BlackBerry Storm 9500 Smartphone email delivery problem

Hello

I have 2 emails separated, put in place and the rate of normal delivery any where between Instant up to 25 minutes after the email was delivered to my PC. Now, I realize it would have something to do with the servers either my ISP or phone provider. This isn't my problem.

Over the past two days my email is only delivered to my storm if I turn the unit off and then back on. I rebooted my phone by removing the battery and giving him a clean place, but nothing seems to help. I did not change any settings on the PC (outlook 7) or on my BB.

Can anyone suggest some possible causes and especially a solution?

Thank you very much

NICCO.

Hello

You may simply return your service books.  You can do this by opening the settings of mail electronics (in the installation folder), connection, then press the BB Menu and select the Service of books from the menu.  You can then send your service books from there.  That should help him.

I recently replaced the screen on my Storm 9500, ensuring that the screen I bought was an exact match, paying special attention to the color of the flex cable and all the serial numbers. After turning on at the end of the replacement of the phone work as usual, all the menus and functions are in perfect working condition. The only problem I have is the phone is not reading the sim card there is now a message at the top of the screen that reads "insert sim card". The upper right corner of the screen indicates "SOS". I tried to give the SIM to a clean place and also tried another card sim vodafone with the same result. I thought that maybe the new screen needs to be reconfigured or something. Anyone have any ideas?

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Help needed! BlackBerry storm 9500 memory problem!

    Hi all

I use blackberry storm 9500 and I discovered this video file of great sample RIM - Babylon AD (about 17 MB) on the memory (128 mb) internal rather than the storage memory (1 GB). I really need to use memory to 17 MB on demand rather than to the video. I wanted to remove this video in order to free up more memory space, given the total internal memory is 128 MB, 17 MB, it's a lot.

Is it possible that I can delete this file? I really don't need this.

    Thank you very much!

Highlight, then open the Media icon > icon of videos > scroll the title of Diquizeiko_dieu and press the Menu key again > delete.

Hello and welcome to the community!

To use the exclusive services of BB (including the ability to Push email, BBM, etc), you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have an email Push-enabled compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), your exclusive services BB will work (for example, you will have a staff/Internet Email added to the email Setup Wizard, your BBM will work, etc.).

With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans it is impossible to say that any plan service could actually expressly provide for. Only carriers can answer this question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you want and then talk to your carrier about obtaining a data plan that allows what you want (to them).

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Storm 9500 'cannot create..." Reset"happened during the upgrade

    Hi all.

I am new to the storm, but believe me, I've been everywhere on the internet trying to find the resolution appropriate for my case here. I found one or two instances where they did notice that they fixed, follow the signs, but can't seem to solve the problem. Here is what happened:

Got my Storm 9500 Saturday, worked well and the dadny, a little lag, no big deal, but had a horrible battery life. (6 hours and dead) I read that update of your phone it improves by about 80%. So I bought a micro usb cable, BlackBerry. It is plugged in and did the update online Wednesday evening. Well, I do think that the update is complete. I was in there about 20 minutes, the process had begun, tehre was a

computer screen and such demonstration on the storm, indicating the transfer. Update online TH rebooted the phone and a message popped up saying the affect"cannot run multiboot" and that's all. The phone immediately started to reeboot. It restarts now no stopping. The red LED flashes, black screen with the clock that indicates the start and then the screen turns white (where it is said normally Blackberry at startup) and technology quickly flashed in the center of the screen "Unable to create...". Reset' reset is written in a solid black rectangle. Then, the phone restarts nonstop like that until the battery dies.

Now, what I tried to fix it... Everything under the Sun.

Tried the jl-cmder to wipe... not connecting, even when I force him by prompt msdos. It gives me an error that 'impossible to connect to the device. Error openind"port of communication to that affect...

Tried to update the software using the tool DM. of JVFM software loading, and then it tries to connect to the device several times and reports a fatal error... cannot continue.

I then try to force the installation directly using the loader.exe. It connects, and instead of giving me the software options said 'Contact service provider etc.' I use the Add button to add the software manually, it seems as is compiled to get this ready for a transfer to the device, but then a message appears saying that there is no software for this device. Mind you, he has the whole device PIN: unknown report all the time. 1 of 10 restarts, the real axis will be displayed.

Then. I can not get anything working. I used XP, I used Vista, I tried a program memory... There is obviously no software on the device, and the flash flash memory must be some how itself using the updated RIM online... Any help would be great... Hardly, I had the chance to discover my new camera, before becoming the equivalent of a brick. All I wanted to do was last updated the software so I could access the Blackberry Apps and stuff too...

If anyone can help please do. I been to crackberry.com and tried all 101 Unbricking also advice. Nothing seems to work. But there is one report of someone who has exactly the same problem noted and claimed to have set himself without having to return the unit.

Is it possible that I was cheated and gave a phone pre-production or something? the PIN and all that jazz has worked. I just removed the battery and compares it to tmobile my fiancé pearl of the brand. In the Pearl, she has the pin of the device, number etc as well as THIS seal etc on the same label. On the storm, there is just a sticker with the number etc. of pine. No stamp IT and other brands that are found on the T-mobile phone. He also says "property of research in motion'...» Assuming it's a prepdocution phone, RIM would be able to tell me and what the reason that none of the methods "unbricking" work. Could this be the reason why my update legit messed up the phone? Any help is appreciated.

  • BlackBerry Storm 9530 smartphones crashed or something when I tried to install the new OS

    Hey,.

I recently picked up a blackberry storm 9530, who has been sitting on the counter for about 5 months and decided that I wanted to use it. I got it all together upward through my carrier (Verizon) and it has been working perfectly for the last 2 weeks. However, today, I tried to update the software version of the device with the Blackberry Desktop Software and something happened. The update process was almost complete and he got in a process that says something like "Reconnecting to JVM" or something like that. Then another window pops up saying them was a mistake with the AppLoader or something and he said to disconnect and reconnect my device and then click Retry. I did about 3 times before I decided that it wasn't going to work and clicked on the Cancel button and abandoned the update. Now my phone won't turn properly. whenever I press the power button all the buttons on the bottom will be light and then the LED on top lights up red for a while, then the light turns off and the keys will blink again, and then the light, ect ect. Sometimes when I press the power button and leave it alone for a bit the flashing stops and the screen will remain black but the little loading symbol, but nothing will happen. At the moment he made the small thing of loading for about 30-40 minutes of solids and nothing happens. I read a few other posts and all the other problems seem to be resolved by the connection to the computer and fixing one way or another using the Blackberry Desktop Software, however when I plug my Berry in my computer it is not yet recognized as a device because it is busy to restart or what he does. I have no idea what to do and problems will arise for me if I don't have a phone to get their hands on people. Please help :/

  • List of phones calls Smart blackBerry & and email delivery problems.

    Hi all

I am the owner of a BlackBerry Curve 8520 user. I am based in Trinidad and Tobago. I have connected E-mail three suppliers, tstt/outlook express/google handset, yahoo mail and Hotmail.

The handset is synced with my computer. I run Windows XP Pro SP3.

My camera has worked perfectly up until a week ago I noticed that emails from three suppliers mentioned above began to appear in my list of phone call. Most of them do not go to their respective places, or if they do, should I try to remove from the list of calls they are also deleted from their respective places. It is now a gene as e-mail does not appear in the list of calls. At least it's never happened before.

I will be really grateful if assistance can be given through your forums to alleviate the problem.

    Thanking you.

I enjoyed reading your response; wonderfully polite and excellent use of the language. A refreshing change from text to speech and requires instant solutions.

    There is no downside whatsoever.

Now, I think that you have rightly identified that your being unfamiliar with the device is the cause of your problem.

The message file you reference, ideally receives notifications of calls, emails from all accounts linked to your device. It's an icon of useful to have on the home screen so that you can see in 1 click messages etc., thus leaving the remaining space on this screen for icons other than the e-mail accounts.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone email settings problem

I have 3 addresses on my Torch - a Gmail account that works, a Blackberry that works also, and an email company that used to work. Recently my company changed its web servers, and the new server requires that the username email address complete 'abc@xyz', but I can't put anything other than the 'abc' share is entered automatically during the installation process account and apparently cannot be changed once created.

I even deleted the account and tried it again to create from scratch, but no luck.

Is it possible to change this so that I can get my email working again?

I finally got to the right person at my service provider, and they managed to enter the correct username for me, so my email now works as it should.

  • The latest OS Smartphones blackBerry for Blackberry storm 9500

I want to upgrade my blackberry OS 4.7. I want to know that the latest OS available for my BB and the yo link download it.

When I do the through BLackberry desktop manager it's showng OS 4.7 Bundle, what kind of OS is this?

Hello and welcome to the community!

To add to the above, you will need to override the methods "automatic" which will use the foregoing. Left alone, the "automatic" methods will offer only you OS packages sanctioned by the carrier for which your BB was built (under the VendorID on the device). But, you are not limited only to those... the easiest is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    1) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (2) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (3) download and install to your PC, the BB OS package you want:

    (4) If this OS package comes from one carrier other carrier for which your BB was built, then remove, on your PC, all copies of the SELLER. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    (5) run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC. If, during the process, your BB votre BB a '507' error, simply unplug the power cord of the BB USB and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

    Do not forget to save.

Note that if you had to make a special "tricks" for your BB to function initially get on your carrier (for example, your BB model no is not natively supported by your carrier system), then this process will wipe those out, and you have to make them once again after it's over. Before starting, so 100% certain that you know what these "things" have been and are able to do it again.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:
