• How can I get PremierePro CS6 to speak with Blackmagic card for an HDMI output?

  I recently upgraded my CS5 MacPro to CS6.  I mainly work with Premiere Pro, but also with PhotoShop and its stand.  Previously, my HDMI monitor worked with CS5, but CS6 playback settings had Adobe Player by default as an option and it would not show the Blackmagic card optional.  I have improved my Blackmagic Software to the latest version (9.7), but that no longer works.  After the upgrade of the Blackmagic HDMI signal in the version PremierePro CS5 (still installed and running) has stopped working. Subsequently, the MacOS has been also improved 10.7.5 to 10.8.3 but no change in the result.  I checked all the mechanical linkages.

  My features of the platform are:

  MacPro (early 2009)

  10.8.3 OS

  Processor: 2x2.66 GHz Quad-core Intel Xeon

  Memory: 12 BG, DDR3 1066 MHz

  Dual screen Apple display

  Blackmagic (9.7) output settings: all videos, Audio analogue 4 & 2AES/EBU (NTSC)

  My question is how do PremierePro to speak with the map Blackmagic?

  Blackmagic what card have you?

  There is a known bug with intensity cards and Blackmagic 9.7 driver where it does not export the HD, only SD this should be resolved soon.

  In the meantime, if you have a map of intensity you can go back to the desktop version 9.6.8.

  I use a series of Mac Pro 2012 comes with an ATI Radeon HD of Mo 5770 1024 card. To actually color correction work without pulling my hair, I need a card that interacts well with first Pro CC. Any suggestions?

  Look at the 680GTX. I'd also look a Blackmagic card if you want to use Davinci for color work or work on electronic media.

• BlackMagic Design vs AJA Kona

  I've been a user of card o BMD since about 2003 and currently run their Decklink HD Extreme with PP - CS5.5.2.  I use a plug-in which is very important in my work (Magic Bullet Looks 2). Problem is that it does not properly with WB card (Video Out does not work). Red tech giant says there is a problem with the Decklink driver, which they have yet to solve (in addition to 3 months). Interestingly, the expected functionality Video Out is the reason why I (and probably many others) has recently upgraded to 2 looks like. With it, each setting based on your decision should translate instantly on the external video monitor (rather than just the interface looks on the computer screen). Not until the closure of looks, you are able to see the effect on the television screen, where it counts. If they get solved anytime soon let guess. I don't know I can or do not want to wait any longer.

  So, I plan to replace the card Decklink with a comparable AJA Kona card with which looks like 2 is fully functional. Can anyone share their experience with the AJA Kona brand HD i/o card, comparing it to the Decklink line?

  Yep this work about exactly confirms what I suspected. Red giant running their service as a service host separate plugin. Adobe will not release the Blackmagic card, he has selected and initialized. It is a problem of red giant with how they set up their plugin from Adobe. This is why you must pass the preview in AE for computer screen when you want to use the red giant so AE will come out of the unit.

  To essentially do the same thing in the first, you must close the Blackmagic on the timeline sequence and change the drive for the reader from Adobe. For example, create a sequence as a sequence of duplicate non-Blackmagic in your project. Leave it on the timeline. Copy and paste the Blackmagic sequence on that when you want to manually run the red giant plugin. Close the Blackmagic sequence from the time line. Then drop the plugin in the duplicate sequence and launch the Interface of red giant. See if it will then use the Blackmagic card in the Panel of the host of the red giant

• Problem with Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3D and Premiere Pro CS 5.5.1

  Hello

  I'm having a problem with the first and Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme 3D. When I create a timeline of Blackmagic of any sort and I import a film and start working on it, everything works as expected and are quite fast. I can see the image in the window of my monitor and the output to the external display of JVC is excellent (SDI). If I create another new project and in there I create a regular first screening chronology (in this case to edit Canon 5 d MKII footage) I can also change without problem (and with even better named Update).

  The problem appears when I try to have a timeline for Blackmagic and a predefined regular creation timeline in the same project. If I create the chronology of Blackmagic first, I can import and edit, but at the moment I have create a first preselection timeline screen goes black for a second (which always happens btw) and then comes back again. So I can edit the first timeline screening perfectly but the chronology of Blackmagic image stopped appearing in the monitor window. I can play, I can hear and I can see it in the external monitor of JVC. But on the computer screen the only thing I see are images that paint on it and somehow stuck in there get it looks like some sort of overlay problem. After that if I close first he won´t close properly. I have to force it out. If I first create a first timeline preset that works just fine but when I create a timeline of Blackmagic this work won´t (the first timeline works fine)

  So, my guess would be that first pass to a certain color depth or space when creating a first screening chronology and for some reason any the Blackmagic card won´t adapt or update so I find myself with no picture and the remains of some images that I place on the monitor window area. I can see the scopes and all waveforms but not the video. Also perhaps monitors and display port adapters have something to do. I'll change soon so monitors would be nice to know if it's part of the problem.

  Any idea? Waiting to hear from Blackmagic too.

  I had a similar problem with a Matrox card.  The solution was to turn on the composition of the bureau.  It is under properties - TAB, show - system on the 4th in the advanced settings list.  Some programs (for example AVID) insist on this being extinguished, but with CS5.5 I needed active.  I have not tested this with dark magic devices.  It don't has not caused me a problem with CS5,

  Actually Yes, Geforce cards can produce 10-bit color via HDMi and displayport. However they are supported only with applications that use DirectX for the API. Support 10-bit color Quadro via Open GL. Adobe uses Open GL, so you would need a Quadro card for 10-bit with Adobe on video cards. However, you can get a map of IO as a card Aja or Blackmagic card and get 10 bit color overview this way which is what I would say since these that a gross result of enforcement and the color space is not performed by the operating system or the video driver.

  Many of us notice a carry-on several images after hitting stop during playback through our video cards. Go to Preferences > playback and see if you have a video device verified (for example an AJA or Blackmagic card). Uncheck the box if you do, so that you do not play video through this card.

  Also: when the dynamic link was introduced, I managed to get an overview of the projects agency rather complex in real time. Now, even though my dynamically linked AE project has a JPG image, I can't preview anything without first (at best, I get very jerky playback). I have not changed a thing on my system apart to have downloaded the updates of Adobe.

  The reason why I am writing here rather than to contact Adobe support, is that my experience with them is of 30 minutes on the phone, having to present the problem and myself three people each time from the beginning and get "it's a bug" as a response. After sending the e-mail, solutions include uninstall plug-ins and third-party 3rd and tests (Needless to say, exchange of hardware and all software to a new ecosystem is altogether easier than that.)

  Let me answer myself (re: problem 2 - applies to other resolutions as well)

  The problem is with the workspaces created by the user (which is a bug in the body that has to do with workspaces created by the user). Using one integrated workspaces (and even that twist to its taste) make the problem disappears.

  Adobe support suggested the fault with a Thunderbolt defective cable, even though I pointed out the problem is identical in the two separate system configurations with three different cables. Personally, I preferred the "it's a bug" - answer.

  I assume by "color correction" you mean that the color management. for example, you have activated a profile of color space for the project.

  What you describe is likely normal behavior for After Effects. Here are the requirements of framework (dimensions, frame rate, bit depth) and the speed of the CPU. You can improve performance by reducing the rate of resolution or frame your outline, or by disabling the view > use display color management. If your project is set at 16 or 32 - bits, reducing the number of colors also will improve performance, of course at the expense of the accuracy of the colors you want.

  When color management is enabled, more precisely to what view > use display color management is enabled, each image is displayed on the screen After Effects calculates a transformation of color on the fly. This transformation requires additional CPU cycles and may slow down the performance of reading; How much will depend on the requirements of the framework (dimensions, frame rate, bit depth) and the speed of your CPU.

  After effects can also use the GPU to perform this transformation of color, by activating the preferences > display > hardware accelerate Composition, layer, & film option panels. When enabled, there should be no loss of performance for color management. Note that this option has been disabled in after effects CC 2015 (13.5) due to a problem of compatibility between the new architecture and the GPU pipeline. This problem has been resolved, and the underlying code very improved, in the next update after effects CC 2015.

  Activation video preview via Mercury pass has an impact similar to color management, which, as each image is displayed on the screen, it is also sent to the subsystem mercury pass which consumes cycles processor additional to transform the frame for display on the second screen, and that the transformation may cause performance of reading to be touched. This applies if you are using a third party such as AJA card. Note that transmit mercury is not accelerated by the GPU.

  If color management and pass of mercury are activated, the two processes will affect the performance of reading at the same time.

  GPU acceleration performance is based on the specifications of raw material of the video cards. The upper end of video game cards have better specs than almost all the cards Quadro. For example, the Titan X has the same characteristics as the m6000 Quadro. However the Titan x is around $1,000, while the Quadro M6000 is about $4000. The only real difference in terms of Adobe is the Quadro card allows preview 10-bit color out of the video card with Adobe applications. Geforce cards do not with Adobe applications. You must get an Aja or Blackmagic card for preview color 10-bit instead, if you need that.

  The 99 X boards are simple socket CPU boards. The double plug to Dual Xeons boards are motherboards. That would push far beyond your budget listed above. Asus X 99 cards are what we suggest. If you can watch a Dual Xeon server and config card and the Asus Z10PE WS D8, what I would say.

• Problems with Panasonic VTR

  -Blackmagic DeckLink Extreme 4 K (drivers 10.3.4)

  -VTR Panasonic AJ-D850

  -First Pro CC 20141

  When I export the clip on the band, it is not record audio, but first, I see the output of the modulation.

  Another problem is that when I capture I hear a noise and that noise is not in the dvcpro.

  I looked at all the audio options first, but I have not solved the problem.

  Is there a configuration or a method to solve the problem? Maybe my video card is not Compatible with VTR and first?

• After the default text of the hot level effects video

  When creating text or graphics white tip, when viewing on a video waveform monitor are illegally high.

  There are peaks and oscillations on the edges of the black to white and white to black transitions that take levels above .7mV and below 0mv. The Leader LV 5700 A raise an alarm too.

  I do my white text 234/234/234.  16/16/16 black.  Never a problem in the scopes or live.

• Adobe first cc pro crashes when I export to dvd

  Hi all

  I recently bought a mac pro and shifted to adobe first cc of fcp 7. I am to change a complicated documentary project where I have to deal with different sequences such as mxf, m2ts, mts, mp4, mov, etc., these are the images that my Director has obtained from the different assigned person. These people are using various types of camera like sony fs100 & z7, p1 (hdv), panasonic 102aen, and 250, canon dslr brand 2, 3, etc, I know they use various types of compression. I have also some archival footage of vhs that is converted to mpeg.

  I use a blackmagic card ultra studio 4 k. so I'm dumping images into sequences with a setting 1920 * 1080 p with blackmagic 8-bit yuv compression. I logged mainly footage without any problem. But recently I was exporting footage on DVD, my cc first crashing repeatedly. I should mention that I don't have cc adobe media encoder.

  This is a huge project with almost 4TB footage. He was running so smoothly so far. but I do not know what is wrong 3/4 days back my project also crashed. Anyway, I picked up this project but cannot export anything from him. Note that I exported a lot of footage dvd before.

  can someone give suggestion what should be my best setting of the sequence and why it crashes? My final goal of output is 1920 * 1080 p. Thanks in advance.

• Audio drops after 7 seconds

  Hi members,

  I recorded an audio which has 16 channels through the black magic card. When I import videos thr on the timeline and play, it stops after 7 seconds. I can rub it well but the game does not work. I'm on windows 8 using PP 7.0.1 with intensity black magic pro installed with the last update. I have card 650 m gtx completely up to date for new pilots, blackmagic card is alo updated and enjoy my game of project very well.

  Thanks for the reply. Please unlink audio and video, and then select the audio and go to the option menu/audio clip and try to make and replace. Check the reading new ot could deal with the issue.

  I'm on windows 7 64 bit, 24 MB of RAM, 2 * 2.5 Xeon. latest drivers GeForce GTX 470.

  Whenever I want that after CS6 effect, I have to kill me all processes in the Task Manager. He is not leaving itself. I use multiprocessing of AE and I have to kill one by one and also kill dynamiclink.exe.I just reinstall windows 7 on a new SSD drive and installed the creative cloud applications. Therefore, a new system. I have another computer with same spec and I don't have this problem. The only difference between them is a blackmagic card. I already uninstalled it but it's always the same. I have not found any answer on the forum. Apparently I'm alone.
