  I've updated backup contact on my curve 8520 2 months since my phone has hanged. All buttons have seized work.   When you get a chance, do a battery pull.  When the red light goes on the front of the phone, hold down the back button all the time while the phone is in boot.  When initialization is complete, the phone goes into safe mode.

  With Outlook 2013 (64 bit in any case) Blackberry supports more synchronization with link (apparently and other posts).

  I'll buy a passport, if the synchrnoization was incorporated with mixture but not otherwise.

  I'm ONLY interested in Contacts and calendar.  I'm a consultant independent and my clients communicate appointments for meetings with Outlook on my PC. I have to be able to synchrnize those with my Smartphone.  I am told, but I have not confirmed that it is possible with a Windows phone.

  @John_Clark is correct, that mixture of BlackBerry allows you to view the data stored on the device using your computer or tablet. It does not support synchronization of data contacts and calendar data. For syncornize these data, you will need to use BlackBerry link for Windows that supports Outlook 2013 64 bit (source).

  If you run into issues the first thing I would recommend to ensure that you use the most up to the BlackBerry link version.   Windows 10.  When I try to save my Z10, I receive the error message that it can't write to the backup folder, so I need to change the permissions, or change the backup folder.

  I checked the permissions and there are all the granted permissions.

  I can't figure out how to change the backup folder.  Is no longer an option in settings, and although I can change the name of the save file back box, it won't let me change the path.  Custom changes to what is recorded gives the same error.

  I can sync very well, but I just can't back up.

  To change the location of the backup file, you should first be connected to the Link.  Then select 'Préférences' at the top right.  In the "Général" tab, you should see the option to change the folder backup at the bottom of the list. Click the file folder icon and you will be prompted to navigate to where you want to backup to be saved.

  You should contact your wireless service provider and ask them to you degrades to the BlackBerry.  BlackBerry will not communicate with or through this forum.  It is a peer to peer forum as stated at the top of this screen under the "Welcome!"

  I need instructions on how to back up my passport to my PC.  I've never done this before, so I don't know how to start.

  It's hard to say. There are many discussions opened by users without a problem with the link. That's why I said I hope your solution is in this Knowledge Base article, because the problem may be something else and difficult to resolve.

• BlackBerry software impossible high return / backup Z10

  My camera don't save. It reads, "backup in progress. Do not disconnect your device' and "Preparing to save" and "backup in progress, cautioned: keep your device connected to your computer via the USB port." The progress bar then shows, "0% complete," then instantly goes to "100% complete" and then the window closes. In link BB under the Back Up & restore then restore device, however, the most recent backup is 29 October 2014. I tried to back up my device since then, but always without success.

• Update blackBerry Software software

  My Blackberry link says there's an upgrade. I did & he deleted my client lists and the q10 database. Now, it syncs with the PC (link to BlackBerry). I had to reinstall my email & data portable. Software will not restore upward.  How can I solve?

  Hi - I wonder if anyone can tell me why the Toshiba 1 TB 3.5 "external hard drive I recently bought does not allow me to backup large video files from my PC.
  The files are located in the region of 5 to 10 GB and when I try to save these I get the message that they are too big for the destination.

• BlackBerry software not able to download Blackberry link

  Last week I bought my Q10 (from Orange/Romania) and downloaded Blackberry Link (for Mac OS)

  I installed and used with my phone just fine.

  Yesterday, I had some problems with my phone and reinstall the OS. After that, she refused to connect to Link of BB somehow.

  After several attempts to get it working, I uninstalled Blackberry link and remove the software in order to download again.

  But surprise, when I press the button to download the BB link again, I received the following message (that I had last week when I downloaded the BB link for the first time):

  We're sorry...

  This software download is not yet available in your country for regulatory reasons. Please check for future availability.

  Please let me know what I did wrong. It is odd that the link is not available in a country where BB phones are available from the mobile operators.

  There was an investigation into intermittent problems with the software download link from BlackBerry.com BlackBerry which took place yesterday.

  This problem has been reported as being solved by our internal teams and should now be available for download again. If you still receive the error message that it is not available in your country, please try to reload BlackBerry.com in your browser by pressing Command + Shift + R on Mac, or CTRL + F5 on Windows. You can also try clear all the cache of your browser, and then restart the application.

• BlackBerry Smartphones can only synchronize only Contacts and calendar?

  I wanted to replace my Palm Treo with the new BlackBerry 8310.  With the Palm, I could synchronize my calendar and contacts with Lotus Notes 7 through a 3rd party software without going through courier service.  It does not appear that I can install the BlackBerry software without e-mail service because he was unable to access Lotus Notes data.  Any suggestions?

  Thanks for the help of glasses bifocals!  I used Palm products so far and with this being my first BlackBerry device, I'm a novice user.  Your advice was helpful.  I did download the latest version of the Desktop Manager (4.6).  The LNOptions.dll with the 4.6 ends by works very well.  I found that I needed to open Desktop Manager then plug my 8310.  It's not as long as the phone is connected, I could set up my syncroization correctly.  Strange little sequence there, but you sent me down the correct path.
