BlackBerry Web Plugin error Console (2)

As I said in my previous post, I love working with firebug console when I develop applications of js. I'm trying to do the same thing with the BB.

I'm developing an easy extension of JS that write log messages to system.out. The problem is the simulator that comes with the plugin eclipse Web does not display this message.

When I install the widget on a JDE Simulator, I see messages, but not with the two web plugin Simulator.

Why? Other ideas to see the logs?

I was looking at this topic. I guess it's the debug configuration standard of the Launcher with the plugin eclipse web widget.

I think it should be useful you are an option to display all the System.out on the widget console. If you work with js extensions, it will be very useful.

    Hi hamza

    Welcome to the community

If you use a Chrome or Firefox, I suggest you use Internet explore for now, once the plugin since intalled on the browser, Chrome and Internet explorer share almost the same settings, it should work well with Chrome after him.

  • How to open the mobile firefox error console?

Hello! I developed a Web site for android devices, and for my case Firefox exceeds all other browsers. But the problem is that I don't know how to open the error console, which is absolutely necessary for a developer.

I've seen some guides like this:
    https://quality.Mozilla.org/docs/mobile-Firefox/Firefox-mobile-enabling-the-error-console/
that seems rather useful. However, I can't open the "preference" as he says.

Any suggestions are welcome. I'm open if you want to use the console via a remote computer, as doing the Opera or Chrome; or simply view all on the mobile device itself. I'm also happy if anyone knows how to open the preferences window. I use Firefox 15 on Samsung Galaxy Tab.

    Thank you ~!

  • My error console is always empty, even though I know that there are errors. Work in point 3.6. I noticed the problem around version 8.

I'm a developer of web application using Windows XP. I work a lot in Javascript and depend on the error console to help debug my code.

I have updated several times since the 3.6 version, when E.C. still worked. not sure when it stopped, but certainly by the version 8.

Is there some ports it uses that would affect a victim?

Any ideas would be more useful.

No problem here with this error appears in the error Console Firefox 11.

Create a new profile as a test to see if your profile is the source of the problems.

See "basic troubleshooting: a new profile:

  • Me Firefox error Console show a thousand errors

The spectacle of me Firefox error Console thousand errors from a wide range of Web sites, nor those which is closed. How can I solve this problem and make sure that the error Console shows me only the mistakes of the current page? I have the latest version of FF for Mac OS X.

A large number of errors (especially if they are warnings) are normal (many Web sites have an IE-specific code and some of this code generates warnings). The way simplest to see if there are any errors on the current page is to click on 'Clear' in the error console and then reload the page.

In addition, the errors (and less often warnings) can come from extensions so that you can experience errors even though they are not related to the current page.

  • vSphere Web Client error - an internal error occurred - error #1009.

I'm running a questions accessing the page plug-ins of the client in the Web Client vSphere. The error is in the subject line and an extract from the journal of the vsphere_client_virgo is below. Here is the scenario in which I believe is the origin of the problem, I don't know how to fix it.

I had a third-party web client-plugin registered (Manager Cisco Nexus 1000v). and I disabled it. I then went through the steps to cancel the webclient plugin which was to remove the extension from the extensions through the CROWD handler. I deleted the extension to go from the CROWD and remove the files from the client web plugin on the server vCenter successfully, but now I get the above error. I think I'm getting this because the web client tries to find a reference to the disabled extension, either vCenter Server binaries or the extension, I removed from the CROWD. Whatever it is, I have no idea how to move forward. All ideas are welcome!

  • Firefox keeps blocking Java plugins, I've updated several times, but the problem persists "VLC media player Web Plugin 2.1.3" update now don't workr

I've updated the VLC media player a dozen times in the last week or two, but it continues to not work, with a message from Firefox to come saying "Web PluginVLC Web Plugin 2.1.3 vulnerable 2.1.3.0 VLC media player update now". All other plugins seem to now, Firefox said recently that many of them had recently updated and all the others worked.
Almost all the websites that I visit comes up with a message saying that the plugin is obsolete and has been blocked and I think maybe I should just give up Firefox and use another browser.

Yes, it would be wise to delete this program VLC.

  • I downloaded several times, but the web plugin VLC VLC 2.1.5 version 2.1.3 has been how to date?

I downloaded it on my VLC media player 2.1.5 pc but when I went to see the updates of the plugin, vlc web plugin remained at version 2.1.3 How to upgrade the plugin?

I was wrong... the 2.1.3 plugin is reported as 'vulnerable', whenever I run my Plugin Check and who need an update... even if I've already updated the reader to 2.1.5.

Once again... How can I fix it?

  • Downloaded the latest VLC Web Plugin ver but Firefox show always old version

Downloaded VLC Web Plugin Version 2.0.5.0 and rebooted and restarted Firefox.
Firefox Plug Ins still shows the old version 2.0.2.0.
When I check that Firefox to version the most recent says 2.0.2.0 is the last and I'm updating.

When I open VLC as a standalone it happens in version 2.0.5.0.

Why Firefox is not incorporate the correct version?

Version 2.0.2.0 shown in Plugins is the version of the Firefox Plugin, not the version of VLC. To see the version of VLC, open VLC then help > on. The Plugin version 2.0.2.0 has remained constant on the latest VLC updates few and probably will not change until a revision is made to the Plugin, if necessary.

  • What are the causes error Console report an error of TelemetryStopwatch every few minutes?

In debugging my JavaScript code, I find that the error Console is very useful. In addition to the errors in my code, it shows also the error messages on the other peoples code for sites that I opened. It is a little annoying, because I have to click 'Clear' of each time or to scroll to see my error messages.

To simplify things, I closed all the tabs and windows except my own window (without tabs) where I test my JavaScript program. All other error messages disappeared — except one. This isolated from rest message every few minutes in PINK (I guess that means it's serious) even when the window of my program is the only one open, without any label of:

    Timestamp: 14/12/12 11:47:39
Error: TelemetryStopwatch: key 'FX_SESSION_RESTORE_COLLECT_DATA_MS' has already been initialized
    Source file: resource://gre/modules/TelemetryStopwatch.jsm
    Online: 53

I clicked on the Source file (it is blue and underlined in the original) and jumped up to a list of the source of some of the files from the package of Firefox.app inside. Lines 52 and 53 as follows:

         Cu.reportError("TelemetryStopwatch: key \"" +
                        aHistogram + "\" was already initialized");

    Any idea that this is?

    -Gil

Hello gil, usually after a new installation of firefox ask you to help by sending performance data to mozilla. It's their own countries nicknamed 'telemetry', so the error you see is probably related to this feature.

According to #732874 bug that will be fixed in the next version of firefox. in case you want, you can also disable the collection and presentation of performance data in Preferences > advanced > general for the moment...
