Blue screen, cannot run Windows Update

I was browsing Reddit when all of a sudden my laptop decided NOPE and closes everything down to make an update. It was 03:00 so I wasn't thinking straight and closed on the rise and went to bed. The next day, while in the class my phone showed me a blue screen with some writing for everything... long enough not to read what was then asked if I wanted to start in different security modes. I thought that this could be because I interrupted an update and I tried to run Windows Update, but it will still not open.   I can't access anything whatever, and I have a paper in four days... Help, please!

We need the DMP file because it contains the single record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.

WE NEED AT LEAST TWO FILES DMP TO SPOT TRENDS AND TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS.

If you're overclocking (pushing components beyond their design) return you to default at least until the crash is resolved. If you don't know what it is that you're probably not overclocking.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting in SafeMode (F8) with networking.
If you are overclocking stop.  (chances are that if you are unsure if you are, you are not)

To run MSinfo32 please go to start > run > MSinfo32
Go to 'file', 'save' and download the PDF is saved with the DMP
System specs are extremely useful then please include everything you know.

Blue screen view and that crashed are often wrong and should only be used in case of emergency...

I had some problems with my computer Windows Vista - Business Office.  Here are the ones I've noticed so far.

    1. I can't run windows update, I get error code 80072efe when I try.

    2. I get continuous popups.  Not all the time and not every time I have a Web browser open.  Sometimes my browser will open only to Web sites at random, for most of the sites trying to sell me something.  I've just close it before it ends even loading and it will be generally fine for awhile.

  • Cannot run Windows Update. Keeps saying to re-record the files but nothing helped.

Funny but I seem to just receive this error message when I run windowsupdate.com

"Files required to use Windows Update are longer registered or installed on your computer. To continue:

Click option 1: register or reinstall the files for me now (recommended)
Click on option 2: Let me read on other measures that may be required to solve the problem. »

By clicking on option 1 sets as it is something useful, then goes back to the screen Windows Update offering Express (recommended) or custom. Whichever you choose, it sends you back to:
"Files required to use Windows Update are longer registered or installed on your computer. "To continue:

By clicking on the option 2 doesn't send you a place that helps you solve the problem, it sends you to a screen where you can "SEARCH FOR YOURSELF" from scratch!

I tried a few solutions as re-register DLL files, but not to prevail. It has not changed.

I tried force windows update agent installation, but nothing works. It's really frustrating.

  • Blue screen - cannot access windows

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 notebook with an Intel i-72670QM @2. 20 MHz processor.  The version of the BIOS F.1B by seller Insydle. It is currently running Windows 7 (well it can run Windows 7).

The following error occurs: Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. Weather I run Safe Mode or network mode I get the following technical error on a blue screen:

    STOPx000000IE/OXFFFFFFFFC0000005, OXFFFFFA80092B2B2330, OX0000000000000000. OX000007FFFFFA1000)

The primary hard disk Self Test I ran long and short. No problem. Memory test passed. I realize that this has been addressed many times but I don't know what would be my next step. I have to get this laptop to factory-installed? If so, I need to be walked through this process.

Again, I apologize if this is redundant, but not so sure of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As it is now, the laptop is unable to serve.

    Thank you.

You can access the BIOS settings by pressing the ESC key as soon as you turn on the laptop. You want to press the ESC key about 1 time per second.

This will bring you in the Start Menu above where you should see the option to enter the BIOS by pressing F10

Once there, you want to press F9 to restore default

    Click Yes to confirm

Press F10 to save and exit

    Then click Yes to confirm

If that doesn't work you should do a system restore through recovery Manager (F11 on the Start Menu to the top)

After you have installed Windows updates waiting on the computer earlier this week, we were not able to get the computer working again.  We were asked to back up and restore the factory settings, which we did.  It instructions update you Windows. When we download the updates it crashes again.  Does anyone know if there is a problem with one of the recent updates that we should avoid so that we our computer working again?

    Hello

Since you are quite sure this is an update to the source of the problem I want to troubleshoot using this method.

Control Panel - Windows Updates - upper left settings - set to download but allow you to install them.
To operate the system and see if there are problems.

If no problem try to apply updates in small groups or even one at a time, depending on how
There are many. Beware especially of driver updates that may be older that you have or
    those even incorrect.

Vista Home Premium, SP1, 32-bit, Internet Explorer 7.0.6001.18000.

It is a Toshiba laptop of 2-3 years I'm trying to reinstall for someone. The original drive died & was replaced. The recovery CD were never done, so the factory records were sent from Toshiba. I tried to reinstall a couple of times now - the same thing every time. I have installed/reinstalled systems for more than ten years now - and this is the first time that I ran across something like this RE: updates. Always ends in error A 8024, 000.

I followed some of the ideas I've seen online, including: rename the folder C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution, running orders to cut services, run a batch file, and then restart the services (those here who have encountered this probably know the fix, I mean), I tried to install the most recent Windows (could not install error 0x8000ffff) Update Agent tried to install the full SP2 that is downloaded on the desktop - go. I checked the internet time was set & work (it is).

It is a completely new installation of Vista. The machine has no antivirus by default - contradictory antivirus program is not a source of distress. Similarly, the first place, I tried to log in after this initial installation is therefore highly unlikely that I got a virus by going directly to MS, out of the box, so to speak, WU...
