Blocked Windows in safe mode activation loop.

So here's the problem, I used windows xp pro x 64 now for a little over 2 years and it has worked perfectly until today. I play with some programs of hertz of mouse that required me to start in safe mode. I went to boot safe mode via msconfig. My computer starts up fine until I got to the login screen and it said "this copy of Windows must be activated with Microsoft before you can continue. You cannot connect until you activate Windows. Because activation is not possible in safe mode, restart your computer in normal mode to activate windows. »

Since I started with safe mode via msconfig, I can't boot into normal windows more. It will automatically start in safe mode and with this activation pop up, I can't get into the operating system, or even to command promt. I tried to start with the last known good configuration, I tried to start Windows normally through the f8 during the startup option.

I really don't want to reformat, it will result in a large number of documents and deletion of files.

Is there anyway I can somehow I cannot go into msconfig change back and start windows normally?

Niramaya,
Well, it sounds as if your system is not seeing the drive or is unable to access it properly.  At this point, you would probably need to see if the encryption program society has any means to help remove encryption, if you add the drive to another system.  With regard to obtaining a XP disc you need to contact the PC manufacturer and see if they offer a replacement recovery media. Looks like your hard drive is defective or has failed.

Use the following steps to confirm that.

    Hard drive:

Go to the website of your computer manufacturer > find specifications of hardware in your computer (hard drive) > access the Web Hard Drive from the manufacturer site > download their diagnostic software > make a Bootable disc > test your hard drive.

  • Can't install Itunes, get an error that the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode"

    OP: Install problems Windows

I tried to install iTunes, but he said that "the Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode or if Windows Installer is not installed properly. Call support personnel. "They gave me similar messages by other programs I've tried to install as well.

Because I was not running Windows in safe mode in time, I assumed that the installer was not installed correctly. So I tried to download from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=5A58B56F-60B6-4412-95B9-54D056D6F9F4&displaylang=en

But then I got error messages like "this update does not apply to your system" and "not enough memory is available to process this command." I tried all the links and none of them worked for me. I'm running a Vista Home Premium 64 bit, and I 2.38 GB of available RAM, so I don't think that the lack of memory is the problem here. What should I do?

1.] I had a previous version of iTunes, but I got rid of it with Revo Uninstaller.

I was looking around and I found this: http://www.vistax64.com/vista-installation-setup/96680-repair-windows-installer-service-vista-all-versions-2.html

I followed the direction of the last message (by F'n Vista) and changed the value of WOW64 Registry and now iTunes has installed perfectly and works now. I'll try to install other programs that I got hurt with previously. Thank you very much for your help! :)

  • Download Windows 10 Windows 7 safe mode

My laptop Lenovo starts only in Safe Mode; I have Windows 7 installed and updated.  This afternoon he stops suddenly and will now start safe mode, no matter what I do, including restoring to a previous restore point. I run anti-malware and antivirus scans, and everything was reported to be good.  My question is this: can I download 10 Windows in safe mode of Windows 7?

You can not run the upgrade in Safe Mode and wouldn't take the risk from corruption in the new OS even when.

But you can create support Installation Windows 10 and then make superior Clean install Windows 10 Upgrade, because any day now, a new Version will be pushed through Windows Update that enables directly with the old OS key product.  Windows fall 10 day set for November release

  • After a power cut my PC is in a loop in the start windows normally, safe mode, last known good configuration screen

KB307545 is a very bad idea to begin with - especially after a power failure (and it's usually just a very bad idea).  You don't describe symptoms suggestive of a need to run the KB307545, but, I'm not a Microsoft Support engineer so don't hesitate if you are forced to do, and I wish you good luck.

What you need to do, is start in the XP Recovery Console and run chkdsk/r first.  Is is possible that the blackout damaged your NTFS file system and a chkdsk/r is to clean it.

Provide information on your system, the better you can:

What is your system brand and model?

What is your Version of XP and the Service Pack?

Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

The question was preceded by a loss of power, aborted reboot or abnormal termination?  (this includes the plug pulling, buttons power, remove the battery, etc.)

The afflicted system has a working CD/DVD (internal or external) drive?

You have a true bootable XP installation CD (it is not the same as any recovery CD provided with your system)?

Sometimes, when XP has a problem starting or falls down and tries to start again, it will give you a "short" menu of boot options and none of them will appear to be good to get your system going again.  You have tried them all!

The options are similar to the Advanced Boot Options menu XP, but the only option that you need (disable automatic error system reboot) are not offered, because XP went too far during the boot process and offers a limited number of boot options.

If this is the case, you must call Options menu advanced boot yourself until you do not see the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

When you get the XP Advanced Options correct start menu you want to see, he has options on it like these:

    Safe mode
    Safe mode with networking
    Safe mode with command prompt

    Enable Boot logging
    Enable VGA mode
Last good Configuration known (your most recent settings that worked)
Directory Services Restore Mode (Windows domain controllers only)
    Debug mode
Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

    Start Windows normally
    Reset
    Return to OS Choices Menu

You need to choose in this menu is the option:

Disable the automatic restart in the event of system failure

Then if XP does not start normally, you will see an error screen with information and clues about the problem and then you can decide what to do next.

If you do not see the automatic restart on system failure option turn it off, you must reset your system and start typing the key F8 on the keyboard until you see her disable automatic restart on system failure option.

If you miss the window of opportunity F8, you must try again and start tapping the F8 key with more urgency (earlier and more frequently) until you see disable automatic restart on system failure, and then select.

You must keep trying the F8 menu until you see disable automatic restart on system failure option, and select it.

If your system has a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD), we need to know what the screen says:

Here's a BSOD example showing information you provide:

    http://TechRepublic.com.com/i/tr/downloads/images/bsod_a.jpg

Send for the nose and the Red arrows (3 to 4 lines total).

Send all * line STOP message since there are clues in the 4 parameters.

If it looks like there is some kind of name listed in the STOP message file, send this line also.

Ignore the boring text unless it seems important to you.  We know what a BSOD looks like, we need to know what your BSOD looks like.

Answering queries and results report of the disable automatic restart on system failure screen and you can decide what to do next.

See what the BSOD said would be interesting, but I would still recommend that you run chkdsk /r from the XP Recovery Console to make sure your file system is not damaged.

Answer the questions and we can see what to do next.

  • Cannot activate windows in safe mode, but blue schreens windows in Normal mode

I'm trying to reinstall Windows XP Home Edition on my Dell Inspiron 600 m laptop.  When he has finished with reinstall it it a blue screen when you try to start in windows Normal mode.  I found on the web that this problem has to do with hardware drivers and is resolved by installing service pack 1.  I can't install service pack 1 because when I start in safe mode and you click a user or administrator, it says this product must be enabled (which can be done in safe mode).  I'm stuck

How can I me is service pack 1 installed or this computer enabled if I can't start Normal or go beyond the notice of activation in safe mode?

Ok.  Here's what I had to do:

If you boot into safe mode (without network).  This would let me into safe mode without requiring activation immediately.  From there, I loaded service Pack2 of CD that allowed me to do the normal startup after that.

With network option was the hang up for me.  It would allow me to work in safe mode without immediately activating the software.

So I went to THIS problem.

Rami thank you for your help.

  • cannot access windows in safe mode because the keyboard is disabled until windows is loaded into the system

I installed a keyboard wrong driver and now my winxp support with virtually no feature mouse or the keyboard, both frozen. I can't even load windows in SafeMode to solve my problem of driver, because my keyboard lights up until windows is completely loaded into the system. And it was actually a plu problem that I don't take care off the coast in time... Now, I was struck with a bigger question. Any suggestions from anyone, I appreciate it, thanks.

I have windows xp pro sp3

Can enter you the BIOS setup? I remember that my system has recognized a key led even with disabled USB legacy support. Then you can activate the support legacy USB in the BIOS. In time, you have to press F8 for safe mode there is normally no active driver at all, everything is managed by the BIOS. Another possible solution would be using a PS/2 keyboard...

  • any programs, but google chrome opens. not even windows or antivirus programs. must force the restore windows or safe mode.

the title says most of it. I got a virus which, for some reason usually let me open all windows programs or all programs like antivirus things or anything that would be useful at all, but ideally he always allows me to get on google chrome. Ive been reading around to see what is my problem and I can say that I should be good if I can just force a restore or get my computer in SafeMode somehow, but even that does not work. When I restart my computer, even if I press f8 when it is placed in service or f12 at the logo screen to get restart options, it does nothing. I see a way to solve this problem, unless theres another way to get into safe mode or perhaps force a system restore sort.

    Hello

First of all, it is rare that system restore will fix a virus problem. You should focus on access to safe mode to resolve this problem.

Check if you need to hit a function key lock before the F key working in the mode you want. You can also try this, even if the bug can block: click Start and type msconfig, then the . Click on continue in the UAC prompt. Go to the Startup tab, select the line of safeboot and click apply/ok. It should encourage them to restart and will automatically load safe mode.

Once in safe mode, you will want to run full system scans with your favorite antivirus and antispyware software. You can also use malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org) as a method to remove bugs.

  • How to not show the windows in safe mode (pop-up), start in safe mode

    Firefox Safe mode

Safe Mode is a special mode of Firefox that can be used to troubleshoot issues.
Your add-ons and custom settings will be temporarily disabled. You can also Reset Firefox if you want to start fresh.
Start in Safe Mode Reset Firefox

This window I want to cancel whenever I want to use the command line

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -safe-mode How to do it? Thanks

There is a pref extensions.enabledAddons you can find on the topic: config page.

One possibility would be to have two versions of a user.js file to initialize this pref with extensions installed and enabled and copy one you need by launching Firefox via a cmd file.
If you are that tight on memory, then you only need to run a version at the time.

It is Pref plugin.state to disable plugins in case you want to do the same, but plugins are used when you visit pages that use them and affecting all the plugins for "Ask to activate" should suffice.
