BlackBerry Z30 Z30 - how to return to the previous version of the operating system

I've upgraded to version 10.3.1.1767 OS and now my company IM no longer works.  No one knows when this will be fixed to Blackberry?  If not, anyone know how I can go back to the previous version of the operating system.  I don't have to worry about losing any information or data that I'm on a company server and I do not save anything on my Blackberry.  Please help - my support is apparantely waiting for Blackberry provide that a fix for this problem and God knows how long it will take.

Thank you

There is no 'BONES' at this level... you're probably citing the "software version", which is something different. Reference:

  • Article ID: KB23393 How to check the model number and the version of the OS on a BlackBerry smartphone

In addition, it is not the true latest version available... However, your carrier may not have approved which is more recent (at least two since this version, I think).

Here, in this community from user to user, anyone know (or if they know, reveal) this forward-looking information.

There are other alternatives, but they depend on some things...

If you used the "automatic" methods to perform the update, this process may well have led to a corruption that is the cause (many related things). Or the version you have installed may well have this fault (many report these).

In any cause, the thing to do is to reload your operating system properly and see if that clears up the problem. Or, update to the really newer version and see if that clears it. The method that I recommend for your situation is autoloader... refer:

With automatic charger, you can install any OS you can find a valid automatic charger, since regardless cases your carrier has approved or not. You can also use the ADF to return to any level of 'work' OS you want. But, honestly, I recommend you use an auto-loader to install the most recent version, then see if things clear up - if not, then use another automatic charger to retreat.

Good luck!

It used a lot, but want to keep going for special purposes.  Get kernel panic/black screen when I try to reinstall the operating system on a blank disc;  deleted before trying to reinstall Lion 10.7.3.  Tried other earlier versions of operating system.  Reinstall the memory chips and ordered new ones as a bet.  Made a "Lion" partition the Middle clone backup FW for my MacBook Pro, but there now El Capitan; window said I have bad installer in MB Pro; Cannot install on this new FW partition, but I don't know if this will help anyway.  Must be HW problem; nothing on the MacBook drive.   Diagnosis I could not complete either.  Impossible to wipe FW with the MB Pro, Lion and other stuff loading to attack the problem of HW?   Don't know how to do in this regard.  A new Disk Warrior 5 and old Tech Tool Pro.  Apple HW Test on the original disc from MacBook will not appear either?   Difficult OB!    Challenge yourself, please!   New mem circuits can do. ??

  • How can I reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive?

I strongly suspect failure of hard drive on my old computer XPS 420. Data recovery isn't a problem. However, because the way I too lazy to buy a whole new operating system, is possible that I can transfer the installation of Windows Vista on a new hard drive? I told me that Dell will send me an installation disc to do, but how to make a record like this, and is there another way?

I'm thinking of ghosting the HDD on another and the use of the recovery for nuke partition in a new facility, but it would even work?

    Thank you

The simplest method, I prefer to install a replacement hard drive, is to clone the existing hard drive to the new, that will also transfer all applications and programs.

You need an imaging utility, similar to True Image Home 2015.

    http://www.Acronis.com/homecomputing/products/TrueImage

Acronis resize partitions transferred to match the size of the new hard drive.

Hard drive manufacturers, also have their own free cloning software available, but it can be used only with their hard drives.

First, install the new drive as the secondary and the image of the main hard drive in it.

Immediately after the cloning, shut down the system, switch the data cable [SATA port 0] to the new disk, making the new master hard drive and see if the system boots properly.

Start the system with only the new hard drive connected.

Be sure to leave the original drive disconnected, until the new hard drive is working to your satisfaction.

Before cloning a hard drive, make sure that the existing drive has no corruption or virus on it, because they will be transferred to the new hard drive.

It will take a second SATA data cable, there should be a spare connector to SATA power inside the housing.

What is obtaining a disc from the Dell operating system Vista OEM [If Dell still copies of this available media], but you can be out of luck unless you have a warranty from Dell, but it's worth a try to see what is happening.

If you reside in the United States, or the Canada and are the registered owner of the computer, with an active warranty, a disk that contains the operating system specific to your system factory installed can be requested HERE.

Note: Dell may impose a charge for the disc.

If you do not live in the United States, contact the Support from Dell, which is located in your country.

  • How can I get the operating system?

My computer broke down the month last because of the material. And I had hardware replaced, but I also lost the operating system. I bought my computer in Toronto last year, but I live in China now, so I transferred to China. The computer is still under warranty. But it will expire on January 4,2014. An agent in China told me that I could not order the CD for operating system just because the computer has not bought in China. Can someone help me with the problem?

    Raiden99

Each Dell laptop comes with a recovery of the OS disk and even discs for re-installation of the drivers. If you have lost the CD, download Ubuntu Linux or if you have something to spend, you can buy Windows 7/8 on your choice. In order for the features, Windows 8 and Windows 7 compatibility.

Unfortunately this is more true. All (not just Dell) computers sold today are supplied without drives. Tablets, ultralight aircraft and some laptops don't even have optical drives. If you must reinstall windows there are several options - using the recovery Partition or Images of system or to order discs from windows or usb thumb drive of the manufacturer, if you are still under warranty.

Here's a cool way, go to this site and it will just detect it and say you:

But another way is to press on +R on the keyboard, and run the winver command
When you run it, it will appear a dialog box with your Version of Windows is displayed.

For a little more detail and modern way, hold and press "Pause/break" of the keyboard.  It will appear a box of more modern.  It's also funny that pressing +Break is the trick to show this :)

  • I managed to successfully install a copy of 'clean' of Vista on D:\. How can I remove the operating system incorrectly installed D:\?

Thank you Mick: This information has been useful and I'm glad I read through it to better understand how to work the partiions.  Having said that, however, I need not expand c:\ and/or remove d:\.  I just need to remove a version of Vista installed drive d:\ I placed on it in error.  At the time, I didn't know I don't follow the prompts closely enough and managed to put a second copy of Vista OS 32-bit Home Basic edition on the wrong drive.

Since then, I have installed correctly copy 'clean' Vista on c:\ and things are now going smoothly.

Now, I just need to understand how to properly uninstall Vista from the wrong drive d:\.

Can anyone help with this?  Thank you very much.

  • How do we install the operating system on a new hard drive?

    Hello

I thought all I had to do was use my recovery disc supplied with my notebook, but while the laptop was working fine for a few days there is now an error message when I try to load windows, something along the lines of "image error, check the Setup disk.

    I did something wrong?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Buddy,

Installation on the new HARD drive is very easy. All you need is Toshiba Recovery disk and you must boot from that disk to begin the installation. Everything is done automatically and factory settings are restored to the new HARD disk.
