blue screen caused by driver ntoskrnl.exe
original title: BSOD caused by driver ntoskrnl.exe
I received several BSOD for some time now, usually 1 day a week, I'll take 4-5 in a row. They always come when I'm starting, often after installing something (a different application each time). Uninstalling these does not help. It never happened when already in a windows session. I have updated all drivers listed on the HP (model 8540p) website. Here is an example of a landfill; Each dump is the same with exception to Param 4 (and, of course, the time and filename)
Bug Check String | Bug check code | Param 1 | Param 2 | Param 3 | Parameter 4 | Caused by the driver | Caused by address |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL | 0x0000000A | 0 | 2 | 0 | fffff800'032937 d 5 | Ntoskrnl.exe | Ntoskrnl.exe + 80640 |
The other 'setting 4"of are
fffff800'032877 d 5
fffff800'032df7d5
fffff800'0328e7d5
fffff800'0328a7d5
fffff800'0329c7d5
fffff800'032cd7d5
fffff800'032937 d 5
Edit: format for moving things to adapt to changes. Last digit of Param 1-3 are listed. Figures are all zeros.
.rar is fine.
With the Windows Debugger (WinDbg) the minidump files show the driver who caused the accident is the CipcCdp.sys:

original title: Blue error screen, accident of death caused by drivers: ntoskrnl.exe, Wdf01000.sys and tcpip.sys
I currently own an Aura of Alienware Dell, it's an amazing computer. The only problem is that I had a lot of problems, I was able to permanently fix all except this issue. I'll randomly crash blue screen, usually it doesn't happen often and it is normally not triggered by something specific, rarely it will crash at startup. I was able to download an application that can read the cache/dump blue screen crashes:
34 accidents
one was caused by Wdf01000.sys
three was a result of tcpip.sys
and all the rest of ntoskrnl.exe
I don't know what caused it, I've had this computer for about a year now and I've never had this problem before. I don't remember an update of the cause, or by downloading any strange apps, downloads or viruses. (I had wiped my computer about 3 months ago)
I don't know too much about software,
Any help is appreciated.
Hi bloo532,
1. what application did you use to read dump files?
2. did you of recent changes on the computer?
It resembles that of the driver on the computer is causing the blue screen.
Check if the problem persists in safe mode.
Start your computer in safe mode
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode
Restart the computer to return to normal mode
Also make sure that all drivers are up to date on the computer.
See the link below and try them the steps mentioned, check if it helps.

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/resolving-stop-blue-screen-errors-in-Windows-7
If the previous step fails, then you will need to provide the minidump files.
Use SkyDrive download collected files and after shot/screenshot.
I hope this helps!

Hello
I searched for a solution to a major problem, as we have seen with some Dell systems I work with.
three models who know that exact blue screen: Dell E6430, E7240, and E7440.
Every accident is due to random, indicating the following:
Bug Check String: CRITICAL_OBJECT_TERMINATION
Bug check code: 0x000000f4
P1: 0 X 00000003
(the others are always different)
Caused by the driver: ntkrnlpa.exe
Address: ntkrnlpa.exe + dedd8
32 bit OS/processor.
So far, we tried the following:
Update the BIOS of the systems to the latest versions.
Update the version of the driver from the hard drive from the site of the manufacturer (not one Samsungs)
Replace most of the internal parts (motherboard, RAM, CPU) with known work of Dell parts.
Recreate the image on the computer entirely. (re - install windows, but still receive the error re-)
In the end, we end up making a complete replacement of the HD.
We carried out Diagnostics using a few tools (SMART data reading using SpeedFan) and it is not to report all errors. We used the Dells built in the diagnosis on the RAM, hard drive and nothing seems made of any hardware failure during testing of large 4 hours.
I was wondering if someone had met these blue screens on other systems, and what other tools and resources, we could use to try and fix these without doing a complete system replacement.
The most recent crash in this issue is 29 October so it may not be the same as the current problem

The material is highly suspect!
Since you reformatted and reloaded Windows this indicates that the problem is either material or a
very basic pilot who has been reloaded - video/display, network/WiFi, sound, possibly 3rd party
mouse or keyboard, BIOS, chipset and other low level drivers. This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
spyware/security programs. When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.------------------------------------------------
Even if you have some of these here tried a fairly complete convenience store just in case.
BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E
Cause
SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.
Common exception codes are:
- 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.
For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in the directoryInc. of the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).
Solve the problem
If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Make sure you have enough disk space.
- If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
- Try changing video cards.
- Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
- Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.
If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.
If exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system was launched with the/nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly, make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with theSwitch/DEBUG .
In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.
If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:
- Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that any new hardware that is installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
- Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.
If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.
If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the service by starting the computer by using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.
Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x7E.
You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved.chk, which contain fragments of files on disk scans. You can also use an another hard disk drive with more free space for the installation. You can solve the problems of BIOS by upgrading the version of the system BIOS.

Cause
There are generally three different causes for this bug check:
A driver has deliberately or inadvertently modified kernel of criticism or data code. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) and later versions of Windows for computers x 64 do not allow the kernel to be debugged, except through authorized hot patches from Microsoft. For more information, see policy patch for x 64 systems.
A developer tried to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel debugger which was not attached when the system is started. Normal breakpoints (bp) can be defined only if the debugger is attached to the start time. Processor breakpoints (ba) can be defined at any time.
- A physical corruption has occurred. For example, the kernel code or data could are stored in memory has failed.

Computer gets blue screen every day "wl merger.exe.
Good day, IM having some problems with my toshiba satellite (15'6 A665-s5181 notebook pc intel core i5 - 480 m), the computer works pretty well, its when I stop working, blue screen appears and the computer stops its happens at least once a day, the computer does no harm at all to restart... when I check the CENTER of the ACTION to see what caused the screen blue its says failed to apply : WL merger.exe a work stoppage. Located in the file updatus NVIDIA.
HelpI suspect that the "Trojans" might partially explain the weird behavior. They can basically upload other stuff to your PC once they have smuggled themselves on it.
You download SP1 via Windows update? Have you tried to install it manually? See - http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/install-windows-7-service-pack-1 and the link "Download and installation of SP1 from the Microsoft Download Center" on this page. Who installs it OK?
I hope that the NVIDIA driver update will fix the problem that you were re
' merger.exe wl'
The result of the SFC is good news.
If you do not get an installation disc, its always a good idea to do a repair disc. Just in case where, it can be useful sometimes.
Update and run Malwarebytes again, to make sure that nothing has reappeared.
AND make sure your AV package (depending on what you are using) is up-to-date and run a scan with that.
Back up your data before any significant change just as a precaution to prevent you from losing everything you need, if things go wrong, as an accident during the SP1 update.
EDIT - 1. to cause such things - " Trojan.BHO, Trojan.agent, banker spyware," is perhaps a good idea to change a web site password you use esp for sites banking etc. It is difficult to say what these might be, but some of these types of attacks are designed to steal information and passwords and other.
2. make sure that your firewall works. Go to this site, click https://www.grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2 go ahead and run the tests - at least the good test ports. If your FW working ports must display them under
(not open or closed) and you should see a nice green SUCCESS. -

KB9711486 blue screen causing 0x0000007e
KB9711486 part of the recent automatic updates last Friday (10/16). XP SP3, INTEL processor. After the reboot, get a blue screen with the following error message when windows tries to start.
0x0000007E (0x805c49b8, 0xf7a602b4, 0 x 8000003, 0xf7a5ffb0). Also impossible to revert to last good configuration. Get the error "PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA). Requires external to go back to the last good configuration rescue disk. Given that Microsoft was pressed so many updates (hotfixes about 11 last Friday... and I run autmatic update), it took trial and error to find patch that was causing the problem. Ignoring this patch at the moment. Lost most of the weekend recovering in activity. Thank you very much.Incidentally, now that the PC is working again, getting another error during the operation:
DSCA.exe - routing of common language of the debugger service Process ID 0x8d4 Thread id (2260) = 0x8d8 (2264). Anyone idea what all this on and how do I get rid of him?I found this and it worked.
1 boot from your Windows XP or DVD CD and start the recovery console (see this Microsoft Help article at this stage)
2. type this command: CHDIR $NtUninstallKB971486$ \spuninst
3. type this command: BATCH spuninst.txt

It makes no difference, what version of Windows XP, you install, it will make no difference to his execution, or use. (with the exception of you want to join a domain)

My laptop recently, close and restart when I close. When I open it upwards to use it, I get a problem report that says... "A problem of wireless networking.
You have received this message because hardware or software on your computer Windows to close unexpectedly and restart caused. It is a serious problem, commonly called a stop error or blue screen.
Although the precise cause of this problem is not known, it seems to be related to the wireless network.
To try to resolve this problem, follow these steps. "One step could solve the problem, but if it isn't, then go to the next step.
I tried to do all the steps, that they suggested and none of them worked. My computer is more than 2 years old. It is a Dell Inspiron 1545.
When I look at the event viewer, it gives me this information;
Bucket 0x9F_3_IMAGE_athr.sys of error, type 0
Event name: BlueScreen
How can I solve this problem?Hello
References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.
Updated drivers, BIOS and software control (if any) is a good idea. This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - reset after each
installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.
Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.htmlIf you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
manually if you wish. How to disable automatic driver Installation in Windows Vista - drivers

Failure blue screen State Power Driver
I have an out of State driver blue screen open the Minidump file and the problem seems to be with netr7364.sys. Now what should I do to solve the problem? I did not any changes recently, so I don't know what could have caused the problem.
After uninstalling and restarting, the version of netr7364 is 4.00.00.0015.
I had not recorded the vwifibus.sys version, but now is 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713 - 1255).
The RaCoInst.dll driver is no longer listed.
And now, he will recognize that the wireless network settings match! It does not connect because it says that the password is incorrect, even if I am sure that it is in fact correct. But that's a separate issue. I think that would have solved my problem. After some time with blue screens is no longer, I'll be sure.
Thanks a lot for your help!

I get a blue screen caused by XDVAnnn.sys event
I play a game called fiesta online, two weeks ago, when I tried to log on to the game wouldn't load.
I rebooted the system, and as soon as the process has started I got a blue screen event and was forced to close.
When I restarted the computer (presario CQ60) a notification has been shown and I reported to microsoft by using the problems and solutions and told me that there is a solution, the exact message is "Malware alert: problem caused by XDVAnnn.sys could be malicious.
The solution was to scan a complete service in the center of windows onecare. The analysis concluded that there is no virus or anything else except registry problems that have been set.
My internet security program is no problem and I can not find this program or anything like that.
I'm using vista Home premium
Help please, its driving me crazy...
keeney1,
Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum. I did research on this error and what I found. The XDVAnnn.sys file is apparently related to X-Trap that uses Outspark (Fiesta manufacturers). X - Trap is an anti-cheating tool used by this company of online game. I saw on the Outspark support page they request a screenshot of any error of X-Trap. You can contact their support for all possible solutions.
One thing I saw was a suggestion to disable your anti-virus program while playing the game. * DO this at YOUR OWN RISK * disable your anti-virus program can open your computer up to possible infections on the internet. As you have seen that he is also suspected of having possibly attached to it as well Trojans.
