Blocking of blue screen with the analog voltage (WinXP, PCI-6251)

Hello

I'm looking to solve a problem of blue screen with my measure blocking
application, which I am developing with C++. Blocking seems manifest
a little random after a variable amount (500-50 000) of voltage analog
measures. My application needs to make a huge amount of these digitally
trigger voltage measures after a certain period of time, and I'm using a
unique
task to do. The task is stopped and started after a single measure
is
which is done around 10 000 - 100 000 times per second. For this
because I do synchronized with the PCI-6251 map data acquisition and
one
Ztec oscilloscope card. It seems that the probability of blocking could be
associated with
the frequency of measurements of voltage that I perform.

The
the app itself is multithreaded, but I'm blocking concurrent access
TO
the card with lock - all access to the card are behind a single mutex

lock, so simultaneous access is blocked. In any case, all data acquisition
access
o the map is initially a single thread, which is dedicated to the acquisition of data
operations.

I also did stress tests with Ztec scope map, which does not
result
in all the problems. I also disabled in order of acquisition of Ztec map data
TO
Make sure that it wasn't the card scope, the origin of the problems - the problem
persistent, so this seems to point towards the direction of the nidaq map.

The deadlock appeared when I used the original supplied with drivers
the
card. I installed the latest drivers (removed the device from)
' Windows
Device Manager and your application Measurement & Automation, reinstalled), but the blue screen still appears.

Blue screen gives me a few debug data, but it does not mention any

files .dll or something that would be of course point to a specific file (driver). I enclose at least partially matching code snippets.

Hello again! I've been in contact with a local support person, who suggested that I have use DAQmx_Val_FiniteSamps instead of DAQmx_Val_HWTimedSinglePoint. I don't have any other changes, but this (see below) and the problem disappeared, so this seems to be an acceptable solution, because I don't see at all why not do this way. (Thanks Henry!)

DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming (task_reader, NULL, 100000.0, DAQmx_Val_Rising, DAQmx_Val_HWTimedSinglePoint, 1));
DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming (task_reader, NULL, 100000.0, DAQmx_Val_Rising, DAQmx_Val_FiniteSamps, 2));

To do this, follow these steps:

    1. Insert the Windows XP CD in the CD-ROM or DVD - ROM drive, and then restart the computer. Select the required options to start the computer from the CD-ROM or DVD - ROM drive if you are prompted to do so.

  • Blue screen with the error "irql_not_less_or_equal"

I have a problem I can not correct and hoped someone could help me fix.

I got a blue screen while I was working on my laptop. I restarted windows and once connected, the office appeared and everything seemed ok, but before I could do anything that I got another blue screen with the error "irql_not_less_or_equal" So now, I have only access in safe mode.

I tried to restore the system to a previous point, but the same error occurred during windows startup.

Then I made a backup of my files and tried to use the disk to reboot, but again, I got a blue screen (I don't remember the excact error) after the first loading bar, so noting changed.

Then I looked at the log files and found that, just before the first crash, an adobe update has been installed. I removed adobe list startup failed, completely remove the adobe doesn't either.

Also, in safe mode I don't have an internet connection (without wire or cable). Blue screen errors is not always the same, esspesially codes "stop".

My knowledge of windows is very bad, so I just tried things people recommended on internet. If someone could help me would be great. I deleted all my important files from my laptop so I don't mind lossing just as long as windows functiones correctly again.

    Thank you

Sorry, but there are way too many mistakes even describe.  You have about 5000 errors of Avast.  I would like to delete it

The error you mentioned does not match the description of the usual Windows blue screen errors. When I put this error for a web-search, it has proved to be a common problem with some HP computers. I was able to get my hands on the following link for a thread in HP communities that contains information about this error. Have a read of the content in this link and see if this applies to your situation:

    http://h30499.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-HP-ProBook-EliteBook/HP-6730b-quot-BIOS-application-error-501-quot/TD-p/1075640

Windows errors blue screen looks something like this. If you receive these errors, let us know about it as well as the complete info you see on the screen. And the error you mentioned in your initial post, I guess that the HP support forums would be a better place to discuss. Here is the link to the HP support forums:

  • I get the blue screen with the exception of system Service in Windows 8. It seems that many people have of it.

I get the blue screen with the exception of system Service in Windows 8.  It seems that many people have of it.  I can't use my computer without losing all the data every few minutes.  It is brand new.  Fix?  It often happens with Firefox, but other times too and restarts sometimes when you type an e-mail in the e-mail of Windows 8 program.

For this recent System_Service_Exception error, if you have an AMD graphics card try the next tool from AMD to try to get the latest graphics driver:

    http://support.AMD.com/us/gpudownload/Windows/pages/auto_detect.aspx

According to me, a recent update of Windows, maybe the 2778344 which updates win32k.sys to the 6.2.9200.16503 version, could cause a conflict with the AMD graphics driver.

Many users report the same error recently and so far have all AMD/ATI graphics cards.

If all goes well the graphic driver update will help.

If the problem persists, consider uninstalling 2778344.

Then, at the moment, 'hide' 2778344.

I don't have a recovery disc for this computer.  I tried to order them, but they seem to not be available.  It is my daughter's computer.  She said she started having problems after you download Frost Wire (music sharing), and then she took.  We tried to go back to a bygone era and that did not help and then the blue screen with error message appeared. What should I do now?

    Hi Yprlvr

It is not possible to download records from the web site, but you can order and they will send you the discs for you.  If you can get another option using F11 to work and get the restored system this way, you can make your own recovery disks (assuming that you have not already done on this PC, what a game can be made by PC).

I have a desktop computer Pavilion 500-330 Windows 8.1 running on a 64-bit system. The problem is after the start, a blue screen with a cursor appears, and the computer does not go to the lock screen.  I did restore, get updates and even left the only blue screen, but after many hours, he was always there.  If I do a force re-booting, the lock screen comes, but not always immediately.  There is no problem to wake up when it is in "standby".

    Hello again @padway,

Actually, if you already did a cover of the plant on your computer the problem you describe seems to be a physical problem. Please contact our technical support at the 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number. http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html. As a recovery plant excludes any kind of software problem this is your best course at this time. A technician from the local computer or a computer repair shop may be an option if you are not in the warranty as well.

I want to thank you for display on the HP Forums. Have a great day!

Hi, I installed a Windows update when my computer froze, so I turned it off and back on, now I can't even boot to the installtion disk supplied with the computer. When I hit F8 reapeatedly and select one of the available options, the computer contiually restarts and will not even go into safe mode. I tried hitting ctrl-alt-del, which brings me just for the system configuration menu. • Blue screen with the installation of new windows on that already pre-installed

Hello everyone, I'm sorry if this has already been addressed, and I wonder about the same thing. I found a few messages about my problem, but it did not totally help, so...

I bought an M70 in Germany, he has Win XP it already installed, but I wanted to install my Windows with a different language. When I start the computer from the disk, there are first this blue screen saying that it is responsible for many drivers, etc.. Then, it suddenly stops when he finished to load all the stuff. There is only a cursor in the top left corner (the one in DOS mode) and nothing happens. What could be a problem?

Is there some kind of blockade on the hard drive that prevent me from formatting the partition and install another system? My windows doesn't include SP2 on cd, usually I install it later.

I saw at least a similar post, someone suggested to download on the site section to find information of navigation, but I failed in doing that. Can someone help me? I would be extremely grateful for any information!

    Mike

    Hello Mike

I put t really know if included SP2 has something to do with it, but the fact is that the unit is pre-installed with Windows XP Home edition which include SP2. I think that once I read that a guy has to try something similar and included SP2 installation successfully.

If you can get a CD of Windows XP SP2 home edition installations (any language just to test) Please try to be sure if the problem is occurring because of this. Also, make sure that there is no external device is connected so that the facilities of the process runs.

    Bye and good luck!

Can someone tell me what is the problem?

  • Satellite L20 error: DVD - RAM crashes with a blue screen with the use of cd-audio

    Hello world

I have a very annoying problem: when I use audio-cd, my Satellite tends to crash with a blue screen. When it crashes, blue screen, scrolls and immediately a black screen and a restart follows.

It is probably a driver problem, because I have three audioprograms installed (Windows Media player, Sonic Stage MiniDisc and I-tunes).

Can someone give me advice? Thanks in advance

    Klaas

    Hi Klaas,

It would be useful to know what the error message is when you get the blue screen. I suggest that you disable the restart automatic installation so that your laptop stops on the blue screen and you can read the error.

To disable the auto restart: -.

    1. right click on 'My computer' icon and then click on "Properties".
    2. click on the "Advanced" tab
    3. click on 'Settings' in the section starting and recovering (towards the bottom of the window).
    4 uncheck 'automatically restart '.

Please post again all the details of the blue screen error message.

  • Windows Vista-used to get the blue screen with the error on it. Re-installed Vista and the programs one by one w/restorations. Now, I get the blank screen minidump file blue w/error after reboot and...

I find the minidump files and tried opening them and could not. Files and downloaded programs of debugging appear in the program. When I try to open them I get "you must be an administrator to open" insofar as I know that I am the administrator because supposedly everything I need is another administrator account. Also my restore will pass in a few days, and the box is no longer available. Also had an error on my printer files so I removed them, but as I (after) that I pressed the firm PC, the blue screen appeared and had to turn it off manually and of course got the minidump error message when I started again. If at this point, I'm still waiting to see if deleting the files printer helped. Any information would be appreciated.

OK, I'll look for your next post with minidump files.
