BlackBerry Yahoo Z10 imap/pop does not


I had the same problem with yahoo mail for small businesses.  I thought that if I apdate the phone for os 10.1 it will solve my problem.  No luck after all.  So final I find the solution to the problem.

See below.

On your Z10

(1) remove the e-mail account that is the problem

(2) go to the system settings/accounts/add account/email, calendar, and Contacts./advance/pop

Type the following information

Description "whatever you want".

Display name "whatever you want".

User name 'your business email address example [email protected].

Email address 'your business email address example [email protected].

Password "password"

"Pop.bizmail.yahoo.com" server address

Port "995".

Use the SSL protocol on "make sure it's on your connection to the yahoo account to your yahoo from your office account to check.

"Your business email address example [email protected]" SMTP Username

Password for SMTP "your password"

"Smtp.bizmail.yahoo.com" SMTP server address

Port "465".

SMTP SSL encryption

Synchronize interval "it is you".

Initial recovery amount "30 days".

Will work without any problem.  Worked for me and my two other partners.

    Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  • IMAP account does not show subfolders subscribed

    I created a structure of folders and subfolders on the side my IMAP e-mail account server. I am able to subscribe to these folders in Thunderbird. However, I see only one level of folders in my interface.

    Example:
    Inbox\Games is displayed, with the mails that are there
    Inbox\Games\Steam does not, even if I am subscribed to it.

    All records are already checked for offline use.

    But in the meantime records appeared. I can't understand how and when it was fixed, but it is. Thank you for all your help.

    My Yahoo Messenger is working again. Yay!

    Finally I found a way to make this work. Go to its properties (right click on its shortcut), choose the compatibility options, check the option run this application on Windows XP SP 1 (or 2). then click apply - OK. voila! My YM may still work correctly.
    I tried this trick on these Diner Dash above. but unfortunately, it won't work. Hiks.

    I use a Z30 for the past 2 years, and in general I have no major problems with it.

    Lately, I realized that the photos taken by two cameras built in (front and rear) are prety bad quality. I tried to change the camera settings, but nothing works. What I realized is that autofocus does simply not. The image is not sharp, particularly if you take close ups but even in a landscape image, you can check the academics is not good. Another example trying to take a picture of a written or printed book and as a result, you can read even more large font (like arial 16). This very annoing and seriosly obstructs all-purpose potetial for this kind of device.

    I referred to the manual / subject hepl, but no answer for this one.

    In a net shearch, I have seen several users complain (also in devices priv and passport), but no good answers for these people.

    I use the latest version of the OS (10.3.2.2876)

    No accidents or damages occur to the device

    I referred to the BB Expert virtual app and it returnes to Pentecost "possible camera issues.

    I would refer these results in BBVE

    You did wrong... we're the "software version" while the other is the real version of the OS. So, are you running OS 10.3.2.2876 / SR 10.3.2.2836. Reference:

    Could you try to remove the app OneDrive of your device and then restart the passport and reinstall it from App World?

    When the screen becomes black like that and the device apparently work in every other sense, in my experience and what I've read of the experience of others, the cause is a failure of the hardware associated with the view.
