blocks of potential

wanted to know something about the calculation of the potential block to know how many potential blocks created
I know that sparse = * sparse

the thing here is the members stored * total members

  • The script "SET CREATEBLOCKSONEQ ON" don't not creating blocks

    Hello

    We used the script "SET CREATEBLOCKSONEQ ON" in a business rule, but new blocks are not created.

    Anyone can guide us in this regard?

    Thank you.

    You can correct IMGs who have 900 and 1500 members and create blocks for them based on another dimension ex:
    We have more sparse dims: entity 1000, 1000 products, 5 years, 5 Sen, Version 5 and now you want to create block for entities and products for FY11, Budget, Version1 then

    DIFFICULTY (@RLEATIVE ('entity', 0), @RELATIVE ("products", 0), Fy11, Budget)

    Version1 is Vesrion1 + 0.;

    ENDFIX;

    This will create all the block for you; It is once again a problem all the blocks of potential will be packed you can restrict the same in condition to create blocks and this condition will be dependent on the logic for ex: If the profit is > 0 then create block

    DIFFICULTY (@RLEATIVE ('entity', 0), @RELATIVE ("products", 0), Fy11, Budget)
    Veresion1
    (
    IF ("NetProfit" > 0) / * this logic may vary according to your requirement * /.
    Version1 is Vesrion1 + 0.;
    ENDif;
    )

    ENDFIX;

    Or if you have connected this BR to a web form and that you have selected use member on the data form you can use SPTR to create blocks. The room no. above may use RTP for members to make it more useful.

  • If I install 9 Workstation on a host W7U 64-bit... (Solved)

    And install VMware Workstation 9 on my E:\ By car (apps), I lose access to the workstation help documentation?

    When I installed VMware Player 5 on my E:\ By car (apps), I did.  Help button did nothing when I clicked it.  No documentation of aid and no error message. Helped my friend, Player 5 button works but the product has installed in its default location on the C:\ drive.

    I think try Workstation 9 (trial version) because she seems to have several disk management tools than Player 5 does.  And if all goes well, the Player 5 9 Workstation will work better than the stand-alone version.

    Can someone confirm that Workstation 9 works correctly when installed in places that are not on its default C:\ drive?

    Thank you...

    Jack

    P.S. I find myself being one of these people who believes that the OS volume/partition/disk should contain only the operating system and drivers.  It takes work to remove most of the crap of MS (Code released as Production) of my Windows folder, but my OS works better, a little faster and rarely (if ever) BSOD.

    OTOH, every now and then I find a software that does not know how to install correctly when installed at any place other than its default value.  I think VMware Player 5 is one of those products.  So rather than the stroke of face or curse, I'll use the publicly accepted euphemism, "How primitive!" and let him go to that...

    Solution: It turns out that the culprit was NOT a Player 5 but an add-on Firefox named «Ad-Block 2.1.2»  The latter blocked as potential VMware help screens 'malware '.  Solve you the problem in if the option 'allow non intrusive advertisements' is enabled.  It is under the Preferences of the filter button.

    And thank you to everyone for their help... I was looking for this disk manager program, continuum.  Looks like I'll be forced to purchase workstation because Player 5 has not.  Naturally, this does not encourage me to buy more VMware products.

    > And if all goes well, the Player 5 9 Workstation will work better than the stand-alone version.

    I doubt so - Workstation and VMplayer are the same product.
    With all of the files, it was released as workstation - with a subset of the same files, it is released under VMplayer.

    All the files that have been selected for the release of VMplayer is debatable – IMHO vmware - vdiskmanager.exe and vmnetcfg.exe are a must have and should also be included in VMplayer.
    That would also prevent the user from running Workstation without license as VMplayer pro

    > Can anyone confirm that Workstation 9 works correctly when installed in places that are not on its default C:\ drive? »

    Yes - I often install paths like R:\vm\vmware and my Windows LiveCD running in workstation to use paths like that.

    So far I have seen no problems with that. Only problem is the USB stuff because it goes into "common program files" without offering a choice.
    If you want to change that - prepare for manual labor...

    For the question of aid... inside the installation dir aid lies in a searchable collection of html files - to see - just doubleclick the file index.html

  • To defragment or not?

    We have a particular server that hosts several Synergex databases.  There are also a number of flat type files that get deleted/copied/added every day.  According to Windows Server 2008 R2, the disk is highly fragmented.  This server exists on the network SAN Equallogic PS6000XV.  It is part of the RAID 50, where it has its own dedicated volume.  The VMDK is thick-set service.

    When he was a physical server and the data was hosted on Server 2003 with a local RAID-5, we had installed Diskeeper and could run a defrag every week.  It would be a good idea now?  Looking through the forums, I've seen arguments in two ways.  Most are quite dated, so I wondered what was the current consensus.  I see three ways to accomplish this:

    1 defragment the SAN, which is even possible?  Does anyone know if Equallogic has a tool for that?

    2 defragment the VMDK?  Again, it is like Voodoo?

    3 defragmentation of the file system in the VMDK - using tools like Diskeeper disk or something?

    or

    4. just leave well enough alone, because Windows doesn't know what he's talking about.

    When he was physical, we saw significant performance increases after the first defragmentation.  In both cases, it works a lot better in a virtual environment with fewer resources than what he has done as a physical server.  Virtual stuff never ceases to amaze me.

    We have a particular server that hosts several Synergex databases... This server exists on an Equallogic PS6000XV... part of RAID 50, where it has its own dedicated volume.  The VMDK is thick-set service.

    The expected outcome of defragmentation, it's what to consider - as André, there is no certainty about what made the EqualLogic with blocks and in any case, even if there was, because the volume is spread over 14 pin, what exactly is sequential access even when?  The EqualLogic provides storage for something else?  Databases the most tend to show a random IO load because they meet (and scattered) data tables so how it is organized physically just not important really.
    Positioning system EqualLogic data is skilled enough - for example, if in the future an SSD array had to be added, the system could migrate hot blocks in this table.
    Replication is also extremely important.  IIRC, EqualLogic use the block of tracking changes with a block size of 64 MB.  So at the end of the replication interval, all 64 MB blocks that have been affected by a write will be transmitted over the Wan - clearly defrag will touch a massive number of blocks and potentially make this impractical.
    There are also a number of flat type files that get deleted/copied/added every day.
    In the same sense, it may be necessary to consider.  For example, you might consider such temporary space running in folders with NTFS compression enabled. If these are text files that can be very effective to reduce the disk space required (and therefore the number of blocks received for WAN replication).   Another option would be to run these from the temporary space provided by a server of files on a volume that is not replicated.
    Hope that helps!

  • REQUEST FOR PLANNING OF EMP - NUMBER POTENTIAL FOR HUGE BLOCKS

    Hello world

    I'm having a very hard time understanding the potential number of blocks, we have an application created with active CAPEX, here are the dimension planning, all are sparse dimensions, only account and time dimensions are dense:

    Dimensions: members stored

    Account 132

    Period                                  14

    Cost center 210

    year                                     17

    Details of the assets 2576

    Entity                                   30

    410 asset class

    Currency 3

    Scenario 7

    Version                                5

    HSP_Rates 6

    In order to get the size of the block, I calculate the two dense dimensions which is on about: 14784 bytes

    In order to calculate the number of blocks that can I have to multiply scattered sizes stored (210 * 17 * 2576 * 30 * 410 * 3 * 7 * 5 * 6) = 71262283680000-> if I see it in the statistics of the easconsole show me tab a different value of 127640304247680 this value is greater then from above (no idea)

    the potential blocks are huge, and I don't know if there is a problem with the design because if you turn on capex and then add class and the details of the assets and imagine that a society is to have 10000 assets when that happens? can someone please guide me if we have forgotten something maybe we don't him have not properly configured OR it's just the number and we can ignore it (I've already raised this with the support of the Oracle)

    I hope that it is EMP gurus out there who can address this issue...

    Thank you

    Concerning

    Shahrukh

    This is the number of blocks, it does not mean that you will load data from all potential blocks.

    This is a guideline and the rest fell to application design.

  • My button to link to external site is blocked by flash player as potentially dangerous

    Hello

    I set up a simple website flash with buttons etc.

    3 buttons are supposed to post a link to external sites

    but when I download the flash on my web servers and

    test adobe flash player blocks links:

    "Adobe Flash Player has stopped a potentially dangerous operation"

    How to bypass this?

    < < code > >

    Stop();
    import flash.events.MouseEvent;
    var getfacebook:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http://www.facebook.com");
    var getweather:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http://weather.news24.com");
    var getmap:URLRequest = new URLRequest ("http://www.maps.google.com");

    Facebook button-------.

    facebook_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, facebookClick);

    function facebookClick(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    navigateToURL (getfacebook);
    }

    -Weather button-------.

    weather_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, weatherClick);

    function weatherClick(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    navigateToURL (getweather);
    }

    -Card button-------.

    map_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, mapClick);

    function mapClick(event:MouseEvent):void {}
    navigateToURL (getmap);
    }

    This code in itself should not be a problem.  Normally, this type of message appears when the player is involving files that are stored locally on your computer.  Make sure that you do not refer to local files for what you place on the web server.  Here is a link that might help (or not)...

  • AVG2015 keeps blocking the file prefs.js because of "potentially be OSX/tap.

    Well, you saw the title.

    Simply, this started happening yesterday evening and I don't know why because it's never happened before. I'm sure this is a false positive, but I do not know how AVG who know.

    The prefs.js file is located in the "AppData/Roaming.

    When AVG blocks the file, it also auto generation of the other prevents it. I have to restart my computer for FireFox generate another prefs.js... which then gets blocked for the same reasons again.

    I don't know what to do at this point.

    I know that uninstalling and reinstalling FireFox are my last resort I have 7 years I don't want to lose data.

    Right now, I have FireFox in safe mode and still work as I left it (same bookmarks, same saved passwords, cookies do not affected, etc.). I can not just save preferences.

    I hope it's just one of those random adjustments that AVG has. Otherwise, this foreshadows a more serious problem and I hope really is not the case.

    Sorry for the delay. While it's important, I had other things to do.

    Well, it seems that it was a false positive. After a sweep of Advance SystemCare and a reboot, AVG simply ceased to block.

    I was about to publish a bunch of stuff that might help her figure this out, but now it's useless... However, after reviewing the history of detections of AVG, it turns out that this question of mine happened 2 months ago. I honestly forgot on this subject, and how I solved it, if I had nothing. I probably did the same thing I did to solve it.

    So, it was a case of AVG returning a false positive. I feel much better now...

    Sorry to waste your time.

    ADDENDUM: I don't know whether to mark it as resolved. For now, I'll leave it as is, if it's OK.

  • How to replace Windows 7 blocks potentially dangerous zip files

    I have a zip file which has nbeen fdownloaded having won 7 will not let me open. How to replace thiis?

    I tried to copy the file to a different drive-memory stick and cd, but windows won't let me do it anymore.

    Help please

    Hello

    Download the file on the Office, click on the zip file and select Properties.

    On the general tab, look at the bottom of the dialog box to a button .

    Let us know the results.

    Concerning

  • When I was on Soundcloud, it says Firefox he blocked the dangerous Adobe Flash

    When I was on Soundcloud, Firefox said it had blocked Adobe Flash because it is "potentially dangerous." I don't know how he thought it was dangerous.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. If you are not accustomed to using the "Request to activate" feature a plugin, here's what to expect:

    When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification in the address bar icon and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an information bar slides between the toolbar and in the page area.

    If you see a good reason to use Flash, and the site looks trustworthy, you can go ahead and click on the Lego-like icon in the address bar to allow Flash.

    But the page might be using Flash only followed or playing a video ad. If you do not see an immediate need for Flash, feel free to ignore the notification, it will just sit there in case you want later.

  • When Firefox is running, IP addresses much appear in the resource monitor to the Win7 taskbar including 93.184.215.73 - that could be malicious. How can I block it?

    I noticed a slowdown sometimes in Firefox - checked the Windows 7 Task Manager resource monitor and found a lot of IP addresses - if open only one window of Firefox. So I checked their - most looks legit, but this one certainly has a bad reputation of computer forums: 93.184.215.73. What I want to know is one) how he block in Firefox? It is easy in Internet Explorer. You block just under the protection of personal information and security tabs. (b) why Firefox even running this?
    Thank you.
    M in Oakland

    Moreover, all that promises a free video download or conversion is potentially suspect in my book. As another experiment, you can disable these extensions for a day and see how that affects your traffic. You can do this on the page modules. Either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

    In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.

    Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

    Note the differences?

  • -Pop-up Blocker exceptions list is not save

    When I close firefox and open it again its list is empty.

    I have marked as Don't warn me when a site tries to redirect and I have turned off modules, but always when I reopen the firefox list is empty.

    I tried manually add to the list, and then the menu drop down allow this site this option which is at the top of the page which is still blocked.

    I can find other problems, but they do not lose the list when firefox stops.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    This file has not updated since Jan. 19. So I did everything anyway and nothing has changed, and the file size has remained constant.

    What will happen if I delete it?

    Firefox you have to build the database from scratch. In other words, it lose track of all previous site specific exceptions and use only the default settings (for example, addons.mozilla.org can install add-ons).

    If in doubt, you can simply rename it (e.g., permissions.old) or drag it to another folder for restoration potential later.
