Every time when my laptop back into hibernation mode, it gives me option to start in safe mode or start windows normally. When the computer starts, it gives the error message. :

    Microsoft support has provided a solution.  Here is the procedure:
    We can run reset Windows Update Tool and system update tool to detect incorrect manifests, files or data from the registry. Please follow the steps below.
    Step 1: Launch the tool to reset Windows Update and the update of the system tool
    1 download and run reset Windows Update Tool from the link below:

    2 download and run the update tool of the system from the link below depending on the Type of system:
    Update for Windows Vista 32-bit system tool
    Update for Windows Vista 64-bit system tool
    Note: It may take an hour or more time to detect and replace the erroneous data, please be patient. When it is finished, restart the computer and reinstall Windows Vista SP2.
    If Windows Vista SP2 can not always be installed, I suggest to download the stand-alone Installer and install it in clean boot Mode.
    Step 2: Download the installer of Windows Vista SP2 Standalone
    1 download the installer of Windows Vista SP2 Standalone from the link below depending on the Type of system:

    2. click on 'Services', check "Hide all Microsoft Services" and click on 'Disable All' (if it's not gray).

    Note: Disable temporarily the startup group only prevents the start up programs from loading at startup. This should not affect the system or other programs. We can manually run these programs later.

    The cause was not determined, but evidence tends to a disturbance in the download or installation process, with one of the errors in the event log is an error in checksum on one of the modules. With a large file, 745 meg, the mean time to failure on a LAN network is probably shorter than the download time.  The installation process was probably longer than the time that the system has increased...  Corrective actions for Microsoft could include more small download / install, not allowing an automatic installation for automatic download over a certain size, or deal with the best controls during installation to intercept the checksum error.  Duane G.   • When the computer goes into hibernation, it uninstall the device drivers for my HP printer.

    When you wake up you can't print anything until it reinstalls the drivers.  Sometimes, it is not automatic, that it will install the printer and drivers so I have to turn off the printer and turn it back on so it can recognize it.  It does not uninstall the printer and the driver when it is turned off and turned back on just at the moment where it goes into hibernation mode.

    The best way to solve this problem is to obtain the latest Windows Vista service pack. If there is a reason why you are unable to install the latest Windows Vista service pack, the best thing is to get the fix that is mentioned in Microsoft KB 929734article.

    Try to edit > Preferences > Performance and uncheck "use graphics processor.

    The minidump file showed a BUGCODE_USB_DRIVER (fe) error caused by the stop usbhub.sys:

    BUCKET_ID: 0xFE_usbhub! UsbhTrapFatalTimeout_x9f + 28

    The usbhub.sys (by default the USB hub driver) is a Windows system file, but it is quite possible the problem is a third-party driver or hardware related.

    What I would say, is to update the wireless driver by installing the next update:

    I have two monitors and just got a new system with Windows 8 is installed.  I have a monitor set up as Monitor 2 (just as I did before windows 8) so that nobody walks by can see it... I have confidential information open on that screen quite often - otherwise, it is reduced.  My main screen is set up for the bulk of the work that I do.

    However, whenever my system is locked or falls asleep, the apps/information, I put up on the screen 2, flies back to the main screen when I unlock the system.  I never had this problem before.  I tried to maximize the apps/info to fill the screen, but it does not work: it continues to move... it means that whenever I have unlock my system, confidential information appears on the screen which can be seen by anyone who was travelling.

    How can I stop this from happening?

    Thanks for posting the request in Microsoft Community Forums.

    It seems that even if the computer is configured in the standby mode, the second monitor stops and windows are going to another. This could be a problem with the video card drivers or pilots of the monitor. Video drivers could be arrested to answer when the computer is set to sleep.

    You can try to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the monitor and video card drivers and check.

    a. press the Windows key + R

    b. type devmgmt.msc and press ENTER to launch the Device Manager

    c. in the search for Device Manager for the device, click with the right button on the monitor drivers and select the Uninstalloption.

    d. also uninstall video card drivers

    e. restart the computer and check.

    Please read the thread! FloraM wrote that it seems that the wireless card is faulty.

    I can confirm this friend of mine has the same laptop and with off the laptop WLAN can be started correctly. So I replaced the WLAN for him and the problem was solved! :)

    Lately, I can't safely disconnect my M200 Port Replicator. Whenever I try, the result is a blue screen 'Multiple IRP requests' and the system restarts. Only, this has happened for the past two weeks.

    I bought my PC not so long ago and it's a machine woderful piece, BUT I have a question that I guess is with my RAM. Whenever my PC is overloaded (when I start a game + my winamp plays and I'm downloading stuff on the internet) I get a blue screen telling me that Windows is dumping some memory etc etc... He suggested to update my BIOS driver as a possible solution to the problem. I tried new drivers from this site, but there is no news yet.

    Any suggestions how to fix this problem?




    I don t think you will solve this problem by updating the BIOS. It is a new unit and there are more recent version of the BIOS installed.
    In my view, this problem occurs due to running applications. The most games need the full memory performance.
    In this case another application cannot use the full memory.

    In your case, I would check the memory sticks or / and to improve memory.
