. The "BOLD" had to be activated manually by my carrier; He didn t connect automatically as it should. Then I had to make several soft resets, changed the unit - so I needed another site (country), not that we mention here - and finally the "BOLD" connected to the Initernet - finally!

So, the BB seems to be a bit complicated; never encountered such problems using my Pearl. But in any case, now it works.

    Thanks for your support!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to synchronize BB 9800 Torch with Outlook calendar

I used to be able to sync my BB 9800 Torch calendar with the calendar in Outlook.  It seems is not possible.  Is there a solution or just an omission of BB to inform

Hello and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, such a short report, it is quite difficult to determine anything... "seems to be not not possible" is rather a sparse amount of details. What has changed between the last time it worked and the first time it didn't? Exactly how the problem manifested? Are there any error messages? Details always improve comprehension and understanding is a key prior to provide useful guidance.

In any case, I say this thread:

It begins with a process to start properly and there is an exchange of views, and there is also a post (15) with links to earlier versions of the Software Desktop, if those who are needed. Note that this is not, by any means, guaranteed to work... but it worked to much to solve the problems they have.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to synchronize bold 9700 with the outlook calendar

    Organizing sync cable

I am able to set up the synchronization of outlook but not outlook calendar sychronisation address book.

I proceed successfully through the configuration of the Office for the calendar, and then, when he returns to the screen "Select application", it disables the calendar option and she loses the setting. I don't seem to be able to go directly into the advanced settings for mapping files. Could someone help with this please?

Problem solved--simply rebooted a few times and it seemed to clear himself.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to access the calendar

I have a Blackberry Storm phone and while I was delighted by his performance and functionality I recently had the following problem.
When I press the calendar icon, the unit freezes. I have to press the home button for at least three times to release the freezer unit, and then I am able to select another function. The calendar does not display and I can't open this function via the Menu button either.
I synchronize my phone with my laptop using the Device Manager and everything seems fine synchronization.
My calendar seems to sync very well also. He is said to be a updated.
I have a number of appointments I need access when I'm out and about and the timing of freezing is a pain.
    Can you please help me.

    Thank you very much

Well what can I say... you're on point. Remove the battery and a re-boot worked.

Thank you very much. It has been confusing me for over a week now.

If you were a decent distance, I would share the remnants of my Easter egg with you... or... my last Rolo.

Desktop Manager prompted me to add data that I accepted, but once I'm out, I can't see not 'outlook' on my device don't see I "peripheral" on outlook

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to synchronize error 4

    Hi guys

I had problems initially, synchronization of my Storm with my iMac in November 08, but after the update everything has worked, however I just got a second storm as the Send/call button is released.

My new storm came with the V4.7.0.78 version and my previous version was 4.7.0.76. surely an upgrade did not cancel the update of the USB driver. That said I am now getting error 4 rather than 1 error I tried to search but to no avail any help appreciated

Hi guys please ignore all of the above problem has been the great wally who used the phone Me!

It seems that when I entered the password for my blackberry which is the same as before I inadvertently put a tiny where he was previously a Cap

    What a Muppet

so now you know 4 error means there is a problem with the password in PocketMac

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to synchronize Internal Error #4238

Synchronization of every day without any problem, today I get error notice that says: ON FOUND of DUPLICATE RECORDS Of the DEVICE... When I open the configuration tab and view the log , it contains a list internal error 4238. with not many options. I restarted my computer, I have restarted my BB, out the battery and replaced, without success. Help!

I found a few things and was able to solve this problem.

    1. Go in sync / Configuration - VIEW the LOG and see where the error occurs.  In my case, it's the calendar.  But in other cases, it may be contacts.
    2. Get sync and go in the backup and restore, click Advanced.  Right SIDE, you will see the device databases - choose the offending database (calendar in my case) and clear it, then close out of the window.
    3. Come back in SYNCH - CONFIGURATION and try again.  If it STILL does not respond, repeat step 2, then you might want to try and device overright - IE choose one-way simple config Outlook of device as indicated in the previous post.
    4. Once its done successfully, you can reset all the sync options back to normal (back to 2 say synch etc..)
  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to synchronize with Outlook after the release of 6.0 Bundle 3084

Just updated software Bundle 3084 6.0 and get an error message of synchronization on a record that is not in my outlook or my BB.  I uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted my computer and BB many times.  Nothing works!

    Please advise on a solution.

    Phone = BB Bold 9650

The record that was the end of the synchronization has been a recurring event to Outlook.  Although the error did a "precise date", I had to delete the entire series and re-sync.  Problem solved.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I synchronize to a server MS Exchange via the Internet Service of BB?

I am looking to buy a "BOLD" to synchronize my email to work thanks to an MS Exchange Server.  Since it is also a personal phone, my company is going to make me pay the license fee to connect via the BB Enterprise Server.  My question is if the Enterprise Server is the only way to synchronize emails from MS Exchange Server, or can I synchronize my email, contacts, calendar, and tasks using Internet Service, BB?

    Thanks for the help!

You cannot synchronize your emails without Exchange Server.

To synchronize the calendar, contacts and memos, you don't need the Exchange, only with BIS is sufficient.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones can only synchronize only Contacts and calendar?

I wanted to replace my Palm Treo with the new BlackBerry 8310.  With the Palm, I could synchronize my calendar and contacts with Lotus Notes 7 through a 3rd party software without going through courier service.  It does not appear that I can install the BlackBerry software without e-mail service because he was unable to access Lotus Notes data.  Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help of glasses bifocals!  I used Palm products so far and with this being my first BlackBerry device, I'm a novice user.  Your advice was helpful.  I did download the latest version of the Desktop Manager (4.6).  The LNOptions.dll with the 4.6 ends by works very well.  I found that I needed to open Desktop Manager then plug my 8310.  It's not as long as the phone is connected, I could set up my syncroization correctly.  Strange little sequence there, but you sent me down the correct path.

    Thanks again,
