BlackBerry Z30 transfer Photos

Copy photos from the Z30 to the computer seems to be a challenge.  The only way I found to do it is via Blackberry link.  I can't do it via a USB on the right as the drive that contains the photos is protected and inaccessible.  (I put the camera to save photos on the media card but do not regardless of the chosen preference).  And the file manager utility is not an option to copy files to the computer either.

Link to Blackberry is really the only way to achieve this?  If Yes, this is an area that needs attention and for the first time found that the Z30 is far behind android, but only in this specific use.

When you first install Link, you have the option of choosing iTunes or Windows Media Player. Link can be set to manual or auto sync music when connected.

I found I was getting duplicates and resorted to the pc, music, itunes, file copy and pasteing to BBZ30/SDcard/music.

I also use a 'Album Art Grabber' app for the missing illustrations.

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer photos from the memory of the unit storm 9530 for computer

I've seen a few similar posts, but nothing worked for me.  I recently went on a trip and took more than 200 pictures on my Blackberry.  I need a simple way to transfer all of them to my computer because obviously send them one at a time, or moving them one at a time is not practical.

When I go to Options > memory, all the options are defined on the (card, Media Transfer Protocol Support) and Mass Storage Mode Support.

When I go to media > pictures > all pictures, I see all of my pictures.  When I go into photo files, it says the device memory.

When connected to my PC via the USB port, I try to pull up in Windows Explorer.  I see options for device MTP - device memory and device MTP - Media Card.  There are only empty folders in the device memory.  Multimedia card has nothing under the data and only my music files in the media.  Similar behavior when I pull up in Windows Media Player.

    Any suggestions?

If you use the Media Manager in the Office Manager are you able to copy the photos from the memory of the device to your computer

  • BlackBerry smartphone transfer photos from pc to curve

Hi, I was wondering if someone can help me please.  I recently bought a BB Curve and I transferred some pictures from my pc to my BB using Roxio Media Manager.  However, by simple drag-and - drop photos to the BB, they are transferred to the size of large file created by my camera.  Therefore, the images are long to load on my BB.  I think it is the reason why, in any case.  Am I wrong?  Is it possible through Media Manager to reduce the size of the photo size before transferring them to my BB?  I appreciate any help you can give.

Just in case this helps someone else, I answered my own question.  In Roxio Media Manager, you click Tools and then Options.  Under Blackberry, you can change the size for saving the photos in the BB.  Photos now much, much faster loading.

  • BlackBerry Q5 transfer photos of a Q5 to a computer?

I don't know how to transfer pictures to a Q5 to a computer. Help?

Connect your Q5 to your computer and open the link. Once the software is open, click on multimedia synchronized in the left column and then click the pictures. It should be an option to synchronize the pictures to your computer, so you can view it.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Transfer photos classic blackBerry

How can I transfer photos from my classic BlackBerry I had in my computer before I bought the smartphone?

Ok. You can use the link to BlackBerry on your PC to transfer and synchronize the photos later.

For now, I just connect the BlackBerry to your PC and drag and drop photos from your card.

  • BlackBerry smartphones, how can I transfer photos from the map SD card in my Panasonic camera in my Blackberry "BOLD"?

I will visit China this summer to see the solar eclipse on July 22, take pictures with a Pansonic Lumix camera. It uses a standard SD memory card.

I want to transfer pictures to my Blackberry 9000 "BOLD", so I can then upload them on a blog. I won't have a computer with me. Is it possible to get a SD card reader which can connect to the USB in the Blackberry and transfer files directly in the Blackberry?

If not, is there a bluetooth solution?

Note that I tried to take the microphone out of my Blackberry SDHD card, put in an adapter and insert this in my Panasonic camera, hoping that I could store my photos directly on the micro SDHD card. It does not work. The camera is complaining with a memory card error (probably due to incompatibility between the standard SD and SDHD, I guess).

    Any ideas?

Forget the above post, I just had a cup of coffee and then realized:

    1. I think the Blackberry "BOLD" can use ordinary micro sd (and not sdhc) cards.  They come in 1 GB and 2 GB sizes with adapters for $ 5 to $ 10.

2 use a regular mic with its adapter sd card in your camera.  When you want to send photos, take the adapter to the camera, take the micro sd adapter and pop card in your phone.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not transfer photos to the memory of the device to the PC

I'm unable to transfer photos from my BB 9630 Tour device memory to my computer using a USB connection.  I don't have a media card.

When I click on Media Sync > Photos in Desktop version 6.0.1.18 software, I receive the following error message:

    "Media services are not available."

    Storage media is not available.

"Please check a memory card is correctly installed on your BlackBerry device and mass storage mode is running.

Seeking advice, it appears that in previous versions of Desktop Manager, it was possible to transfer photos directly from the device to a PC without having to move the pictures to a memory card.  Is this not possible with version 6?

Have you tried without going through the Desktop software and instead use mass storage Mode?

  • BlackBerry Z30 Somethings wrong with my BlackBerry Z30

Hello! I hope that you are having a good day! (:
My problem is that my BlackBerry apps like music, photos and videos don't work, well, let me explain a little.
I have a Blackberry Z30, and from one day to the other applications such as music, photos and videos stopped showing files, at first I thought they were all deleted hut and then I went to the file manager application and everything was there, except when I restarted my phone it says the same thing in apps "No Music" or any other file , I tried turning on the USB mass storage, then put it inside the SD card again and it didn't work, the fact that I also read using a card reader, but the problem is that I write has a card reader, had an adapter for the micro SD card, is there another way I can fix this? Without the card reader? If you please can someone tell what it could be?
    Thank you!

@JenniGary Are you always this processing, or have you solved it?

For what it's worth, 10.2.1 isn't the last. You see that because the carrier controls the release of OS for end users (in most cases), the device and the link report the latest official version from the carrier.

Regarding the problems of the media, here is what I would try.

Put all the multimedia files on the memory card, if you have not already.

Do not use the mass storage mode, at least not for now. Turn the power off. Connect the device to the computer using link. Do it via wifi, if possible, or use the USB cable. You should see internal storage devices and the memory as readers. You can use the Explorer of files on your computer to move files on the memory card the device.

Now copy everything on the map in a folder on the computer.

Format the media card using the device.

Copy your files (documents, images, video, audio) from the computer to the media card, into the appropriate folders. Do not copy the dat and info files, only files of your document and the media.

Application data must be downloaded again. Some or most of which will be automatic. Others, you may need to do it manually. This will depend on what you have.

    Good luck.
