  I downloaded the most current BB Desktop software if I could fix it.

  My problem is that even if the phone is recognized, it does not connect...

  At the bottom right it says it connects, but never does.

  My other BB 8520 is easily connected & I can access all the options in the menu drop-down menu...

  When we enter the wrong password longer then 10 (by default) it will wipe this device by removing all the data within the camera, if you previously had your device Unocked then no it won't lock your device to the carrier after a reset.

  I received the same message of Whatsapp to download the latest version on Friday.  I tried 4 times.  I got stuck about 1000 KB in download of 7000 kb.  Something about the BRI... I contacted Whatsapp.  They me sent instructions to go to the site that you suggested.  Yes, I did.  I could not download the latest version.  WhatsApp then told me to uninstall Whatsapp and they provided instructions written for me.  I followed these instructions and then tried to re - install Whatsapp.   I have been unsuccessful.  I then noticed Saturday that my entire directory has been removed.

  Nothing more.  As I use Google Chrome, I don't think I could back up my directory and didn't know that Blackberry stores no data on my Sim Card.  I went to my Service Provider shop and they quickly downloaded Whatsapp on a different site, not that proposed by Whatsapp.  They did not however my directory which has about 1 100 contacts.  I then went to the center of Technical Service and all talking with a technician, a woman came and told me she heard my conversation and she was there for the same problem.  Unable to download Whatsapp, Whatsapp uninstalling and the disappearance of his repertoire.  It would therefore appear to be 2 problems... that Whatsapp is capable of shooting one's entire repertoire, and the BB is not able to get something like a directory.  Today, my provider told me that they are not able to help find my repertoire and that they keep in their servers.   They suggested that I join this forum, what I did as a first timer.   Your thoughts?

  I looked around their site (BB) trying to find a phone or text support number.  I still can't sync calendar and get an warning 0x3b21 code when I try.  I have a couple of days before I keep the phone or return it.  Back is fine now.  I can't believe that for their phone support is so elusive.  I appreciate the work of you trying to solve problems on this forum, but blackberry is not a real tech support center? I just thought that I was frustrated when I couldn't get tech support English speaking personel service for my Dell.  It is a real frustration. I spent hours trying to get this to work on two different computers, both with Outlook 2000. I have re-installed with different messaging and options of Director and get nowhere.  If he's not going to work, would be someone just told me that Outlook 2000 don't sync with a 8310 and I will return to my cheep phone that works seamlessly.

  US Cellular is my carrier and what I discovered that the more cell phone companies have only a 'line' and since during a brief moment when it is check e-mail person can call you. Would be nice if it would show that you had a missed call. What I've done is cut my audit of the data and only turn it on to check my email or surf the web address manually. I hope they airs in a substitute so that you had a choice of which had priority.

  There are several reasons...

  Each company uses different radio technologies (by example, 3G, 4G, EDGE, CDMA, GSM, etc.), and it's simply impossible build a device with the possibility for all people still keep within the limits of physical size which keep it comfortable to use. To take account of all technologies would require several physical inside radios, and it would mean that the physical case must expand to organize it all, that would make it too large for most users. If our world of technology for mobile devices would settle to only one or two technologies, then perhaps these radios could fit, but it is not like that today. Therefore, for each carrier, included radios must take account of this carrier, but would limit the device to use on a different medium (for example, one that uses a different radio, including the technology does not support).

  Another reason could be exclusive arrangements... it's possible I think for a carrier in order to organize the distribution of a specific device, which would limit so only one device to a carrier only.

  Yet another reason might be support challenges. When a carrier signs a particular pattern to sell, they also sign to provide all the support first line for this model to their end-users. Sells the carrier more models, the largest staff have to be able to provide this support.

  There may be other reasons as well, but the authoritative source for information regarding what devices will be available from the carriers will be the carriers themselves... they are responsible to choose what devices they want to carry and support.

  Hi, I have a curve that is 6 months old.  After that I received a MMS with sound my earspeaker no longer works. I have to remove the battery to get it to work. I understand that there may be a patch to download to fix this problem.

  I need to download software blackberry on my computer but not sure which version to download the site Web of BB? v4.7, v4.6 etc.

  Can anyone help?  I really want to wear this for the IT guys at work if I can do it myself, but I'm afraid I will screw up
