Blue login screen / Skype empty
Hello
I've updated my Skype today and now the login screen is just blue and empty. I can't type my user name or anything else. I've seen a lot of posts with people having the same problem, but the solution did not help for me so far. I have Windows 7 64 bit, internet explore 10 (I've removed the 11 update) and the latest version of Skype. I tried to update IE 11 mannualy but it did not work (got an error).
I have attached my msinfo32 zip file perhaps it helps.
I hope someone can help me.
This means that JavaScript is not enabled in your Internet Explorer.
Without your Internet Explorer is the ability to run JavaScript, there is no way for Skype create login screen, short using the workaround solution 'legacylogin '.
Scripting in Internet Explorer might has been disabled by Antivirus software. It seems you have installed McAfee.
Try to uninstall this software.

Restart your computer and try again to test if JavaScript works in your Internet Explorer.

Not enough information. See: How to get answers from the forum
Should include information on the middle tier you use (OHS/EPG/ADR) as the white page is related to the web server is not properly pages / content or content of pages / are missing in the expected location.
This problem is mainly related to the incorrect loading of the images to the web server.
Given that you use EPG (Embedded PL/SQL Gateway).
It is a wire recent similar problem to which I answered in detail:
blank page after you successfully install apex 4.2.6 4.2.0
This thread, I explained to upgrade, that applies also to the installation.
Specifically, the path you give during the loading of images for the sql scripts apex_epg_config.sql/apxldimg.sql is incorrect when you use the EPG.
I hope this helps!

For BT mail login screen is empty since yesterday.
For these last two days the homescreen e-mail https://signin1.bt.com/login/emailloginform ha BT appeared under vacuum. It was much earlier. The screen works fine in Internet Explorer 11 so doesn't seem to be specific to the Web site.
I tried to remove and to reinstall Firefox and have run the Sophos virus checker; I also BT Netprotect running which is changed to McAfee, so in theory have no viruses.
The login screen is supposed to go to a mail electronic screen https://uk-mg-bt.mail.yahoo.com/neo/launch?.partner=bt-1 & .rand =[probably a key]
pterre,
I can't reproduce this because, well, I don't have access to this page. Have you tried to delete your cookies from this site?
- Go to Firefox > Options > privacy > delete individual cookies

In addition, you can clear your cache.

421SO HP G61: stuck at the blue login screen
Hello.
I have a problem with my laptop, a model of 421SO G61, and the question is showed in a Youtube video.
Link: https://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=Y7FIDt9SonQ
The problem occurred after that I left my cousin played the Sims 4. She said that after she closed the Sims 4, a window appears and it has clicked away and stop the laptop. The next day I started it and it got stuck on the screen that is shown in the video. She unfortunately can't remember what has shown the window pop up.
I tried to reset hard, leaving the rest of the laptop computer for 24 hours to reset the BIOS settings and to test (who first succeeded and only shows not all errors) and leave it on for 1 hour + to try to let it load.
I have a theory that the hard drive is ruin or the operating system does not sort properly load.
As I can't access the hard drive and the data in it, how this issue can be fixed without losing all the data important and meaningful; for example images?
Thank you!

Cannot focus Skype name and password in the login screen
I use Skype for a long time now and used the automatic connection whenever I start my computer. Today, I accidentally disconnected from Skype. Now, I can focus my Skype name and password in the login screen. I'm having the same problem with fields in Internet Explorer 11. Does anyone know a solution to this problem? I use Windows 7 Professional.
For me, that did the trick.

Skype is stuck on the login screen. E52
Hello
For a few months now Skype stops just to the login screen. After I touch my user & pass, I hit connect and that's all. It remains there forever.
I tried this on Wifi and 3g...
He used to work before... doesn't bother searching for an answer of all these months because I had no need of Skype. And now I * really * need to use Skype on the move.
I reinstalled the firmware of Nokia, no go.
Help, please!
It works now!
I created a new Skype account with the app and it connected! Wow.
Then I disconnected & reconnected since my old Id and it works now as well.
Spoiler (Highlight to read): manvery-happy: -
I can't launch the Skype app on my new windows laptop 8. I get a blue white screen.
I tried to uninstall/reinstall and it worked once and now does not work again (blue white screen lanch app).
I installed norton antivirus, but Skype has worked once when it was installed, I don't know what has changed now.
Help, please!
Also I'm not a computer expert so step by step instructions for a resolution are necessary :-)

Blue screen in Vista 7 just after the login screen
We get a blue error screen 7th on Vista 64-bit SP1 right after the login screen appears. The blue screen immediately goes, and system restarts (or sometimes just hangs). I was not able to find the codes of the 7th in the research:
(took a picture of the screen...)
STOP: 0x0000007E (oxFFFFFFFFC0000005, 0xFFFFF80002325C87, 0xFFFFFA60165BE3E8, 0xFFFFFA60165BDDC0)
I am able to boot in safe mode. Do you have a chkdsk C: /F and which did not help. Do you have a repair system using the Vista startup disk and that did not help. Went to safe mode and MSCONFIG and position the clean boot and that did not help. I tried to update to SP2 and unable to complete safe mode.
The ideas and the sage advice would be greatly appreciated.

We seem to be affected by intermittent empty login screen on my company's website, but only for the microsoft login page, the login page Skype charges well.
Loading Skype upward, you get this screen:
And users choose 'Microsoft account '. They should then see this screen:
Instead they get this:
Inside, there is a warning message stating the following:
"This page contains errors. Go back'
The site uses OpenDNS to filter queries DNS for computers and politics is quite locked.
On any affected PC, if:
-Close Skype
-Run the DNS settings to something like 8.8.8.8 (google DNS server)
-Load Skype
The login screen (image 2) loads normally. The user can connect and I can then folding the DNS settings on the OpenDNS server and there is no other problem.
Which means that Skype is trying to communicate with a Microsoft/Skype server somewhere on the interent and because it is not on my whitelist OpenDNS it gets blocked and it fails as in Fig. 3.
My question can someone tell me what is the server? I went through the OpenDNS logs and the white list a bunch of stuff from microsoft and other things related to the certificates, but still no luck.
Evetually I took the suggestion of Techfreak and sniffed packets with wireshark. Was annoyed to discover that the root cause of the problem is strangely named sb.symcd.com.
Some quick Google-fu led me to a page that said that this area should be on a whitelist for Lync facilities. Hmm.
Why microsoft couldn't use Server intuitive/descriptive names more is a mystery. In any case, I have whitelisted *. symcd.com and of the limited testing it seems to be resolved.

gmail login screen is wrong and does not accept my password. URL is just. Help!
I'm on an iMac, OS 10.9.5, Firefox 37.0.2. When I either (1) click on the link of the site Google gmail or (2) enter the url for gmail, I get a login screen that demand only my username and then allows me by clicking next. In the next screen, asked me my password. When I enter my password, the screen refreshes, but presents the same screen once again with empty fields. This is not the case if I use Safari. Everything looks / acts directly in Safari. I almost never use Safari, please do not start!
Well, it took some time and a ton of detective, but the problem is solved. You were good cor - el, running the safe mode it does work right. Then I just disabled all extensions and add them one at a time until one of them broke it again. The culprit is looking to disconnect. I even deleted and downloaded again hoping that there is a version mismatch, but no go. GRRRRRRRR. I'm going to their message and let them know what happened.

HP Elitebook 850 G1: Weird preliminary login screen appeared
Hello out there!
I have 2 questions (perhaps related):
#1) probably by the fault of myself, a new preliminary login screen annoying has been activated (see photo below - the screen is white with the blue HP logo at the top on the right and on the left connection options). I would like to remove this screen; I restarted my computer several times and I can't shake it.
(#2) this preliminary screen offers two options for connection (password and fingerprints) and even if I deleted the biometrics of the laptop (I think successfully), this screen still allows me to connect with my fingerprint... AND a picture of my black and white fingerprint appears in the center of the screen, as it is checked.
I really want to eliminate this preliminary form and return with just the single Windows login screen.
Is there someone out there who can offer advice? I would be very happy. Thank you!!! Jenny
Hello
Thanks for posting in the HP Support forum. Welcome!
This screen is called authentication of pre-launch - its purpose is to provide additional security before loading your operating system. It usually comes with the encryption drive, but not necessary.
Disk encryption is a technology that protects information by converting it to an unreadable code that cannot easily be deciphered by unauthorized persons. Encryption of disk uses software encryption of disk or hardware to encrypt every bit of data that are placed on a disk or a disk volume (Soruce: WikiPedia). Disk/Disk encryption can protection your information if your computer is stolen or if a person not authorized are nearby and want to read your data.
All part of the software for computers in business manager called HP customer and/or HP Drive Encryption (both free) security.
