  • BlackBerry software not able to download Blackberry link

    Hello

Last week I bought my Q10 (from Orange/Romania) and downloaded Blackberry Link (for Mac OS)

I installed and used with my phone just fine.

Yesterday, I had some problems with my phone and reinstall the OS. After that, she refused to connect to Link of BB somehow.

After several attempts to get it working, I uninstalled Blackberry link and remove the software in order to download again.

But surprise, when I press the button to download the BB link again, I received the following message (that I had last week when I downloaded the BB link for the first time):

    We're sorry...

This software download is not yet available in your country for regulatory reasons. Please check for future availability.

Please let me know what I did wrong. It is odd that the link is not available in a country where BB phones are available from the mobile operators.

    Thank you

    Cosmin

    Hey cosminium_10.

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

There was an investigation into intermittent problems with the software download link from BlackBerry.com BlackBerry which took place yesterday.

This problem has been reported as being solved by our internal teams and should now be available for download again. If you still receive the error message that it is not available in your country, please try to reload BlackBerry.com in your browser by pressing Command + Shift + R on Mac, or CTRL + F5 on Windows. You can also try clear all the cache of your browser, and then restart the application.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you still have problems to download the BlackBerry.com link BlackBerry software.

    See you soon.

  • BlackBerry Software Desktop software components must be installed?

    Hey guys,.

I'm going up to his presentation of the latest BlackBerry software link, which is now called BlackBerry Desktop Software. After you download the .exe file and run the regular configuration, it contains several components such as link, mix and device drivers.

I am talking about the software for one e.g. Z10, Q10, jump etc (BB10 OS devices)

Because we use and to use the mixture, I want to extract this component and only the deployment of others.

Now, I am faced with different .msi files and I am trying to figgure on which of them are really necessary.

    There are:

    -BlackBerryDeviceManager.msi

    -BlackBerryCommunicationManager.msi

Of course I could install the connection, connect a BlackBerry and see what happens (with one of these above probably nothing)

Then install the Device Manager and check aso again... until it works

BUT I want to know which of the above is required for what service.

If someone out there who knows?

    Thanks in advance!

Uh, I figgured out, both mentioned components are needed and a more:

In conclusion, if you want to have a job entirely BlackBerry link, you must have the following components:

    -BlackBerryLink.msi

    -BlackBerryDeviceManager.msi

    -BlackBerryCommunicationManager.msi

Each of them is the regular installation in the following directory:

    -Cache C:\ProgramData\Package

    Hope that help anyone ;-)

  • Link blackBerry problems blackberry software

Earlier this week my blackberry software is no longer connected to my USB connected playbbok.  Today, it didn't connect to my Q10.  She is also not connected and all attempts will fail to connect.

I reinstalled connected link Q10 and 1/2 hour later it is appeared and sunched, but also showed the error that it couldn't connect wirelessly.  Still does not see playbook, even if the playbook says that it is connected.

If something has changed.  Old and new versions of link are the same - 1.1.1.32

It worked OK before including wireless.

Finally solved my problem by uninstalling with REVO uninstaller and then reinstall again. Previous registry entries have been properly cleaned this time around it seems!

  • Re-setup of blackBerry Smartphones Blackberry software

I had installed the Blackberry "BOLD" software on my computer, but as I already had a Treo 680 and not Outlook on my computer, I uninstalled the Blackberry software.  Installed Microsoft Outlook, and as I reinstall Blackberry software I received a pop up stating that... The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation.  This is after I had received another pop up window... This Setup will perform an upgrade of ".". Do you want to continue? When the InstallShield Wizard has started, that the other pop-up window appeared.

I am very new to the Blackberry.  These messages would be the result of once after having installed the software it is possible to install only one time on the computer?

Hi wranglehurst and welcome to the forums!

Are you talking about the desktop software manager or the device OS for you "BOLD"?

If it's desktop software use this procedure to ensure that you get a good installation

  • BlackBerry software new Z10 10.3 for z10

I have my new blackberry z10, which is STL100-2 version of the os - 10.0 I want update 10.3 but display of updated software I have latest software help me please update.

In this case... an autoloader OS file.

I suggest you try autoloader method:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/BlackBerry-10-OS-device-software/upgrading-OS10-devices-using...

Beware that it is completely destructive... the device will be 'as new'... None given, no apps, no accounts, etc. Remember you first take a full backup, as well as make full manual documentation of applications, accounts, configurations, etc. Sometimes a restore reintroduced corruption even sought to eliminate, and manual reconfiguration is required.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry software Blackberry Blend

I'm trying to update the mixture.

A newer version uploaded, arrive to install the stage and then I get a message saying - cant install until the next request is closed - mix BlackBerry.  Then cancel!

I have no BB open, - how to get around this please.

@pretty_krissy Why are you apologizing? And what melt being EOL have to do with the problem of the OP?

@Jeloise I had held off answer because I don't know and I expected someone more qualified to answer. However, I had to chime now to say that the mix works. Yes, BlackBerry will not develop it more support, but you can still download the software, install it and it works.

So now that I've posted, here are some thoughts...

When you run the program installation, is there any of you see to force applications to close? Don't forget and look if the dialogue might be hidden behind another open window.

How about you, open the Task Manager and search for applications it and closing them there before running the installation program?

Can you run the mixture and installed software link now? If so, is either one configured to run at Windows startup? If Yes, what about turning off, reboot and re-run the installation program?

How about you, removing the BlackBerry Desktop Software before you run the installer? If you have tried, what with an uninstall utility? Or if you have not yet removed, you'd probably better to use an uninstall utility this time.

  • BlackBerry software Win 10 worm 1607 - link is no longer connecting

Well, MS Win 10 worm 1607 "anniversary day" broke a couple of things (although I like it in general)

Link does not detect my camera any longer.

    All this experience?

Guess I'll try the uninstall/install to see if this fixes...

That's what I did, that fixed it.

A few caveats. In my case, the computer has detected my passport and mapped memory and the memory card to record. Mixture worked. That the link wouldn't connect to the device.

I did a simple uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop using Windows software. Then cold reboot. Then installed the software of office again. It worked for me.

  • BlackBerry software cannot uninstall link blackberry completely

Whenever I try to play an MP3 file or other forms media, if only it in a media player or whether through anything else, as long as there is an mp3 file somewhere on my computer being played by anything at all, the windows setup program opens with "Please wait while windows configures the blackberry link. 6 times. I have to cancel, another opens, then I have to cancel that. 6 times. My father did install this software on my laptop before but I uninstalled since, as well as to remove all the relationships of the registry and files that I could possibly find. It's as if my hard drive is literally possessed by a demon of blackberry link. Whenever I try to let it go through the installation, surprise, surprise, it can not find the installation files, so it closes unexpectedly. I tried searching for any files remaining blackberry on my computer but THERE ARE NONE. What should I do?

Try first, it works normally, but maybe not because you deleted the registry and program elements.

    http://Support2.Microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall

If this does not work, try this: http://www.iobit.com/advanceduninstaller.html is one of the best.

If these two don't you reinstall link and then uninstall with the Microsoft link.

  • BlackBerry software how to get RAR file bbb

    Hello

I have (very foolishly, I might add) has changed the file format of a backup file for my Passport of Blackberry from bbb to rar.

Now I can't seem to find a way to return to bbb, BB link is unable to recognize my backup.

Is it possible to fix this?

Hello and welcome to the community!

How, exactly, did you change the actual file format?

Or did you just change the bbb to rar file extension? If so, then the actual file format is unchanged, but the software LINK indeed would need to see it with a bbb file extension in order to make it work.

Please specify the details, on the surface, it seems like it should be a very easy solution... just change the file extension to bbb, via some file manager app is it on any computer you use.

Uninstall the BB link from your laptop and reinstall by accessing http://us.blackberry.com/software/desktop/blackberry-link.html

After the reinstallation, BB installation link, make sure you use the same BBID on your device and on the BB link.

  • Update blackBerry software 10 over the mobile network data connection

I have a notification of today on software update software version 10.3.1.1565 is available. But the update is suspended with a note: 'you are connected to the mobile network. This software update is too large to be downloaded via the network. Use a Wi - Fi network. ' Really? I have 30 GB data plan and I don't want to connect to any Wi - Fi and I don't want to connect to any PC, I want to use my mobile data plan to download this update. Is it possible to do? Thank you!

I don't think that you can set on the device. If you go to

Settings > software updates > Options

    You see the following:

"Depending on your service provider, downloads will be in a Wi - Fi or a mobile network".

So it's not in your hands of Blackberry, but with your carrier.
