BlackBerry Smartphones USB hard disk

Hello everyone

Is it possible to connect a USB drive/hard disk to storm?

Thank you

- But you can connect to the storm and the USB to your PC, and then you would have three players added to the PC and could then move things between them.

  • How to make a visible USB hard disk for a virtual machine on ESXI 4.1?

    Hi all

As I am new to the world of vmware ESXI, I always make mistakes or I don't undertand all therefore be complete :-).

So I have a HP Proliant ML 350 G6 Server installed with ESXI 4.1 and I want to connect a USB hard disk to a virtual machine (SBS 2K 8). Currently, the virtual machine is not able to see the hard drive.

I already add a USB controller to the virtual machine, but my USB HARD drive is still not visible to my virtual machine.

    Can you help on that?

    Thank you

    Michael

Next, add a USB device to the virtual computer (in the change settings tab), there are different things, USB controller and USB devices. Sometimes, you may have to restart the virtual machine.

    Hello

As far as I know that booting from USB stick or HARD drive is not supported by the BIOS for this series of mobile.
As far as I know you can boot from the HARD, ODD, LAN and USB FDD (floppy) disk, but I think that you can not boot from USB HDD.

    See you soon

  • Start of the external (USB) HARD disk Windows

    Dear apple supports,

I have install Windows 10 external HARD disk and connect with my Mac by USB. When I select the system startup on boot disk is windows 10. I got a message "you cannot change the diskette on the selected disk. The bless tool was unable to put the current startup disk. »

How can I start windows from disk external HARD on my Mac (MacBook Pro (retina, 13-inch, early 2015), OS X EL Capitan v10.11.1)

There are two ways to install Windows on your MacBook Pro. You can use the Boot Camp Assistant, located here details: http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/ or you can use a virtual machine, Parallels, Fusion or VirtualBox. Details are found on their respective sites.

  • The Vixia HF G30 allows a direct copy of video files from an SD card on an external USB hard disk

I am considering buying a G30 and need to know if she will allow a direct copy of video files from an SD card on an external USB hard drive.  The manual is not clear on this point.

Not to my knowledge (I own a G30 HF).  There is no present on-the-go USB functionality.

Personally, I do not miss such a feature, because it causes all kinds of compatibility problems, especially with regard to the power of external USB hard drives. In addition, without any file manager, backup of your video files into a nightmare. I must admit that I am rather Cannon after not on an often incomplete function development budget and have it spent instead on the main features of the camera, such as optics. Of course, this is just my very subjective opinion, and other HF G30 clients may have different opinions on this.

In order to back up my video files on the fly and without having to carry a laptop, I recently bought a made by Hanso Hyperdrive colorspace UDMA2 and installed a 1 TB in her drive. When on the ground and after having taken my shots I just pop in my inside SD cards and the device of copies on the video files to 17Mbyte per second. At home, I plug in the UDMA2 in my Linux video workstation using a regular USB cable and pull the video from the mobile disk. The UDMA2 also did incremental backups and comes with a basic file manager. While it has a color screen, it can't play back video. It is a video and photo backup dedicated device, nothing more. But it does a decent job on exactly that.

  • HSF USB + hard disk Partition data damaged

I have a USB to disk 2 used for all my data. I accidentally fell Lion Recovery Disk Wizard in this regard, instead of my USB, to make a bootable installation. Now, I can't mount the drive.

    Output:diskutil list

    /dev/disk4 (external, physical): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme *2.0 TB disk4

I also have a disk faulty 1 TB, and ideally it should show as:

    /dev/disk7 (disk image): #: TYPE NAME SIZE IDENTIFIER 0: GUID_partition_scheme +998.1 GB disk7 1: EFI EFI 209.7 MB disk7s1 2: Apple_HFS Time Machine Backups 997.7 GB disk7s2

I am missing 2 partitions, is there anyway I can fix it the structure of partition?

I tried TestDisk, Assistant data and drill to drive, but nothing did.

Try to repair the partitions with Disk Warrior. If your partitions are repaired successfully, then your drive is saved along with the data inside. The only problem is Disk Warrior allows a free demonstration test.

    I hope this helps!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones USB connection - detect "BOLD" as hard drive problem

    Hi guys,.

Usually, when you connect the "BOLD" to your PC a message is raised on the ability to use your phone detected as hard drive. And it gives you the ability to not see this message again. I accidentally clicked "do not see this message again."

How can I reset it so when I connect my "BOLD" to my PC I can select as a hard drive without having to load the Desktop Manager.

    Thanks in advance.

Under Options, memory, mass storage Mode Support. Set to Yes to turn on the device as a hard drive. Also available, it is Auto enable Mass Storage Mode when connected. You can set it to Yes, No, or Prompt.

  • IX2 - dl does not support USB hard disk

    Hello!

I use an ix2 - dl as a backup at home. I recently upgraded from 2 TB WD red 2 (WD20EFRX) for 2 hard drives 4 TB (ST4000VN000) of Hitachi (two configurations were / are RAID1), and the upgrade went through flawlessly. But there is a problem: in the old configuration, I used a third drive connected via USB as a backup in case of failure of the NAS itself offline. Since I doubled the storage in the RAID array, I wanted to double the external storage as well. I plugged the third 4 TB on my homeserver disk, formatted (NTFS) and plugged my NAS ix4 - 300 d and just of stood and was used as the 2 TB drive in my ix2 - dl. However, when I plugged in my ix2 - dl it just does not appear here. I activated the end looked in SSH and foundout, he got during a few seconds under/mnt/ext /. said lsusb shows the drive is still there and parted and parted lists the disc correctly. I re-formatted it ext3 and ext4 and in both cases the reader is not always mounted on the correct mounting points. I created/mnt/test and mounted the USB it there using mount-t ext3/dev/sdc1/mnt/test, which works; Now I can access the drive via ssh. However when I tried mount - bind/mnt/test / / mnt/pools/A/A0 /respectively, I can open this folder, but cannot access any file in this directory. In addition, this workd only workaround until the next reboot, thereafter, the unit can be mounted in all.

Why this drive works perfectly on my ix4 - 300 d one isn't quite on my ix2 - dl? I'm at my wits end with this issue. any help would be appreciated.

    Hello Firestart3r,

From my experience, most of the devices and firmwares don't mount not an external drive that is greater than 2 TB:
    https://Lenovo-na-en.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/A_ID/34774/kW/external

I understand that one device is to mount the drive while the other is not, but as a planned restriction, the only solution I can really offer is to partition the external hard drive to match the limitation.

This will often allow to be mounted.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones USB to PC options

I recently bought an AT & T Blackberry Bold 9900, so far, it's a great phone. This is also my first smartphone and of course my first Blackberry.

I'm having a terrible time connecting it to my computer. I downloaded the software on my computer and can connect using bluetooth but when I plug the USB cable into the computer and my phone, it will load only. What I have to change to make a connection with my computer to share files via the USB port?

The first time I plugged the phone into the USB port in the computer, the phone itself has asked me what I wanted to do, then I chose 'Fees' or something like that, I don't remember exactly... I was happy to have a new phone and was not much more attentive.

I wiped the memory clear, thinking that maybe reset this option. It does not work. Any suggestions? It's extremely frustrating, I hope it is something simple that I'm on.

Wipe the memory and reset the phone isn't all that will be a big problem for me. All that is on the phone right now is the very basic stuff, I haven't downloaded a library of applications or anything like that. Thanks in advance!

  • Store.E TV + - copy files from the USB HARD disk

I have Stor.E TV +, and I'm trying to copy the data from my stick of fash of the USB device on my hard drive without using a computer. I can find the files and the destination, but I can't copy them.

    Any help?

    Hey,.

I put t think you can copy between different mediums using Stor.E TV + without a computer. I checked the user manual and I found the following information on the USB device:

    USB device
In this menu, you can browse the external USB device content. Press OK to confirm. If no USB device is connected to the USB port, there is no record of USB device shown.

So I think that you can browse on USB stick and view/open files but not copy.

    What do you think?

    Hello!

My laptop is a M30-841, with Windows XP Home Edition SP2 (automatic updates). Note that there is no exotic software installed.

I have a problem with an external hard drive purchased recently.

It is in a USB 2.0 enclosure, connected by a cable to a port USB of the Satellite.

Start the log on to Windows, the drive is not enabled:

A small image at this stage: http://black-winny.site.voila.fr/images/Etat_du_disque_au_lancement_de_Windows.png

So after that, I disconnect and reconnect the cable... the drive is enabled and find his letter (g):

Note: The problem does not occur with this kit used in the same way on a different computer (my computer at home).

You have a solution to propose to correct activation at startup of Windows.

    Thank you very much!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones USB problem projector connection? No HDMI option...

Have a new PlayBook and look forward to using it for work presentations.  My projector is reasonably new (~ 1 year) and do NOT have HDMI connection, but it has a USB input.  I tried to connect my PlayBook to the projector using the USB-micro USB cable supplied with the PlayBook.  I then get a message popup on the PlayBook, stating

"Please start the"PlayBook Drivers Installer"on your computer if it is not started automatically, yet.

BlackBerry Desktop Manager allows you to synchronize media and back up your device and much more.  To download, visit www.blackberry.com/desktop/.

When I disconnect the USB port of the projector, this message disappears.  I checked my PlayBook software (latest version loaded it tells me), tried to find this driver on or via the desktop and App world software as well as on BlackBerry.com and cannot get to anything or any topic that mentions this problem?

Any help would be appreciated!  First presentation is in a week and I would rather not lugging the laptop.

I don't have the card, but if I were to get one, go with

    http://www.Amazon.com/HDMI-composite-S-video-converter-3RCA/DP/B0047PDBP0

I don't have a playbook (yet), but you would connect the Playbook to the converter with a Micro HDMI cable

and the converter would connect to the projector with svideo cable or components.
