GeForce® GTX 760 30-bit color display?

Hello! I searched a lot but couldn't find a clear answer. Is it possible to output 10-bit (10 bits per channel) of an ASUS GeForce® GTX 760 color DirectCU II?

or do I need a Nvidia Quadro for whom?

Thanks in advance!

Actually Yes, Geforce cards can produce 10-bit color via HDMi and displayport. However they are supported only with applications that use DirectX for the API. Support 10-bit color Quadro via Open GL. Adobe uses Open GL, so you would need a Quadro card for 10-bit with Adobe on video cards. However, you can get a map of IO as a card Aja or Blackmagic card and get 10 bit color overview this way which is what I would say since these that a gross result of enforcement and the color space is not performed by the operating system or the video driver.

  • Mounting 4 k RED in CS6 files, means SLI help in reading and publishing? (GeForce GTX - 760 vcard)

I just bought a card GeForce GTX-760 and noticed great improvements for video playback on my old card.

I want to start edition RED 4 k files and be able to read in 4 k, currently I can get smooth playback in the resolution of 1/2, but thought if I bought a 2nd card and used SLI I'd be able to get 4 k for playback on my system... would this work?

I have done the research for this, but could not find much on the use of SLI in first CS6...

Short of getting a rocket RED, how could achieve smooth RED 4 k playback and editing in CS6?

With CS6, you are limited to a SINGLE video card.

With CC, SLI does not help. See Page Tweakers - what video card use?

A second video card can help marginally with CC only, , but the only thing that really helps is more cores, more cache L3 and higher clock speed memory.

    Hi random34,

Did you uninstall the previous graphics driver before starting your PC with GTX card?

This map requires an 8 pin and one 6-pin. Check your power connections.

Try to start in safe mode. Press F8 repeatedly at start. Uninstall the incorrect drivers if applicable. Install the graphics drivers from Nvidia.

Some recent graphics cards require the UEFI BIOS.

    Hello

Looks like an amazing system. I'd go with the GTX 760 4 GB. I have same system specs and recently ordered the GTX760. Almost, I went with the 660Ti, but noticed that the 760 plays better in benchmarks and not much higher in price. Of course the 760 is excessive now, but in a few months you want to that you had that extra power. I don't like having to upgrade to often. The 760 goes for about 279.00 4 GB and 2 GB 249.99. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/GeForce-GTX-760-Review-gk104, 3542 - 17.html

  • the EVGA GeForce GTX SC 760 will work on my h8 - 1360t with motherboard Formosa?

Maybe a silly question but will the EVGA GeForce GTX SC 76 working mother FORMOSA on a map?

    Sticknrudder, welcome to the forum.

Not ridiculous at all in question.  It is difficult to know which video cards work in computers of nowadays.  I had to do a lot of research, including telephone calls to EVGA and XFX Support' are.

In this case, the video card will not work in your computer.  All the GT to introduce 640 EVGA video cards require a complete UEFI BIOS into the motherboard.  HP didn't start to use a complete UEFI BIOS until October 2012.  Your computer was released in July 2011.

In addition, most of the newer cards will require a power supply unit (PSU) upgrade.  It is, in other words, you have chosen the 460W or 600W PSU when you purchased the computer.  Even the 460W may not be enough to power for some of the cards.

MSI makes a video card with a hybrid VBIOS with a switch to select an inheritance or a UEFI BIOS.  There's a video in the link I provided just below the map image.  Paul of Newegg has done a good job of explining map.  I suggest you contact their Technical Support to ensure that it will work on your computer.  It is 9.84 "in length.  I suggest to make a model of the size of the card to ensure that it will not go in the space provided if they say that it will work.

  • Why does it take the GeForce GTX 560 Ti does NOT OpenCL?

Starting from the Nvidia web site, he says that the GeForce GTX 560 Ti supports: DirectX 11 > 3D Vision > PhysX > CUDA > SLI >

301,24 drivers have been used and have downgraded to 296.10 to see if that would help, but it didn't.

When I check the performance, under Advanced tab, it shows that OpenCL is greyed out.  When I check the Sys info record also shows that OpenCL is not availible (included below).

Why is this and when it fixed?  Now only available CS6 it should work.

  • First Pro CC gives an error "Could not create image buffer" and crashing after installing a videocard GeForce GTX 1070.

    Hi all

I recently installed a GeForce GTX 1070 video card and drivers current in my bench mounted, very happy for the potential break in the rendering and playback (I was using previously a very old ASUS Radeon HD 7850). I had nothing else problems since.

When I first tried a project of creation of opening, audio refused to play (speakers, headphones, everything...) I looked at the volume mixer while playing through the timeline and no audio only showed upward). Everything seemed fine. I closed, cleared the cache, opened the first, this time hold Alt while doing so to reset the preferences. Open very well, audio read back fine, that only now first was blocked indefinitely the generation of PEK files for a short audio clip in the project.

After a long bit of troubleshooting in the speakers, I went ahead and did a complete uninstall of Premiere Pro and After Effects, then reinstalled both programs to their current versions (2015.4 and 2015.3, respectively). No more problems of generation PEK, but something much worse. Now, whenever I try to change the CUDA acceleration enabled, I can maybe five minutes absolute performance first until I get an error "Could not create image buffer", warning of notifications of Windows that your computer is low on memory, and finally, a complete crash where the screen goes black, flickers a couple times, then stays black for good with only the mouse cursor appears on the screen.

The images that I'm editing is all images Go Pro, no effects applied. I am doing this for a client and need ready in a week, but the constant crashing makes them difficult to work around. I can more or less run by changing the acceleration of software only, display options but it is much slower and the memory is still eaten up like crazy (if I place the open Task Manager and start to scrub through the timeline I can watch the memory usage get up to 95% in 20 seconds approximately). Reading suffers as a result once the RAM is full until almost full.

    Technical specifications

First Pro CC 2015.4 (latest version)

OS: Windows 10 Pro (Version 1511)

    CPU: Intel Core i7 - 5820 K CPU @ 3.30 GHz

    RAM: 16 GB

GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 (latest drivers)

SSD (OS and Adobe Suite installed): SanDisk SSD internal 240 GB 2.5 inch SDSSDA - 240 G - G25

Hard drive (where I put my multimedia files): WD Black 2 TB Performance Desktop Hard Drive: 3.5 inch, SATA 6 Gb/s, 7200 RPM, 64MB Cache

    Motherboard: ASRock X 99 Extreme4 LGA 2011-3 ATX Intel

Film source - source footage is an hour of video of Go Pro, all arranged on the timeline, no effect applied (I'm just trying change the original film in a short video).

    Type: MPEG Movie (.mp4)

    Image size: 3840 x 2160

    Frame rate: 29.97

    Format of the pixels: 1.0

It is worth noting that, with my old dusty Radeon GPU, I was able to edit these clips with ease. No reading, no problem of image buffer. I do not see my RAM never go above 60% usage, when I got this card is installed.

Also worth noting, that the first, I have noticed absolutely no problems, and the video card itself seems to work very well. I can play MGSV at max settings with perfect reading, as well as other graphics intensive games.

    Any help?

It's been almost a week and I had zero problems. First Pro CC 2015.2 works like a dream! I'll go ahead and mark this thread closed.

For those just tuning, I was able to find a solution by uninstalling the Premiere Pro and After Effects, and then reinstall them back to last known stable on my bench (Premiere Pro 2015.2 and after 2015.2 effects). So far, running these versions has been very good, even with active CUDA acceleration.

The only downside is that all the projects I've done in Premiere Pro version 2015.4 should be re-edited from scratch. But I've had absolutely zero problems using the program, which is a relief. Hope Adobe fixes this problem whenever 2015.5 is out!

  • Improvement of the GPU: GeForce GTX 770 with SLI or Nvidia Quadro K5000 2 cards?

Hello, I'll start working with video files in raw format of 4 k (Premiere, After Effects, SpeedGrade, S.redgiant plug-ings). Now, I have a graphics GPU Nvidia GeForce GTX 770, but told me that video game cards GeFroce limited fukntsional when working with video in first. Is this really so? If I change my card Nvidia Quadro K5000 that presents similar characteristics, will I get additional features working in Adobe (Premiere, After Effect, SpeesGrade) programs? Does make sense in such a substitution? Or is it better to buy a second GTX 770 and put in SLI? Adobe, which will support?

No, the Geforce cards have a limitation with 4K media and GPU acceleration. The GPU CUDA acceleration IE is not specific to Geforce or Quadro. The specifications of the cards decide the performance. The specifications of the Geforce are much more important than the K5000 Quadro if you get the 780Ti or the Titan Black Edition. The two cards are cheaper. The only advantage that the Quadro card has in what concerns Adobe is the option to output 10-bit color for previewing as Adobe Open GL for the API. However, you can get a Blackmagic 4 K card to studio with a Titan Black edition and still spend less money than the K5000 while having much better performance. I have personally run an E5 - 2697 V2 12 Core Xeon with 4 GB 770GTX card and I play 4K r3d back at half resolution easily right now. Full resolution for previewing with 4K red is simply not possible through any software other than Redcine X Pro right now until the demosaicing of GPU acceleration is available. BTW, I would say 1 Titan Black edition of 2 x 770GTX cards. In all of the GPU scaling only works on the rendering now. When the debayer to GPU acceleration is available, then adding that a 2nd map of Titan would be much better than having 2 x 770GTX cards.

SLI and the GPU acceleration are 2 different technologies. SLI is scaling of drawing to the screen through more than 1 video card. The GPU acceleration is a module of programming that are sending computations to the GPU for processing that were normally handled by the player through the CPU. Acceleration GPU don't require or even use SLI for evolving on GPU. It's successful and at the request of the application.

  • P7-1240/UEFI/GeForce GTX 750Ti

    Hello

I have an old P7-1240 of 2 years... it runs Windows 7.

I just tried to install a card EVGA GEFORCE GTX inside 750Ti.

Card fits very well and the HP screen comes up... but black screen then when Windows tries to start.

Remove the card and return to the onboard video works fine.  I did this several times.

From what I see to speak with the support of GeForce, it seems to be a problem of BIOS or UEFI.

It doesn't seem to be a new BIOS version available from HP support.

    The machine supports UEFI?

When you look at the boot sequence seems to me, that it lists sources of UEFI Boot.

Also in the BIOS it seems not be anyway to disable the onboard video (as it is supposed to detect automatically).

Map was new from the box, so it is unlikely that it is defective (especially since it displays welcome/BIOS HP).

    Help please, any ideas welcome!

Sorry should have said it is with the card GeForce 660... did not yet try map 700 series since EVGA said that it would not work certainly.

  • Satellite L300 - I do not have 32-bit colors on the screen

    Hi all

I just bought a new laptop Toshiba Satellite L300 and after Vista initial installation it doesn t show the colors of the screen properly. I set up the resolution, but also the 32-bit color, but on the screen, it shows just something like 256 colors.

Everyone he knew similar, any idea where I should look like or change something to have own 32-bit colors.

    Thanks Zeljko

    Hello

To be honest, it's really strange.
What you could do is to repeat the HARD drive recovery.

Turn on the laptop, press the F8 key and choose fix my computer.
Then choose Toshiba Recovery and you start the resettlement process.

The laptop must be set to the factory settings, and you can check if the display problem would persist.

    Good bye
