• Resize a picture on a blank canvas

  It must be easy, but I can of course understand how do.  I created a blank canvas (new file) 3.5 x 5.5 inches.  I then opened a photo and drag it from the window 'View files open' to the blank canvas in the main editing window.  The photo is larger and much, much, but I can't figure out make sizing handles appear so I can drag the corner of the photo and the size (in fact a part of the photo) to fit on the white canvas.  Using Adobe Elements said to double click on the photo to display the sizing handles, but it doesn't matter.  Help!

• In CS4 crop tool captures a blank canvas unwanted outside the image

  I'm a bit puzzled by the crop tool in CS4 compared with CS2 and earlier versions.  The most irritating feature is the following: in CS4, the marquis does not lock the edge of the image; Instead, it easily moves outside the file area, capturing extra blank canvas.  The result is a lot of waste of time zooming in and fixing the problem after the fact by the projection of splinters of canvas of extra unwanted.  Is there a way set a preference so that the marquis of trimming stops at the edge of the file, as it did in earlier versions of photoshop?

  Don't forget to choose the view > Snap to > Document limits.

  Two problems here, maybe they are related. I went through and deleted to rebuild the database as other say to do and much more for a while. I'm puzzled.

If I log in e-mail that these emails have not the sender, subject, but all seem to have the same date and time and of course emails are empty.

  Annoying problem: my research through my emails will show old messages deleted and shippers with dates and summer topic. But of course, they are removed if no content. I would rather all of these old emails go goodbye altogether.

  3rd, my filters do not auto filter, I have to put this (new to me) option up badly. I'm not going in and manually filter.

  I'm sorry, I waited so long to write, and the problems have accumulated. I'm a newbie with all this, so please be gentle and detailed with me. I think generally these things read me solutions, but all the solutions I found were only for the first problem (above) and seems to help for a little while, then boom she is still with blank emails, which appear to be completely lost.

  Maybe you can guide me to maintain my emails (Imap) online on the server and only read, write, and delete Thunderbird? I am so lost and frustrated. Thank you.

  That your description sounds a lot to Norton anti virus, but others do.

  Multiple copies of the same message are repeated almost always anti virus analyzes incoming messages. Disable analysis and the problem goes away then turn it on and it resumes.

  My guess is that your filter problems and research problems are also associated with this uniquitous and most ignored security tool that mess so far more than it should...

  I assume you mean the global-messages - db.sqlite. If you close Thunderbird and now delete. Research will be incomplete until it rebuilt and the time to do this will have a lot to do with how much mail is and how busy the computer is.

  Now, create an exclusion in your anti virus program for Thunderbird profile folders. My guess is it is scanning the files in your profile, every time that Thunderbird tries to open and turning usually things in a fierce struggle, including Thunderbird loses that he just does not wait if files are locked. He expects exclusive access to her files immediately, not in 10 minutes when anti virus did it's thing. So things are added to the index but not deleted. Mails do not move as the destination or source file is 'in service', etc..

• BUG: .psd opens as a blank canvas

  CC last, latest Mac OS, all drivers updated.

  Double click to open a .psd to layers, on open displays of the image as a solid white canvas. I have zoom in or out to display the image correctly.

  Behavior started only since the last CC version. Frustrating to say the least.

  better talk to Apple, as the graphics cards drivers are their responsibility and nothing to do with Adobe.

  1. It doesn't matter what file I opened, none of my layers appear more. All I get is a white background.
  2. And if I cover every single layer you'd think I'd see the background pattern. Nope! Even not that appears.
  3. My colleague tried open my files on his copy of the CS6 and files work fine.
  4. I checked and my version of Photoshop CC is up-to-date.

  Delete my Preferences file seems to fix the problem. Re-import my CS5 preferences, however, brought back the question. I therefore deleted again and then declined to import preferences of CS5.

• Project design have gone and turned into white canvas

  I opened the draw adobe app on my ipad pro and you press the tab project of change, then clicked on it and all of a sudden one of my more recent designs have gone and turned into a blank canvas. I can't find it anywhere. Please let me know how this can be restored. I have it has not deleted, and it does not appear in my creative cloud assets folder or in the mobile folder.

  and look at this thread, the only real connection so far is it is very recent and it involves blank e-mail.

  Those who are in this thread say blank incoming emails doesn't work except if they Disable Adblock Plus from the icon of ADP.

  In fact, the rich text editor would be in a separate file, there is most likely a connection to ADP because some of these files may be blocked. I used to have a lot of problem in this forum on the web and the tools were blocked (didn't really need them) just because I block a lot of things here: like animals to fur in nurse uniforms, a trash can (toolkit) and that blue area at the bottom of this page that interferes with scrolling and the use of the key 'end '.

  Something seems to be wrong with your profile, clicking on it does not bring it upwards.

  and attract the Illustrator: design drawing and vector app | Download Adobe Illustrator Draw

  You can add grids in both applications. Sketch is more textural and raster and draw a more fluid and vector drawing tools is based.

  After downloading the free icons, I used the method drag-and - déposer to put the icon of my choice on a blank canvas of 313 x 188 pixels. The image is larger that I need it to be, so I need to make the image smaller while keeping the size of the canvas to 313 x 188 pixels. I tried several things after Google search, but have had no luck. Help; I'm still learning! Thanks in advance!

  CTRL/cmd-T will show the transformation. Then just drag the handles to resize - hold down the SHIFT key to constrain the proportions.

• How do I keep the size of an Image when it is placed on a new canvas?

  I've worked with a lot of different Photoshops, but recently, I was in another computer so I just Photoshop Elements. I was excited about its use and opens a blank canvas to start working with. When I pasted into another image, he immediately reduced the image to fit at the height of the canvas, which is not what I wanted. I want the image to maintain full-size when pasted in the new canvas.

  Do you really mean that you pasted, or a drag you to the photo tray? If it is a bug known - see here for workarounds: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1393774?tstart=0.

• Problems with the e-mail contact form

  I've tried tutorials about as much as I can find online to create a contact form within my flash who sends me automatically when a person completes the forms, including a very good step by step, to VTC. What I found is that most of these tutorials start with the assumption that you create the contact form on a blank canvas of flash, that is the reality, is not always the case. Although sometimes I'm able to get forms to work if I do it on a brand new Flash animation at the time wherever I try to recreate the form in my current flash file, it stops working. For the most part, I tried to recreate the contact form as a separate film within my flash file on its own layer and tried to place the Submit button in the form of contact and outside it - film or also works of course.

  Anyone could guide my in the right direction? With CS3 btw.

  It's AS2 code, but you have posted in the forum of AS3.  Which version of actionscript is your file configured to use?

• Firefox is reset, cannot restore my profile

  Firefox is reset for any reason, was able to restore my bookmarks and passwords but could not recover my extensions. I did the procedure of profile (creating a new default profile and the copy - paste of my old data in this folder after deleting everything) and Firefox still loads a blank canvas when I select this profile.

  I can't batch reinstall of my xpi and I don't want to lose all the information contained in some of my extensions (configuration/data etc.). Anyone with the same problem?

  Hmm, you should see some personal data in the profile if everything fell into its correct place. You can try it another way?

  First of all, make sure that Firefox is completely closed. So go ahead and open these two folders:

  (1) the old data of Firefox

  (2) your Firefox profiles folder. For quicker access to this file, you can type or paste the following text in the start search box menu (and press enter) or in the address bar in a window of Windows Explorer:

  %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles
  

  Then, copy your previous profile from #1 to #2 folder (for example, right-click > copy #1 and right click > paste to #2).

  In the #1 window, type or paste this into the address bar and press ENTER:

  %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox
  

  In this folder, you should see a file called profiles.ini. If Windows hides the extension .ini, you can display it. See this Microsoft article on measures for this: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/show-hide-file-name-extensions

  Right click > edit the file profiles.ini and it should open in Notepad. You should see something like the following:

  There may be several entries, but you want to change which is currently the default and dysfunctional.

  Change the part of path after profiles / to match the name of the folder that you pasted in the #2 window. Then try to start new Firefox

• Can I allow someone else access to my favorites?

  You said you didn't want to 'merge' bookmarks. If you want to actually synchronize bookmarks, then by all means use Xmarks or the built-in synchronization feature.

  I would like to start by rearranging your table so that the amounts from here to 2015 and 2016 switch not in the column, as implied in your question.

  Vocabulary of the numbers:

  worksheet not sentence numbers

  Worksheet: A spreadsheet. Usually abbreviated to 'Document '.

  Leaf: a blank canvas on which are placed the tables and other objects. A Document has at least one and maybe more than one.

  Table: an object consisting of one or more cells, arranged in rows and columns.

  Take a look at the personal Budget template (file > new form model...), specifically the summary in the table of categories.

  It uses the formula: = SUMIF (Transactions::Category, A2, Amount)

  Since you want to compare the volumes in several CATEGORIES at the specific two-year MONTH, you will need SUMIFS, using three test values, pairs of condition.

  Syntax: = SUMIFS (sum of the values,test values,condition,test values,condition,test values,condition)

  I would like to know if it is enough information. If this isn't the case, I'll be later in the day to enter more specific details. In the meantime, a screenshot of your table and the lines of (at least) your transactions table header would be probably useful.
