  While playing the songs on Itunes, my MacBook Air switches off automatically after 20 minutes.  This occurs regardless whether I am Mac on battery or a power adapter...   My phone has decided to start playing the sound at startup, shutdown and when I plug in my headphones.  It will do in silence and all alerts off profile as well.  No idea how I can get it to stop?

  It seems that you have sound enabled on your BlackBerry® smartphone event.  To disable this feature, go to Options > Advanced Options > accessibility and change sounds event at no.

  I have a Torch 9800 and the volume buttons on the right side of my phone doesn't seem to work with any music program (Pandora, Slacker Radio, etc.) than the normal music program that comes with the phone. Is there something I need to do to set up the keys for the music of third party programs? It is used to work very well with these programs, but not more!

  Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  Now try these volume buttons while using third party applications.

  I can't play the videos on youtube or any other site... everytime I try it gives an error saying

  Cannot find web address. Check that the address is valid.

  I have read the videos earlier, suddenly the aircraft started showing this error. I can access any other content on the web.

  From a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

  Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

  If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

• Message tones assigned to blackBerry Smartphones do not play

  The assigned tone for the messages folder plays. I disabled that I thought that it may be too mounted the tone for emails and SMS, but still they do not play. Am I to assume that you hear different tones for SMS and email folders?

  I asked this question in the other two forums without any solution to my problem so members may here learn more.

  I just wish I could resolve this issue with BB direct that the handset is only 5 days and still no solution.

  Has done this when I got it. Looks like a phone call at 3 and is not funny at all!

  EDIT: changed volumes ringtones from high to med and started working. VERY STRANGE!

  I just received my brand new tour, and I can't play a looser Radio. Everything downloaded correctly, the program loads, then when he tries to play a song, he says 'could not go track' then 'an error has occurred. Please try your request again later. • Error message from blackBerry Smartphones: media being played is of an unsupported format

  I have ringtones voice notes that I recorded with my phone that worked. My ringtones have stopped playing, and I can't read my notes of the voice. When I tried to play media, an error message appears and says: media being played is in a format not supported. I'm almost certain that I did not change parameters. It might be possible because I have kids, but I do not. Help, please

  Try a battery pull if you please, with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery 15 seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot the device. This will clear all hide as restarting a PC. Then try again and see if the problem persists.

  If you did the above test, remove the media card and insert again.

• BlackBerry Smartphones WMV files play do not

  This happened several times... so I don't know if just a parameter that must be changed.  When someone sends me a .wmv file, it seems to download correctly.  When I try to play the file, the normal controls appear at the bottom... but I have no video, only a black screen.  I can hear audio playback, and it shows the counter below with the time remaining and elapsed time for the video.

  It's the video codes... you can not read the WMV on the Tour.  You will need to download to PC, convert to Blackberry friendly format and reload.

  This morning, I was able to listen to music from my MP3 but when I arrived at work and connected by BB Tour 9630 to my laptop that I received a message asking if I wanted to connect to the storage of media, I clicked on no and now my music won't play.

  Message:! Media card is not available because the mass storage Mode is currently serves.

  Encryption mode: no

  Mode support mass Store: Off

  How can I return my music?

  OK, for some reason, it considers that it is still connected.

  Restart the device: with the BlackBerry device powered on, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  Give it a few minutes after the restart to scan the media card. That's going to happen in the background, you won't see it.

  Then try to play the music again.

• Error on blackBerry Smartphones try to play podcasts on my 9700

  Relatively new BB; This is my first posting. I downloaded a few podcasts from the iTunes store (Rick Steves visits to tourist sites in Rome) first to my computer and then I created a folder on my memory card and copied (as indicated by a T-Mobile tech support person). After some effort, I find the folder. When I click on 'play' on a file I get the message "an error occurred trying to play the media. Now what? I have to download an application (iTunes?) to read the files?

  Also, I can't download directly on the BB, without the computer?

  I hesitate to ask, but you were such a source, I. I tried to download the small MP3 file directly on the BB, but received a message saying that it was too big. Alternative is to download on the computer, and then drag and drop for BB.

  I downloaded media to the PC.

  (1) I wanted the full benefit of my virus checking software.

  (2) one here I wanted to analyze media and make some comparisons before I placed on press card.

  That's what I did the other day with the version of iTunes. But now when I plug in the BB in the computer, I hear all the noises appropriate beeps and and the drive 'F' appears in the Explorer. But when I click on that drive a message if poster "insert a disc into drive f" happens to any order, I followed or if I turn the computer or BB or disable first.

  F: drive your card or the memory of your device?  Who has iTunes on it?

  You usually see 2 drives one is the memory of the device and one is the media card?

  It should recognize the BB as any other player, right? This isn't. I'm guessing (hoping?) it's just a simple solution, I don't know.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Volume level adjusts when Changing music titles?

  Hi all

  This is my first post on this site, so I hope that I put my request in the right place.  My company gave me a Blackberry Bold 9000, and naturally I use it for many things not to work!

  When you listen to music, I find that the volume increases every time that you go to the next track.  It is very annoying, I'm always for breath with noise and having to turn down the volume on the phone.

  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Had the phone replaced by Telstra (as I was under a business plan).  The new phone works very well.  Suggest the previous one was defective.  Thanks for the help everyone.

  Have you tried a battery pull?

  With the phone, remove the battery, wait 10 seconds, then put the battery back in and waiting for the BB start (about 5 minutes)

  Some other things to consider... are the music files in the same format (mp3 or other)?  There are a few file formats which will not read on a BB, this could have something to watch - see this Web page (select your model of BB): http://tinyurl.com/2cxqnbk  

  Also, I experienced problems with the mp3s that plays fine on my computer (Mac), but once on my BB have not played or caused some undesirable problems with my BB because they had a 'virus' incorporated in them, which has not reacted on my Mac, but it was on my BB.

• Video player for blackBerry Smartphones will not play

  I downloaded a video last night and went to play there was an error message that came in saying there was a problem with the drive. I can't play all the videos that worked before. Any suggestions?

  Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
