  Plug in your mp3 player and open Windows Media Player.

  Follow these steps and see if it's what you wanted;

  Configure a limit of Bitrate MP3

  1. in Windows Media Player 12, click on the menu to organize, and then click Options and select the tab plug-in.

  2. in the categorylist, select background.

  3. in the backgroundlist, select MGTEK dopisp and click on Properties.

  4. on the Conversiontab, check the MP3 from re - encode that exceed a limit of flowand choose an encoding rate and the rate limit.

  I'm on Windows 7 Pro with 28.0 Firefox and Flash blocker 4.20.13 installed. Flash blocker doesn't block Flash in web pages. How can I get Flash Blocker to block Flash applications in web pages?

  I'm not familiar with this particular extension. The reviews seem to indicate it does not work for everyone.

  Here's how you can enable "click-to-play", a built-in feature of Firefox for Flash. This will delay the Flash start on a page, until you approve.

  To set the Flash to "Ask to activate", open the page of modules using either:

  • CTRL + SHIFT + a
  • Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > Add ons

  In the left column, click on Plugins. Search 'Shockwave Flash' and always change 'enable' to 'ask to activate '.

  When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification in the address bar icon and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.

  Once you approve Flash on a site, all the movies on the page will be charge. If you want to control one by one, there is a different extension, designed to work with click-to-play function of Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/click-to-play-per-element/

• I can't download to work - it does not copy the mp3 files to my location (as defined in tools/options) - it gives me a new window with a player - no dwnlo

  I am running windows xp sp2 and I put my site to dowload under (Tools/options), but when I select an MP3 file to download, firefox does NOT copy the file to my location of choice on my HD - instead, it opens a new window with a 'player' of fortune and starts to load the player with the MP3 file. The problem is that I have no idea where on my system, firefox has copied this file, so, I can't leave and come back later and read this MP3 file using winamp. I need to hear right then or lose - if I close this new window (with this puny little ' player'), then I lose the download, there where to put firefox on my PC (I have no idea where it is). It's all under firefox 25.0

  I also use FIrefox 12.0 on an older windows 2000 machine and that works perfectly - I can download any MP3 file, I want to, and downloads of firefox 12.0 (on win2k, sp4) to my location (on my HD), and it gives me the download window so I can watch its progress and have some control over break and resume , and, when it's done, the download window offers me the option 'open containing folder' so I can make sure that where I wanted. In other words, Firefox 12.0 on WIn2k, sp4 works better than firefox on winxp sp2 25.0! What gives? I went through and set up my options for XP just like I did with Win2k and everything looks good, but firefox 25.0 don't know just my chosen and always default place to give me fortune player and I am not able to actually copy the mp3 files on my hard drive - it's firerox almost unusable 25.0 since downloading mp3 files is a big part of my use firexfox - please help. I am not able to upgrade windows at this time, and since firefox 12.0 still works fine on win2k, I do not understand what has happened to firefox?

  For Christmas, I got my Sansa Fuze and it works fine until I upgraded the firmware version. Now when I try to connect my Fuze on my Vista PC it does not work, I looked around and tried to uninstall the drivers, switching modes USB, switching USB ports and everything that I could find and it won't pop up in my computer at all. in Device Manager, it is the yellow warning symbol and for me this is one "this device cannot start.   My home computer has crashed and had to be rebuilt with the new operating system.  So I got the machine back with what I assume is a newer version of Windows XP.  New but, as usual with MicroSofty, not improved.  Now they apparenty realize that they make any money of format mp3 and everything just stopped supporting.  (imagine if Nikon stopped supporting jpeg format?  ) They try to convince you how fantastic their new WMA file format is and do you want to hunt for a bolt on app which will tear actually mp3.  And where they send that you do have an app to do what I can see.
