BlackBerry Smartphones unknown numbers URGENT HELP REQUIRED!

I have a unknown number call me very often every day and it's very boring, quite surprising and at the point of harassment. I answered the call once and I was regarding pimps in search of escorts and they keep calling me. How can I stop calling me! How can I block it?

1. If it is really harassing and you feel threatened, call your local law enforcement, especially if you have requested that many do not come again.

2. download a third party app from AppWorld as Mr. number Call Blocker. There are many apps that can block calls.

The version of the OS in the mine is 7.1.0.746 (2108), I was invited by the service 7.1 bundle downgrade and backup center 1646, which I am not ready to do what it takes forever and I have to reinstall all the software back and set up e-mail. What would you suggest?

This happens usually when application runs in the background, or because of any unknown third-party application installed within our system, or due to lack of memory. Reboot to shoot some time A battery is enough to solve this problem. If press and hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will appear a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. are running in the background, if they then close them properly.

We should always try to close Applications correctly - avoid using key end to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Do not leave your browser open on a page of Web active when not in use. If programs are running in the background, that this will lead to problems that you are experiencing now. BBM contacts are not saved with Protect. However, using the same BBID, they will be restored if your previous 9790 had BBM 7 installed. Your BBID restore BBM contacts.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones SMS full Notification - help please

I'm at my wits end with my Blackberry Torch 9810.  I have very little text messages in my Inbox, I lost the lot for some reason my phone has decided to change some date & in the future and trying to resolve that, in my opinion, I wiped everything, do not know what I did a few weeks ago, but they disappeared.

Now I get notifications that my SMS Inbox is full and I need to delete messages.  Can someone help me I have a lot of messages on the handset and cannot believe it is complete unless there is an option I need to select/deselect.  The user guide is useless.

I changed a parameter in the past as text messages seem to be endangered if they were in a month or so old, but all that I did I can't and don't know how to handle all my text messages myself.  My old iphone allowed me to keep the text as long messages I wanted with what appeared to be a very large storage area, now I just want to throw this thing in the bin.  Unfortunately I have 18 months remaining on my contract (business) so I can do nothing about it.

I transferred my acct (by Sasktel) to the Blackberry curve of my son he no longer uses. (I'm drying my "BOLD" in a bag of rice and I hope that it will work again in the coming days?!).

My question is did anyone know how I can get all my information backups "BOLD" (contacts, emails, texts, bbm surveys) and get only their transferred on the curve that I currently use. I feel completely lost without it!

    Thank you for your time.

You can not. Do not forget that you are using a BlackBerry smartphone and not a lower mark. If you can easily reset the password, so someone else could.

You maybe just bite the bullet on this one. I just hope you did a backup of the data with BlackBerry Desktop Software and/or BlackBerry Protect.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Indeed, some of the newer OS levels indeed need of subscription, the mobile operator, a data plan which is sufficient to allow certain specific services BB... If not in place, then the most recent operating system available on the device - by default, this one is not something...

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (3) download and install to your PC, the BB OS package you want:

    (4) If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    (5) run the Desktop software only once, but do not connect the BB. Just launch it and then stop it.

    (6) now, disconnect the computer from the Internet.

    (7) run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC. If, during the process, your BB votre BB a '507' error, simply unplug the power cord of the BB USB and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    (8) after that it's over, and reconnect the PC to the Internet.

It's small it being connected to the Internet which is the problem... the Desktop software checks to see if the BB is associated with a proper carrier data plan... If not, he refuses to allow the use of the latest operating system. Disconnected from the 'Crazy' Internet PC Desktop software and allows the installation to proceed.

Oh - and don't forget to save.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Email problems! Help!

I wanted a BB for centuries now, finally got a BB Torch 9860 yesterday and now my head is spinning with all the problems I encounter. First of all, I can only access Facebook via my connection wi - fi home, once I hit my wi - fi and try to access FB using my mobile connection, it's just can't, why? I never had these problems with my HTC Android mobile. However, my big concern is that I can not put an e-mail account, the only option I gave up in game is to set up a business account? What is c? And where can I get the password required? And why am I not given the opportunity to configure my gmail account.

Someone please help, I'm really bad now and have lost almost all day searching the internet without getting no answer. I don't want to give up my new BB, but I think it may just be easier to the box upward and turn off site.

Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

You have to, to get the push RIM email functions you are looking for, as well as services of BlackBerry data such as the Web browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.
