• BlackBerry Z10 sync BB calendar and Contacts with Android

  After 8 years as a BlackBerry user, I did reluctantly, the decision to move to an Android device. My calendar is wide, ranging from the years in the future, and my contact list has 800 and entries. I also teach notes, financial records, and a lot of information, I rely on every day in my Z10. All these things exist only on my BlackBerry. Is it possible to migrate everything to a Samsung device? I am particularly interested in my calendar and contacts, but wants to keep other information that has been collected over a period of years.

  With a focus on software, rather than the devices and their interest in using the Blackberry Android OS, I think that I might as well make the change. I've been off contract several times, including now, waiting for BB to produce new phones. After reading 'Lose the Signal' I see why Verizon Business limited BB today. The choice of BB Phone high end users is rather limited on Verizon now, and with all in all I decided to pass. Can someone help me with my above needs? Thank you.

• BlackBerry Z10 problem with reception and to make a call after updating to OS.

  I just updated my Z10 STL100-3 model with the new operating system 10.3.2.2168. Now, I can not answer incoming calls. The phone rings, but there is no screen to answer or reject the call. I am also unable to unlock while the phone is ringing. Once the caller hangs up the normal opening if Poster Advisor I missed a call and then allows me to unlock the phone. When you place a call, the screen does not change for me to end the call. In other words, I touch the contact and it will automatically start the numbering, but the screen does not respond or don't change to indicate that the call is made. Then I need to cut the phone to hang up!

  Well, assuming that you have waited the usual 48-72 hours, with a lot of reboots (including the battery grips) and this behaviour is new, and the only thing that has changed is the operating system updated... so, the most common thing to do after an update which results in problems is to perform a reload of the OS. Sometimes the update process have errors and others... with a reload often cure the problems.

  Unofficial methods, which are cleaner and allow you to choose a version of the OS that maybe your carrier (or anyone they control your offers) delays in approval (unless you're on 10.3.2, in which case 10.3.1 and earlier are now blocked, but you should be able to use any 10.3.2 it's official):

However I tried to reinstall the software, it does not, changed the battery still does not not so I decided to upgrade to the iPhone. I tried on how to retrieve my files to my iPhone now, but I couldn't. No idea please. I need help.

• BlackBerry Z10 battery drains quickly and the phone gets hot

  I noticed that my Z10 become hot and the battery takes time to load, and when it is disconnected from the power, the battery drains quickly in less than 1 h.

  I think it said when I update the OS, but I'm not sure.

• BlackBerry Z10 using Internet tethering and Wi - fi area reactive on the Z10

  The default router on the Z10 for internet tethering or a configuration point hot seems to be 192.168.0.1 and the IP address it assigns my laptop when I connect to it is within this range of IP addresses... The question I have is when I connect to a VPN service where the internal IP addresses used are also on the 192.168.0.x subnet.

  Is it possible for me to change the IP rangde the Z10 used when it assigns IP addresses to client connections?

• BlackBerry Z10 flaw in SMS and BBM Keyboard Layout

  Hi, I use the Z10 for a few months, and I think that keyboard for SMS and BBM is wrong because the PERIOD is located next to the SEND button.  This caused me to accidentally send messages when I type too fast.  According to me, a better layout would have the positions of Exchange EMOTICON icon with the button SEND.

  I almost never use the period that when you type 2 spaces, it does it for you and capitolizes the following letter.

  I just rec'd blackberryz10 and I did an update yesterday. I now have a problem I did not before. First, he reproduced several of my contacts in the contacts in the folder, so now I have 3 or more of the same person. I didn't know this before. Also, when I try to delete additional contacts, it will not erase!

  In Contacts, drag the top and choose settings. Once in the settings, how many accounts is enabled?  If there are several service accounts, change all except your e-mail account and then let me know if the duplicates appear always.

• Working in Arabic and English, without having to reinstall versions of InDesign?

  Currently, I am working in several languages using Indesign CC and mac. I installed the Arabic/Hebrew of indesign and now I want to create a new document to work again in English. When I add new pages, they are backwards - due to Arab installation I realize but - is there a way to move the pages to the left to the right orientation without having to reinstall the English version of the software?

  The title of the discussion is pretty much the question.

  The problem I have is when I put a full stop at the end of an Arabic phrase or a closed parenthesis. If its still with Arabic, the sentence runs correctly. If this isn't the case, then the symbol/English/Conference will be at one end of the sentence.

• BlackBerry Z10 Z10 suddenly stopped synchronization of calendar and contact - link gives BB cannot communicate with connected mssg but displays device

  I think that BB link updated the software in March 2015.  I had been very good sync with my laptop Windows 8 with the Outlook calendar and contacts, but this week it stopped.  BB link watch Z0 connected, but says cannot communicate with the device.  I tried the solution of knowledge base - leave plugged phone with a USB cable, power phone off, then back on donkey wait 3-5 minutes for the pilots to complete loading - but none help.  I rebooted the computer and the Z10 several times, but no luck with the synchronization.  Any help is appreciated!

  Try the following steps, which will completely remove all traces of BlackBerry-link device driver entries and may solve your problem:

  1. Uninstall the BlackBerry link.
  2. Open the Device Manager by pressing the Windows key + R on your keyboard type devmgmt.msc , and then click OK.
  3. Click view , and then click Show hidden devices on the menu that appears.
  4. Expand the BlackBerry section by clicking on the + symbol next to it.
  5. Right-click on the following, and then click Uninstall. In the dialog box that appears, select delete the driver for this device. If more than one of each of the following entries appear, remove them as well.
     • BlackBerry smartphone
     • BlackBerry smart phone
  6. Expand the network adapters section by clicking on the + symbol next to it.
  7. Right-click on the following, and then click Uninstall. In the dialog box that appears, select delete the driver for this device. If more than one of each of the following entries appear, remove them as well.

     • Tethering BlackBerry smartphone
     • Virtual private network of blackBerry
  8. Restart the computer.
  9. Reinstall the latest version of BlackBerry link.
  10. Try to reconnect your BlackBerry Z10 to the computer and see if she is able to communicate with the BlackBerry link.
