  OK - I understand your question, I think.

  Launch you your Notification, and the BlackBerry system plays tones and vibrates the phone, regardless of the user defined in the profile. You do not have it in your program.

  So you register your notice, then you fire NotificationsManager.triggerImmediateEvent () when you want the notification to happen.

  The BlackBerry fires sounds, either, according to the current settings for the active profile.

  Hi all

  I want to implement a listener that will be notified when the device has been inactive for x amount of time.  Another option would be to be notified when the screen will Dim.  I don't want to have to follow every movement of the press and dial key by myself. There must be some notification api for this.  The goal is that I want to display a password screen when the unit has been idle for some time.  This application has sensitive data and I don't want someone else to retrieve the device when the screen went dark and be able to look at the data in the application.  I need them to be able to reenter the password in this case.  Any ideas?

  You can also implement SystemListener2 that has a method that is called when the backlight changes status.

• Navigator.notification works is not in the browser

  I tried a simple PhoneGap application that uses the Notification API, but it does not display the dialogs at all. I have yet an Android phone adapted to test, so I'm just using the browser. For now, when the page is loaded, the application must display a confirmation dialog with 2 buttons, which produce vibration and beep, respectively.

  Could someone help me to identify what's wrong with the code below? (Note that I am completely new to programming PhoneGap, but have you tried JavaScript alert in this same code and it worked fine.)

  Must what conditions I put in place before I can access the plugins of Cordova?

  It depends on if you're going the hard way using the CLI or the stressless with Phonegap Build construction. Since this is the general forum of Phonegap, I assume you are using the CLI.

  In this case:

  -you need to add the plugin to npm

  -You must have a reference to cordova.js

  -you have to wait for deviceready to the fire before using the plugin

  Apparently, you did at least the second and third place, otherwise deviceready would not have fired and yu would not have had your alert. So far so good.

  See if the "cordova-plugin-dialog" plugin is installed:

  If this is the case, then test you on a real device and see if the ripple is the problem.

  I love my bike 360. But sometimes, when I get a message from den contact photo that appears as the background sounds, well, terrible. Ive tried to change the contact's photo on my phone at a better resolution photo, but it always looks bad. Its a nice watch and it's a shame the photos seem so compressed. I know that its possible to get beautiful surfaces of contact because of the demo seen in videos. In addition, Album art seems good too.   I've contacted the developers Android wear and got a little more information.

  It turns out that it is a problem with the application Google Hangouts is hard-coded. For those that care here is the answer I received from Wayne Piekarski:

  "The app Hangouts was previously using setLargeIcon since it is what the Notification API provided previously. Now that they have updated so that it uses setBackground() to Android, and a future update will push this. »

  Thus, it seems that we just have to wait and Hangouts team will take care of that with an update. Maybe it's something to talk to other developers if you notice the same error.

  Currently join/leave audio notifications are not yet supported, but will be in the next version of telepresence 4.4 server should be out later this year.

  To send notifications by e-mail, you need to connect to oimclient with a user id other wise notification can be sent.

  Sentinel page is too early in the treatment of set this global but you should be able to use before header process, or at any other point in shooting to set. What is an API, it is not a because a simple assignment to the global level will be sufficient.

  I want to know how to get push notification as we APN. I found a demo in the code example of RIM named "httppushdemo" with the server and client code.

  It works this way,

  My custom server (java servlet) push a few data for some static ip (on MDS with given port), on my desk and the BB device receive the MDS data, where my blackberry MDS Simulator is on. So in this case I got direct push notification when the application is activated.

  Flow for Simulator is so as:

  Server customized---> MDS (with specific ipadrees / port)<-------------- >

  (do)                                                              (receive the push)

  But my question is that, in the event of a real device, I have MDS to push the text to the specific ip address.  I have MDS in my device itself. So from where custom server I need to push the text?

  Direct to device? if yes then please tell me where I can change my bb device ip address. ?

  The AFN is similar to the notion of PPG in BlackBarry who is world BES MDS or Service of Push BlackBerry World BIS. Http you post your button to one of the PPG and it routes the message to the device for you.

  Keep in mind when you push user push BIS and BES that push you to the device with address e-mail or a PIN that you can push only per SPINDLE.

  I am looking for a way to receive notifications to calculate vcloud, in particular, I am interested in the actions of the lifecycle VM as powerOn, powerOff, etc. The way in which this could be done by listening vCloud RabbitMQ for notifications, but I am struggling with the verification of the AmqpSettings. Documentation describe the way how to retrieve the parameters - vCloud Air Documentation Center, but I always get a 403 error. Looks like it is because it requires the system administrator privilege.

  Can you please clarify is it possible to connect to vCloud RabbitMQ to listen to notifications to calculate? If possible - how to find the settings, if not - is there an another way to receive notifications to calculate vcloud?

  Hey Oleg. As you pointed out these features are only available to admins of cloud vCD and only had a vCA vCD OrgAdmin-ish visibiity tenant.

  On the top of my head, I can't think of a way tenant vCD can trap and warned by these events. Sounds like a use case is legitimate. I'll pass through our PMs.

  I'll post here if something you can configure to get there (can't think of any option now).
